I don't know what the turnaround would be. Yet that would have meant that until I received my original and the new spare key back, I would be without a key! What if their package became lost and I would never receive either my original key or the additional replacement key? Not good at all. So much for riding my e-bike then! I visited Everest Locksmith this morning and they cut me two keys from my only remaining one and they work perfectly. Price wise, well worth it to me. So thank you for your excellent service!

Cost was well inline with estimate. He exceeded the realistic expectations he had set in all ways. We ended up being outside for almost two hours in all the confusion, waiting and then having to call someone else to come and help us. So instead of calling us back to admit they didnt have anyone that could make it out to us they made us wait and wonder for even longer! We had groceries and 2 kids sleeping inside with a broken latch on our door. Super unprofessional, I wouldn't have even been mad if you couldn't make it out to us just TELL us so we can make the proper arrangements.

Personally, I had a terrible experience with this company - however - I acknowledge that my needs…read morewere a bit unique. They may be fine for current lock technologies. I needed vintage lock services - an estimated 100 year old lock. I called and was assured they could handle it and that he would send his 'specialist'. The guy who showed up started trying to pry open the lock with a screw driver. (Did I mention that lock was on a very beautiful and precious old steamer trunk!) I told him to stop, and, that he can't break open the lock and that he was making me nervous. At that point, I was not letting him out of my site. He eventually got tired of me hovering, stepped outside to get advice and came back saying he has to take it to the shop and the estimate was $650 which was a ridiculous estimate. Two things: My research indicated getting it opened should be between $75 and $150 - and there was no way he was working on my trunk. I clearly said I'm not interested and I'd like to pay him for the service call, what do I owe? His response was "what is it worth to you". I said $100, I'd like to pay you and you can leave. He kept asking "what is it worth to you"? He was not listening to what the customer wanted which was for him to leave. I told him multiple times to leave. He kept arguing! Holy 'crapatolly'. My husband intervened and escorted him to the door. P.S. - it cost me $120 including a new key to get this opened at another locksmith. Again - I want to stress my lock situation was unique - BUT - they should have admitted up front that they weren't actually prepared to deal with it. And - the rep should have listened to me instead of trying to bargain after giving me a *ridiculous* quote.
