I'm absolutely terrified of needles and especially have such bad PTSD with any sort of oral operation. Thankfully Dr Pham and his team made me feel less anxious throughout the entire procedure, and it definitely went better than expected. Aside from the great care, I feel like its worth mentioning that Dr Pham is so knowledgeable and I definitely feel like he is an expert in the field. Dr. Wong's assistant walked me through the 360 x-rays and interior & exterior scans very carefully (you get a 3D model of your teeth after that, which is really cool!) Dr. Wong went over my scans teeth by teeth and answered my questions. After that, he cleaned my teeth and removed all the stains and buildup. Kaiser offers dental via Delta Care USA as part of my package plan. Saw my regular dentist for cleaning in 2025, no issues. Waited 5 months and decided to try the Kaiser plan dentist. Was assigned to this office. They had no openings for three months, but took the appointment anyway. They did numerous x-rays, more than I ever had experienced. Felt like they were trying to find something wrong with me. The dentist comes in looks in my mouth for about 8 seconds and then says I need deep cleaning and a cap that never gave me any problems removed and redone. He said a gap between that tooth and another would cause me to eventually cause a root canal. I did not agree. I knew I did not need deep cleaning or a cap removed and redone. I asked to just have my teeth cleaned. He refused to clean my teeth unless I agreed to deep cleaning and a new cap. I got up off the chair and left. Set up an appointment with my old dentist. My regular dentist cleaned my teeth, x-rayed the tooth that so called needed a new cap and found no problems. No deep cleaning needed. Obviously to me he was trying to drum up extra income for himself. Then weeks later his office staff calls to ask when would I like to have my cap redone. Unbelievable! I am reporting him to Kaiser Delta Care USA. Beware!
