Friendly staff gave me tips on best eats in the area. Store was as expected with pillows, shirts, other knick knacks. Comparable prices with pottery barns but mainly Southern and coastal look. Shirts are Great for hot weather area or moderate temperature. People in the South are simply nicer or warmer with their gentille manners. They seem less stress and unhurried. Journeyed all the way from California with a dog and a kiddo to check this out! 2,481 mile roadtrip. Well worth the journey! Beautifully done store. Way better IN PERSON than what I saw when I followed on Instagram. (Obviously Instagram lured me in.) Very impressed. Maria was very kind at the checkout. After asking if this was all the inventory she said "um, yes, this it it"! Wow! We came expecting to spend $500-$1200. Made a special trip! Left with nothing!! Looked at sweatshirts and they only had I short pile. The material was VERY thin! For the price I left it, so did 2 other customers while we were there. The store front is cute and inviting. High quality, durable pillows and clothing, along with southern living items such as tumblers, aprons, linens etc..., price is moderately high but that is to be expected for the location and quality. For fans of Southern Charm this a good stop to add on your list! No Craig or Paige sightings unfortunately but the staff working were super friendly and patient with all of my questions. The store itself is fun, bright colored, and sells way more than just pillows. They sell various tee shirts and home goods, as well as Charleston, SC souvenirs. Prices are definitely reasonable and I was able to pick up a very cute onesie for our son and a koozie for one of my fellow Bravo super fans. LOVE Southern Charm so of course I had to check this place out while in Charleston. The 2 employees that were working were very friendly and easy to talk to. They asked where we were visiting from and seemed genuinely interested in their customers. The shop itself is so cute. There were a lot of apparel options (more than I was expecting!). I ended up getting one t-shirt and one sweatshirt. They wrapped the shirts in cute tissue paper and the bag is a reusable tote that I plan on reusing as a grocery bag!! I gave my cousin a hostess gift of a gift certificate to buy one of Craig's pillows. This happened in January of 2022. My cousin loved the pillow and put it on her lanai (she lives in Florida). She noticed that there were little black mold spots on the pillow case. She tried many different washing techniques and was unable to get the spots to go away. I was visiting her this week and she told me about it. I reached out to customer service, provided them with all the information they requested. Their first request was the order number, which I provided them which included the date. This is what they told me: It looks like these were purchased almost 2 years ago and would be out of the timeframe for us to replace them. We are happy to provide a 25% discount to her / you for a new order. Why didn't they tell me that when they saw the date? And if the product is defective, who cares how long ago it was ordered! Dog Collars, Koozies, lunch boxes, hats, sweatshirts, etc. The pillows were all pretty tropical / beachy but expensive as one would assume. When we planned our trip to Charleston and Myrtle Beach, one of the first things I said was, we HAVE to stop by Sewing Down South to support one of my favorite Bravo star's business. I assumed the place would be bursting with pillows; however, I was honestly shocked to see how minimalist it was. There were a few pillow but definitely not a variety. It was more of a theme as far as the pillow and the theme was nautical! I was excited to see T-shirts for purchase, except none in the size L, except for one style which wasn't for the person I was buying it for. The store consisted of a WALL OF PILLOWS for decoration, and a few items of everything else. I have to say, I was very disappointed as a fan that watched Craig Conover make his dream come true after being ridiculed for his passions; however, the store had barely any merchandise to buy!! A bit of a joke. I was in Charleston and wanted to check this place out. I got in a small line to get in. There was some pretty dressed-up girls in line...Charleston's finest. After a short wait, guys came out with wrist bands as apparently they were having a meet and greet event to meet Craig. However, I had to come back in an hour. I explained I just wanted to go in the store, but no dice. All seemed so bizarre...the decor and items in the store seemed cute from a distance. Love it! Exactly what I expected! Coastal decor with friendly service. The pillows are great for your beach house decor. There is also other odds and ends you can add to your home. I was excited to see the dog collar and leash, however right now they are trying them out and only had a blue/teal one. If it was pink I would have definitely bought one for my four legged baby girl. As Southern Charm fans, we were hoping to see Craig, but didn't. Sadly he posted on IG that he was there the next day. (Bummer) We purchased a few things and look forward to see what else comes out.
