This is hands-down the BEST place for a massage!! I first met Ms. Lois through Groupon, a few years ago, and I must admit I had never had a massage like hers before. She may be tiny, but she is STRONG!! She has different massages and packages that you can choose from. I normally go between "The Escape" (focuses on the back of the body) and "The Exhale" (total body) massages. Ms Lois keeps track of your massages and makes great recommendations on what you may need. She really listens to whatever your concerns may be and will tailor your massage based on what you want. I try to work out at least 3-4 times a week, so I try to alternate my massages based on how I am feeling and how long it has been since my previous massage. Let me tell you, if I could get a massage every week, I absolutely would. Especially from Ms. Lois!! She is the absolute greatest. She is so kind and has such a beautiful spirit. I had only heard how good Lo's massages were so as soon as I had an opportunity to go I did. I have never had a massage quite like it. It was like her fingertips had eyes that could see into the body and massage away all the old stuff. It was amazing!! After the massage I felt as if spaces were opened in my body and felt mentally energized and physically relaxed. I have had surgery on my feet and all massage therapist avoid them even though I tell them it is just a small area that they should go easy on. I'm always disappointed because I love getting my feet massaged. Lois, she confidently maneuvered around the sensitive area and it was then that I knew I was in for a great massage. I've had hundreds of massages in my life, but this one was the best I've ever experienced, and I'm completely hooked. Lois Atwater is an angel from heaven, strong yet soft-spoken, patient, compassionate, persistent, humble and extremely knowledgeable about the body. I saw Lois today and was blown away by her techniques. I appreciate the change in approach to the bad knots and dense stress spots in my upper back. Instead of applying full force pressure with all her fingers, she does this multiple finger motion that distracts the slight discomfort. I am impressed and truly grateful, right now. I received this massage as a birthday gift. First of all - I thought the reviews may have exaggerated a bit because they were SO good. But after my massage, all I can say is "WOW!!!" The massage I got from Lois was beyond INCREDIBLE...and I've had more than my share of massages at high end spas and resorts. I think one review said "100 out of 10". I concur completely! And yes! Her attention to detail is off the chart! I must admit as much as I adore massages, I'm actually very sensitive to energy so it's hard for me to completely relax while getting one. But Lois's energy is so amazing that I immediately felt at ease which was kinda weird for me. I've never experienced a masseuse that was so present, intuitive, and gifted. I was also really impressed by all the different modalities she seamlessly incorporated into my session and it's clear that she not only tunes into the specific needs of the person's body at a whole different level, but knows exactly what to do to (in her words) "coax" it to relax. Lois gives the best massage I've ever received. I sit at a desk all day and have bad posture (working on it) which is a bad combination for shoulders, back and hamstrings. She uses just the right amount of pressure to get rid of the stiffness and tension. I think my workouts are better too since range of motion has increased. This place had EXCELLENT service! Lois was my massage therapist, and she was wonderful. She was welcoming from the get-go and listened to all of my needs. The massage table was extremely comfortable and heated. When I placed my head down, it smelled of eucalyptus and lavender. I've had many massages, but this one was EXCEPTIONAL. Lois is an amazing massage therapist! I got the Escape Massage from head to toe, you could basically call it a fully body massage. She gets your toes to your neck and even gets on your face at your lymph nodes and mucosal sinus points.
