Went into this week shop last week. While they have a vast selection of wigs, the sales help are horrible. Two people, one behind the counter who was glum and unfriendly. Just left Serge's Wigs looking for a wig for my Mom. Found one just her style but was the wrong color. They are ordering me one in her color. Suppose to be in next week. Horrible and paranoid customer service! The employees followed us the entire time we were browsing, hiding behind shelves and acting like we were America's most wanted criminals. They glared us down every second of our visit. I even asked if we were making her uncomfortable by being there and if she would feel better about letting us shop in peace if she held onto my purse. Then the employees gave me an inappropriate amount of attitude at the check out stand. I've never felt more unwelcome and I regret giving this store a penny of my money. read more

This place cracks me up. My girl and i have tattoos, and arnt 50+ so we must be crooks! Lol. My girl picked out a wig, added a brush, and foam head and because my (debit card with a pin number) was a temp card they wouldnt even slide they acted like we were shady crooks with a stolen card. Fyi, debit cards are secured with pin numbers for both consumer and and merchant. Also, if you have this weird policy that no one else has (because it makes no sense) put some signs up. I can afford to buy that store out and was treated with odd looks, whispers, and one employee even calling the owner for opinion on if she should take my card of not. Bad service. read more

One of the worse experiences . I took my sister there she is going through brain cancer ,her forehead showed were they had to cut on her head . I had hoped showing her these wigs would help her. But no we had a pushy sales person she told us we had to buy a cap from them for $5.00 . When my sister was trying on the wigs she told the sales person she was hurting her and started to cry the sales woman just keep pushing saying she works on commission . Not sure what commission had to do with us looking at wigs with a crying woman . I told the pushy sales person to back off . How bad this experience was. I will never take some one there that is dealing with cancer or after that I will just never go back. read more

So one of my best friends has cancer and we made a day of wig shopping with a small group of us to show our support for her.. We heard that this place has a great selection and offers a discount for those in chemo therapy. When our group of gals walked in we were greeted by a really nice lady named Rosemary. She was very helpful after my friend explained what she was looking for and offered some really great advise. We learned quite a bit about wigs. Rosemary was very patient and kind to my friend..she knew what to say & when to say it. We of course are a whacky bunch so she was able to let her guard down & have some fun with us. We even snapped a few pics which I guess is a no-no inside the store for some reason. My friend found an amazing wig that will be perfect for her journey through chemo. And another friend decided to try on some wigs for kicks and giggles..and she actually found one that was awesome and bought it as well. So half the group was wigging out! it was pretty awesome. They can take them back anytime for styling and repairs if need be. They had a great selection and a several vanity tables for trying the wigs on. You do have to buy a $2 dew rag to try on the wigs but thats standard anywhere they sell wigs. read more

I agree with TH., don't work there nor shop there. If by owner "mother" you mean the manager then I completely agree with you. The manager is rude & unprofessional even to the customers. The services they provide is terrible especially for the price they charge. There are plenty of wig shops in Las Vegas. Don't even waste your time there. This has been my first experience purchasing a wig. After I visited the store, the wigs were so beautiful and the entire staff was so amazing, that I purchased 5 wigs. Very rude customer service!!!! The heavy set white woman. Followed us around the entire time and just stood there for a while before I noticed. BARBRA is her name! She is very rude and obviously has no idea what good customer service is. Please do not buy anything from her. Worst customer service in the world!!!! Very RUDE workers, they act all high and mighty. They say that their human hair wigs are in the store, don't be fooled they sell you a wig that's supposedly human hair but as soon as you iron it, it MELTS!!! They said it was over processed hair and it burns, did not smell like sulfur when hair burns and it was PLASTIC!!!! They argue with you acting like your a criminal, and not only that be warned their wigs don't have Labels on them. Because they claim they don't want the buyer to know the manufacture, and they are VERY OVER PRICED!!!! The workers give attitudes if your wrong instead kissing your a$$ when you spend 750 for a wig. DO NOT go here!!!!! Don't be surprised if they go on ebay and buy their wigs a triple their price. I hope they go out of business and the owner is never around and will never return a phone call for customer satisfaction! HORRIBLE!!! read more

