Sergio's an incredible barber and we really appreciate that it's appointment only so you don't spend your entire day waiting. He's also really polite with my son which we appreciate. Only drawback is the price : 25+5 dollar tip equals 30 bucks every three weeks x 2 = $60 Technically you're not supposed to tip the owner as he is keeping 100% of the payment (it's his shop) but feels Weird not to and would cause bad blood . read more

Looked over my shoulder and it was Nadia...yup a female. I must admit I was concerned, a little reluctant, but I said what the hell- let's see what she can do. The results - she's been my regular barber for the last year, and I get a cut every week. She's got skills and I highly recommend. Watch out for that because Yelp sees that as a Red flag and can remove them and from the looks of it they already removed 1 of them. Been going to Sergeo's for close to 10 years now. I live 30-45 min drive away now but still come whenever I get the chance. Both Sergeo and mark are the best in town and fast. You may have to wait a bit for people who call a head or come in and let him know they'll be back. Yes the wait can be long depends who's called in prior. Do you just show up to the dr's and think you can skip people who had appointments? Overall best in town I've tried a buncha places in queens and Manhattan but always find my way back to Sergeo's. read more

I've been here a few times. There are three of them. Sergeo, Mark and George. That's the order of their respective skill level as well and by all means I would avoid George. He simply can't cut straight. These guys are usually busy and they give a decent cut, but I'll never understand the order with which they take their customer. They always play favoritism to the repeat customers by letting them cut the line. And sergeo always seems to "go to lunch" whenever he doesn't want to cut your hair. I'd avoid it and I won't be returning. Your wait can be 6 minutes or 60 minutes, depending on how they decide to shuffle the wait list. read more

I've been going to Serge since 2004 when he was still at the barbershop on Springfield. Work had me relocate out of state for a few years but I returned last year. I needed a cut and thought I'd give this place a try since it's the closest to my house, instead of shlepping up to Spring. I walk in and lo and behold, it's Serge! I didn't know why the name didn't click for me beforehand, lol. I'm very happy for him on starting his own business and also having him cut my hair again. Sure, it can get busy at times but that's because his reputation as a barber is well known in the area. Even when he was at Springfield, he always had the most people waiting for him. I'm very picky about who cuts my hair and this place is by far the best I've find. I have thick hair and supposedly it's pretty hard to cut, and that's not an issue for Sergeo nor Mark (usually get it from either or). George is another barber, from what I've seen he seems to know what he's doing as well. Never had a complaint about my cut. It does get very busy so be prepared to wait.
