She helped me to find local alternatives for the items from list and I was able to pick it up next morning. Hilal has also suggested some other products for other purposes. We then extended our vacation for a couple days to sightsee in Istanbul. Starting at around Day 3 of our trip, we came down with a common cold, with symptoms including running nose and a wet cough. There was no fever or fatigue, and we otherwise felt fine. But we did end up going to a pharmacy at every stop to purchase the local version of cough drops and Mucinex. During the cruise, that usually meant a line of fellow travelers who were experiencing similar symptoms. This Istanbul pharmacy was a couple minutes walk from our hotel near the Hagia Sophia Mosque and served us well, both in terms of options and help at the counter. A couple packages of Kleenex helped as well.

I was there in literally under an hour. And in that time, they not only attended to me, they X-ray'd, CT Scanned and got be a Walking boot and crutches, and sent me on my way! They were all very lovely, and they made sure to have someone who was fluent in English, (as was the attending Doctor). I couldn't have dreamed up a better experience going to an ER. Certainly NOTHING like going to the ER in the US. In addition, the charges were very reasonable... less than $500 for all of their care, including the Walking boot and Crutches. I am sure it would have for 5x that cost or more here in California. And though I do have Insurance, 8 months later, I am STILL waiting for my reimbursement!!!

I was very lucky to find Dr. Mangan here because there are so few chiropractors and many of them just take your money and do nothing. Dr. Mangan spends 30 plus minutes with each patient which is remarkable. Anyone who has back problems from the flight or just in general should go to see this wonderful miracle worker!!
