Unfortunately, Bob only has a Master's degree in counseling, and that's not enough for Medicare! So I had to switch to his partner Larry, who has a Ph.D. and is able to be a Medicare provider. I've been very satisfied since making the switch, even though I was unhappy about having to do that just to satisfy a bureaucratic requirement! Larry, like Bob, is a very good listener and a caring provider. In addition to general individual therapy, Larry does relationship counseling, works with people who suffered sexual abuse as children or adolescents or are experiencing PTSD, and helps people with coming out issues.
