Someone selling cute art stationary, Honey booth , The Darling Market sold some attractive clothing (new/modern) . A gentleman there sold lovely wooden kitchen spoons. The retro booths had the best nicest retro clothes . Such colors and styles. Very cool. Also sold retro basket handbags, retro sugar/flower containers, precious little vases that made me giddy. I stopped in late Wednesday night and sampled some of their fudge. It was absolutely amazing. Heavenly Slice Fudge truly lived up to its name. I also tried a sample of their Caramel Sea Salt ice cream, and it was a 10/10. Ultimately, I chose not to buy anything that night since I hadn't eaten dinner yet, but I knew for sure I was coming back the next day. On Thursday night, I brought all my coworkers with me since we were in town for a work trip. I ordered a waffle bowl with a scoop of the Caramel Sea Salt Chocolate ice cream, and it did not disappoint. I usually end my reviews by saying, "If I'm ever in the area again, I'll be back." For this place, I WILL be back--even if that means taking myself to the area just to get more ice cream.

This Kilwins is located in St. Armand's Circle. Given that, parking can be tricky and lines can be long. Conveniently, this Kilwins was in walking distance to my hotel on a recent stay in Lido Key so I was sure to stop by for a scoop. Also, I am glad to see Kilwins was able to renovate and recover after back-to-back Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton hit the area. I wouldn't drive to St. Armands Circle and fight parking just for Kilwins but if in the area and craving a sweet treat, Kilwins has visitors covered with ice cream, fudge and candy.

I really liked the interactive areas of the upstairs portion. And seeing the train cars in person was really interesting! The art museum was partially being renovated during the visit but there was still a huge amount of very large art pieces available to see. I enjoyed the restaurant inside a lot too. Very good food but if you go during 12-1pm, it's best to have a reservation. It was a full house! The store was cute and I only wish they had a few more museum-specific souvenirs. Make sure to bring a hat and water if you'll be exploring the full area as it can be HOT outside exploring the garden areas.

This place reminded me of walking through Italy. Love the replica of David in the courtyard. Also, the pianos mixed in as a part of the collection was a great touch. When you're at the beach there's no loud, rowdy crowds or music. Just the crashing sound of the waves and laughter of children playing. Don't get me wrong I love a good beach restaurant but I think there's something magical about it being more natural. There are restaurants and bars one or two streets over so not a far walk, trolley or cart ride away. Such a wonderful family friend place. Lots of options for vacation rentals. Just a short drive from central Florida or even closer the Sarasota airport. We will definitely be back.
