The small storefront actually doesn't show off the size of the restaurant, as it goes way back into the building, meaning that you can have decent sized group there and it doesn't feel cramped or anything. But we're here for the food, and I'm very glad to say it didn't disappoint! I had chicken satay for entree and beef noodle soup, which was delicious, while my girlfriend had a mixed starter and Panang Curry, which she says was really yum! The only downside was her entree didn't actually arrive, and a waitress came out to ask if we wanted them both together or just to skip the entree, which we did. It was a pity, as we were starving and the extra wait was torture, but the mains certainly made up for it. All in all an affordable, easy, and pleasant feed, we'll definitely be back again, just hope the entrees all make it next time!

The service was very friendly and nice but amateur, and with three people all checking in on us regularly, it really made us feel incredibly uncomfortable from a health perspective (as well as just being unnecessarily disruptive). Two things they could change instantly that would make a huge difference: 1) get staff to wear masks properly; and 2) have one waiter per table. The food was really good, and the kitchen staff member we saw seemed very professional and was wearing his mask properly. The outdoor environment would be very enjoyable with different service, so it's a shame this aspect which would be so easy to fix isn't working, and people are being put at risk. The wait staff seemed so well-intentioned, we hope you can put it right.

But this is part of the fun - it's very Italian! Adriatico offers a great selection of pizzas and pastas, and I personally recommend going there with a group of friends or your family and getting a few pizzas to share. The 'Adriatico Special' pizza is absolutely delicious, but they are also happy to create a pizza based on your craving. My friend had a pizza with salami, pineapple, mushrooms, capsicum, bacon and cheese made up for especially for him! Another great thing about Adriatico is that it is both licensed and offers a BYOW option. This means that while their meals are quite pricey (the average dinner meal costs about $30), you can save money on wine by bringing your own. Bonus!

We had a party of approximately 20 people, and as it was a birthday, we had a cake. Only on they day we called to confirm the booking were we told of a "cake-age" fee, but were told to talk with our waiter about it being waived. After we ordered and every one had finished eating, a person I can only assume was the manager, approached my parter and explained that he was now going to charge a flat fee($30) to allow us to have the cake. He then did his best to explain this was a "good deal" as normally he charges $5 per person and "all restaurants are doing it". He also argued that he was losing money as we wouldn't then buy desserts and he had to pay staff to clean the dishes used for the cake. I can almost understand this, however they only provided napkins for us to eat the cake from. I'm guessing he did this as the place was so dead, but he did a great job of ruining my partners birthday dinner. We paid the charge to avoid an argument, and as everyone had eaten, it wasn't really possible to relocate everyone for cake. We would not have minded if they were up front about the charges when we booked, but he has constantly changed his mind, as he clearly has tried his luck for a few extra dollars. Would definitely not recommend.
