My friend and I ended up at Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park on a whim and were so impressed! The park offered a clean and quiet beach with several beach volleyball nets. Its pristine boardwalk was perfect for long walks with great views, and it even had several bathroom buildings. There was a decent amount of metered parking spots, as well as some paid lots. One section of the boardwalk, at the northern end of Seven Presidents (aka "Pier Village"), had loads of shopping, nice restaurants, and beach bars. We could not have asked for much more!

I'm a creature of habit . Same beach same spot every summer for 28 years at Ocean Grove ! at the behest of my brother i came here today for first time . LOVED IT !!! Maybe it was because it was 82 , no humidity ? Not a cloud in the sky ? Wasn't full ? Close parking ? Nice crowd .. it seemed like the stars aligned . Or there was no rough water break at the shore line to push you down you can easily walk into the crystal clear water . In NJ !?!? a huge sand bar to sit and relax Only neg was you pay for entrance and parking . I've never paid for parking at jersey shore . But then again i didn't waste time & gas driving around to find a stop . The promenade wasn't as close as i am use to Ocean Grove to great restaurants in Asbury park . 20-25 min walk . I'd go back

Has a playground, wash area, restroom for both genders, food area, vending machines and lifeguards who are only upto 5pm. If you are an aviation fan. You can do plane spotting here for planes landing in jfk.

I really enjoy this part of Long Branch. It is the beginning of the Long Branch Boardwalk and it is quite attractive. This park gets it's name from the seven presidents that either resided here or vacationed here during the summer; Ulysses S. Grant, Rutherford B. Hayes, James Garfield, Chester Arthur, William McKinley, Benjamin Harrison, and Woodrow Wilson. The residents here are friendly and it is pet friendly. Parking is good regardless if you come in the off-season or not. But I enjoy coming here pretty much anytime I get the opportunity. It is also not too far from several good places to eat, a major plus for foodies like me. Come and enjoy a few hours here.

My wife and I arrived at about 8:00 am, paid the fee to the pleasant attendant, found a close parking spot, and five minutes later sunbathing. This is a no-brainer...one of the best beaches on the Jersey coast. The water is still somewhat chilly in early July but still nice and refreshing. Hint...let's not forget the boogie board.

Good beach near NY. Nice life guards. Family atmosphere. Great concession, bathrooms, showers and parking. $26 for two adults, two kids (17 and under). Lots of hotels a few miles away.

Really nice facilities, right on the beach.

So convenient to have everything you need close by - parking, showers, bathrooms! Plus the ticket lady was super nice. Would return again!

Except for the pot smokers, this park is great! Nice view of the ocean. On a clear day, you can see NYC Skyline.

As long as I've lived in Jersey I've never been to Seven Presidents ... I literally had no idea it…read moreexisted until the other day when I was informed it was where we were going lol. It's off the Eatontown - 105 - exit on the Parkway and pretty easy to get to. There's paid parking and also a $10 per adult charge to enter. The walk from the parking lots to the beach isn't the most fun but I've found that's typically the case w Jersey beaches. The beach itself is spacious and pretty picturesque with rocks (not safe to swim on and it states that) and it's honestly pretty darn relaxing. People keep to themselves and there are swimming sections that are monitored by lifeguards. The water was warm but rough which is pretty normal, but I don't play with the Atlantic Ocean so I was just fine sticking my feet in. The bathrooms, showers and changing rooms were clean and spacious. I'd definitely visit again and recommend Seven President to anyone who wants a nice beach day without driving waaaay down the Parkway.

Great spot next to the beach (but the beach costs $10 to go to so that is unamerican and classist)…read morenice street plex with giant version of thing at Nyack and a smaller 2 sided pyramid with gap, plenty of rails of all shapes and ledges for all levels, 1/4 to bigger than board gap, as well as a pointed big as your board gap that will throw you on your ass. deeper bowl on the street plex side is about 6' and is more like a dedicated concrete mini than a flowy bowl I couldn't find a good line. The other side of the skate plex is a shallow bowl with a 6/7' vert-ish pocket. Jimmy Hoffa s coffin and planter transition separate the shallow end from the shallower end. The trannies are a bit steep for the height but all in all a good place to learn. Over all fun, very sunny, little shade. Went at open so only locals were beginners and seemed cool enough not dicks or anything.
