When we arrived for our appointment, Greg was speaking with someone who had walked in without one and had a lot of questions. I was impressed that he still managed to begin our consultation on time and gave us his full attention. He made us feel heard, answered all of my many (many!) questions with so much patience, and was upfront about what he could assist with and where I might need to resolve things first before moving forward. The owner needs to either retrain or fire the young man who takes the photos. He seems to be very unhappy working here and it shows in his words and actions. He never smiled, and maintained an "I hate this place, my job, and you" expression on his face from first sight to ignoring my "Thank you" when I headed out. The advertised selling point of this place is that they'll re-take your photo until you're satisfied (he points and clicks, then shows you the photo on the computer screen, and if you don't like how it turned out, you can ask him to take another). After the first shot, I asked him to take another, instead of just doing so, said guy deadpans, "It looks good" with the attitude of a challenge. Well, thank you for your opinion, but it's my right to ask for a retake if I want one (it's not like I've asked for too many - this was my first request). When I repeated my request, he reluctantly complied. That done, he muttered for me to wait, and ignored my question about whether credit cards are accepted (yes). Another young man was in charge of taking payment, and he was just as robotic as the first (no thanks from him either). I left thinking it's sad to see twenty-something-year-old Scrooge types, and this place has two of them. Updated: I added a star because, after reading my review, the owner contacted me to apologize and said he would re-train his employees. I appreciate business owners who care about their customers and their business's reputation. Kudos to Alvin!