I've wanted a wig for some time to change my look and Serge's was recommended by the Salon at the Aria as the best place in Las Vegas to get wiggy. Serge's is serious about wigs with an extensive selection of synthetic and natural hair wigs in lengths, colors with very up to date styles. There is also a section of costume wigs. Since this was my first time I had no idea what style would look best with the shape of my face and coloring. Peggy helped find the right style and guided me through the process. Since I wanted to wear one the same evening I selected one that was already styled in the case. Peggy gave the wig a quick refresh determined where to sew in the clips based on my real hair and fitted me with the final product. This place is fun but at the same time extremely professional understanding the intimate relationship between a woman and hair. The store is very pretty and comfortable. There were other woman there with hair loss for various reasons and their needs were handled discreetly. All in all it the visit was two hours. If you plan to wear the wig immediately call ahead and allow time for styling. It's just like making an appointment to get your hair done. I was lucky and found one ready to go but for cutting, styling, etc. this takes time. I purchased two natural hair wigs, two cases, head forms and was given advice on how to care for the pieces. I also love that fact that wigs have names! I came home with Russian Erica and Diva who have now been renamed Pepper. Keep in mind that natural hair is very expensive but for me I wanted something that would last over the years so it was an investment. read more

My girlfriend and I traveled to Las Vegas, specifically to shop for wigs. I am a physician and she is a marketing specialist. We both wear wigs for medical reasons, 24/7 and are not new to wigs. When we entered Serge's, we were the only customers. There were 2 sales women present. One that stayed in the back and the other that helped on the floor. The woman on the floor was nervously following us around the shop. She instructed us not the remove the wigs without assistance. No problem. My friend chose a few wigs to try on. They charge $5 for a wig cap. No you cannot provide your own cap. And, if you return tomorrow and want to try on again, they want another $5. My friend found a human hair wig that she really liked, except she wanted highlights add. The shop said they do not do that, so I offered that I could contact a friend in the business, to see if she could do it. I took out my phone to message her and was told I had to put my phone away immediately, as they have a NO PHONE policy. Um, okay. So, how are we to make the decision about the wig? I continued to browse the store while my friend tried on wigs. The second worker in the back of the store comes out and sees me touching the wigs. She yells to the first woman, the one helping my friend, that she better follow me around, because I am touching the wigs. At this point, I stop looking because NO ONE would I ever support a business that treats it's customers this way. When my friend and I get to the car, she expresses the same sentiment. Despite finding a wig there she liked, she sought out any other business in which to spend her money and she was SHOCKED at the behavior of the workers at Serge's. I'm not sure how they get any customers when this is how they treat women. I mentioned our professions as we were dressed very nice and in no way resemble street people. Serge's Wigs has nice wigs, but awful customer service. My mother (99) has purchased there before and had called ahead to see if they had the wigs she likes in stock. They did. They even recognized her. However, before she could try the wigs on they insisted on a $5 deposit for the cap. She wanted to put it on her charge when she paid for the wigs, but said "NO!" had to be paid in advance. It was 4:30 and they closed at 5 PM. Sales person told her that they closed at 5 and if she could not make up her mind before that she should probably come back another day, She kept reminding me mom that it was getting closer to 5 every 10 minutes. Mom bought the wigs, but I told my mother that I if I were her I would find another wig shop and not return. We left the store at 4:58. Glad to get out of there!!! read more

Horrible place to shop. Doesn't even deserve 1 star. Treat you as though you are a crook the minute you enter the place. Owner is EXTREMELY rude to the customers and the staff. Service was bad, workers are rude. Walked in with my friend today to buy a wig. My friend tried on several wigs and I watched them and was on fb checking my feed when one of the rude ass workers tried accusing me of taking pictures. This lady was nowhere near ne to even know what i was looking at. Who takes pictures of wigs with their camera facing the floor? They lost a sale and gained another negative review on yelp. To make matters worse, my friend payed $5 for a wig cap that they weren't able to take with them. What kind of business is this? read more

