I had some drawings prepared for him to review and quote so he was able to quickly give us a price for a pair of wrought iron handrails for the front of our house. His family run the business so he was familiar with what they are capable of doing as well as catering to our design requirements. Armando was so gracious and knowledgeable it was refreshing to speak to someone who knows what they are doing. I felt very comfortable with him. Sadly we did not choose Neza as we did get a competitive bid from another fabricator which I also was very pleased with. When my original vision was too expensive, he worked with my budget to create a simpler design. But I love the final product! They convinced me to go for a painted finish versus powder coated, apparently powder coated rusts the whole rail more easily. The work is high quality, and they can customize your vision. Highly recommend & will work with them again! Three other metal work companies wasted my time with a lot of frustration trying to get quotes for about a month before I found Sanchez Iron Works and they worked out a quote quickly, so I'm very grateful for such a positive experience.

I requested a quote from IVS for a large fence project and it was a bit difficult to iron out the…read moredetails with IVS. Ignacio, who came for the site visit and identified himself as the owner, was very easy to communicate with both in person and over the phone. However, Jackie, (not clear to me if she's the co-owner or Ignacio's wife) finalizes pricing and pretty much runs the show. For our project, we had picked IVS to do the work, but the price kept increasing by thousands of dollars. I asked to speak with Ignacio since these changes were inconsistent with what I discussed with him and put them week above our other quotes, but Jackie said that's not necessary since she decides the pricing. They also charge tax on materials, which no other fencers do (since they're already paying tax to Home Depot, etc.). These business practices felt disingenuous to me and like bait and switch. I've had issues in the past with businesses like this that once the work begins they'll change order you again and ask for more money. So we did not use them. For this fence, we received multiple quotes. Two companies were in the $9-10K range and IVS was around $12K. All were licensed and bonded. We went with the lowest quote and are extremely happy with our fence.

ATR did a great job of fabricating and installing a new handrail after I had to replace front steps…read morethat were over 100 years old. The crew worked with me to make sure the handrail was at the right height and even installed an additional support bracket when I requested it. They had all the equipment to create a custom handrail on-site. When I approved the fabrication, they removed it, painted it, then re-installed it. The guys were super careful about not getting paint on my walls and left my property spotless. On top of doing a great job at a fair price, the crew and owner were really nice guys. Highly recommend!
