really terrible work and company to work with. I took a few motorcycle parts here for a custom bike that I'm building. I had to have them do several parts 4 times before it was even usable. They used duct tape to "plug" the fork openings in the motorcycle tripple clamp. It just made a huge sticky mess for me to clean up but the tape had covered sections that should be exposed. Now that I'm installing the parts i've had multiple locations where in just regular assembly (no hammers or force) the finish is flaking off. I can then just keep picking it with my fingernail. I also found that they had dropped my swingarm at somepoint before they powedercoated becuase the hole that my bearing needs to go in was clearly smashed in. Good luck to me getting a swingarm bearing back in a hole that isn't round anomore. There were also several times they told me my parts were ready and to come get them only for me to show up and the shop was closed with no one there. I did get a response when I texted but only to say they had left to go to another job, even when I had confirmed with them what time I would be there. Really bummed that I paid almost $400 for what ended up to be nothing but a hassle and a waste of time. read more

Poor communication and poor work quality. First off they have horrible communication. They hardly ever answer their phone, do not let you know when work is completed and don't communicate with each other what has been done and they don't meet the deadlines they set. I asked them to powder coat motorcycle levers and the work wasn't done right the first time, they forgot to sand down the ends as asked. The prep work was very poor. This was evident with all the uneven surfaces on the powder coat. Once they took them back to correct that, they again missed their deadline they set. They left the levers on the floor because one lever was scratched upon pick up. The employee seemed irritated this was brought up to them and he took the lever, sandblasted it and quickly put it in the oven for 10min where the powder coat didn't seem to cure. I would avoid this place as much as possible. They do not do quality work here. read more

Severed metal and the owner of Jake are great! Always answers his phone and really took the time to go over the questions I had about Powder Coating bicycle parts and some fabrication questions. It's that kind of customer service that makes me want to drive an hour away just for him to work on my personal items. I live in Hayward and there's plenty of Powder Coating and fabrication shops , In my area. However, I've visited this place since it's near my girlfriends house and we wanted to paint some of her BMX bike parts locally. Great place for powder coating. The guy who I worked with here is a great guy very nice. He explained the whole process of how they sand blast everything before powder coating which is good. All she did was hand this guy my business card and he created for us, with raw steel and talent, what we think is a masterpiece! It is so great that everyone who has seen even a picture of it is IMPRESSED! It is so breath-taking and well made every time I look at it I have to look 2 times. I had a metal chair leg fastener from a bar stool break off. Drop in without an appointment and my item was repaired as I waited, about 10 minutes.