I had a bad experience here. First got yelled at for handling the hair, then was told that the owner will have a fit if she sees me touching the wigs!! Very unprofessional here. I have visited Serge's Wigs many times, and my visits have been pleasant overall. However, today I was very disappointed in the way I was treated. When I came into the store, I walked to the area where there are discounted wigs on display. Two of the salesladies spoke to me and told me that they would be with me in a minute. I told them that there was no hurry, because I wanted to look around. When I found the style that I wanted, I made the apparently BIG mistake of looking behind the wig and seeing a box directly behind it in another color. I opened this ONE box and took out the wig. The next thing I heard was a loud shout behind me yelling, "SHE'S IN THE BOXES, SHE'S IN THE BOXES. GET OVER THERE." One of the salesladies ran over and began to help me. I could not believe that whoever this was could yell this out in this fashion. She could easily have said in a nice way that someone would be right over to help me, because the boxes had to be opened by a salesgirl or something of that order. When I got my wits together, I asked one of the salesladies if she was the one that was so upset that I had opened a box. She didn't say yes or no, however, since she did not respond, I was led to believe that she was the offender. Maybe she was protecting the manager. I then told her that there was a way to talk to customers. When she again said nothing, I said, to the a counter lady, "I guess that I get no apology." The counter lady then said, "I'm sorry." I told her that she had done nothing and there was no need for her to apologize. The lady who I thought was the manager, now said, "Thanks for shopping with us." Still no apology. When I then heard another lady's voice, I realized that the woman who I had been directing my comments to was probably innocent, and that it was the manager who had yelled. This lady was only taking the blame for her. I will not shop Serge's again. There was no cause for this kind of disrespect and rudeness over an innocent act. There are too many other wig shops here in Vegas to spend my money in a place that was so rude to a regular customer. read more

We got ripped off here! I brought my husband with me to look at wigs. Mary was our saleswoman. First, I had to pay $5.00 for a cap that I was told would come off the price of a wig if I bought one. I tried on several wigs, all of which looked very nice on me. At one point, Mary was trying to convince us to buy 4 of them, which created some unnecessary pressure for us, being new customers. Finally, we agreed on 2 wigs. One of them, she had told us earlier, would need the bangs trimmed. Once we agreed to buy it, she said the trim would cost $25.00! Imagine! We were already spending over $600 for 2 wigs and now another $25 was being added to the price. (other places charge $5 for the same trim) Then they charged us $6 for a head that we didn't even ask for! We saw it later when we were looking over the receipt at home. And there was no $5 reduction on the receipt for the cap, either. We bought a conditioner from them that cost $25. You can get it online for half the price, as we later found out. All in all, we were tricked and I just hope these wigs don't fall apart like I read about in other peoples' reviews. In retrospect, we now understand their mode of operendum: size up the customer and get as much $ as you can! I will not shop here again. read more

Not a nice experience. Nancy who helped me was nice enough but the lady behind the counter very rude. Nancy told me I would receive 25% off if I purchased 2 wigs. I'm assuming the other lady was the manager because she snapped at this salesperson that it's only 20%. If I was going to make a sale of 2 wigs I would have let the 25% go and tell the salesperson after the customer was gone it's only 20%. Then they have the nerve to charge you $5.00 for a net to try on the wigs with. These are the same things the shoe stores put out for people to try shoes on with, nothing elaborate. I could see a $1.00 to keep people from trying wigs on for fun. The final straw is the price and the quality. I think they are all discontinued models and the ones they say are made specifically for them seem really cheap. All in all I wasted $40.00 in cab fare to visit this place ( we were staying in Vegas). A person could do much better on-line even with the restocking fee, which they also charge if you make a return. read more
