    Completed Boxy Tote Class. Fun.

This is a friendly quilting store. I have had excellent machine service on my 3 Pfaff machines and Singer featherweight. Just finished a class making a Boxy Tote which will hold a featherweight. Rhonda the teacher was knowledgeable and patient. I have also had lessons on machine operation and embroidery from Vicki. She knows some simple tricks for operating the Pfaff Icon I so appreciated. I wished I lived closer because I commute from Berlin, Md to have this customer care and service.

Tried other local places without success and found Martin's online. Dylan answered the phone, let me know he had the part I needed, set it aside for me to come out this morning, and was friendly and helpful when I arrived. The kit including the fuse and thermostat was less expensive than just the fuse, go figure, but everything is genuine whirlpool. What a pleasant experience to find this gem of a store. Yeah, it's a bit of a drive but for friendly service, reasonable prices, and genuine parts, it's worth it.

Our landlord reached out to Martin's Appliance Service and Repair and scheduled an appointment for less than a week out from the time the issue started. I played an audio clip of the noise for Bradlyn when he arrived and he troubleshooted the issue for almost an hour and a half. He made sure to clean up after himself and we had great conversation about his experiences in the field while the machine was being tested. I cannot speak to the affordability of the service as our landlord was responsible for the payment, but based on our experience, we would not hesitate to reach out to this team if we have any appliance related issues in the future.

Their lead techs and installers, Bill and Tory, were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Jessica, my contact person, was always quick to get back to me with any questions I had. Their quoted price was comparable to the lowest prices quoted on residential solar installations per watt or kWh anywhere in the US according to my research online. Gettysburg Solar allowed me to do my own research and choose the exact brand and model of both solar panels and inverters that I wanted. This was after providing me their quote. They put no restrictions on my panel and inverter choices. I went with very well regarded panels and top of the line inverters. This did not affect my quoted price! My inverters (Sunny Boy 6.0) have a unique feature that allows a 110v AC outlet to be wired directly from each inverter. This outlet can be used to power lights, charge phones, run computers, etc during a power outage. In my arrangement, each inverters AC outlet can provide up to 2000 watts of power when the sun is shining and the grid is down. Adding these additional outlets to each inverter (4 total) required quite a bit of additional work and materials. This wasn't something that was included in my original quote either, yet Gettysburg Solar happily installed these additional features at no extra cost. Bill and Tory made several additional trips to my house to make adjustments to the set-up of these outlets and to make sure everything was functioning as intended. These additional trips were all on their own accord, not at my prompting. All of the work performed was top notch and tidy. I've owned my own businesses for over 20 years, and I've hired many contractors for many projects. Only a few have come as close to delivering as positive of an experience that Gettysburg Stove and Solar delivered. At every turn, the entire crew from Gettysburg Solar would go the additional mile to deliver even more than they promised. I contracted this project late in the year 2017. To insure I would be able to apply for the 30% Federal tax credit on solar installations on my 2017 taxes, Gettysburg Solar said they were confident they could have the system installed and ready to go before December 31st, 2017. I was a bit skeptical given the holidays and unpredictable winter weather, but sure enough, the system was up and ready at the end of December. So if you are thinking solar, there has never been a better time and I highly recommend giving Gettysburg Stove and Solar a call.

We performed startups for them on multiple projects and took care of the mechanical portion of the installations, they were not capable of doing this. After multiple installations, no payments had been made for our services despite Gettysburg Stove and Solar having been paid by their clients. After numerous attempts to collect, we were contacted by the owner, George. He indicated he was sorry but he simply didn't have the money to pay - which he was fully aware of before we had ever been contacted to assist in the first place. To date, we still have not been compensated by this company. I am writing this review to make others aware of the unprofessional business practices this company has exhibited in our experience, and to prevent other vendors and potential clients from making the mistake of doing business with them.

I had email and telephone exchanges with Jared and everything was set. Then on moving day THEY NEVER SHOWED UP! I received no phone call, no email, nothing! I called both the 888 number and 717 number and all I kept getting was voice mail. My boyfriend ended up moving all of my stuff in the rain with his open-bed truck. Thankfully, this was an in-town move and that none of my things were ruined. My 2-3 hour move turned into a 4 day and about 6 trips in his truck. I never even received a phone call after all my voice mail messages I received. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! MOVING MADE NONEXISTENT IS MORE LIKE IT!

Their prices seem reasonable but they will find at least one way rip you off, if not more. We hired these guys to help us move because their rate was very reasonable. NEVER AGAIN! They did an ok job of packing up our stuff but ignored our instructions on how certain things should and should NOT be lifted. They damaged our gas grill because of it. Then when the time came to drive to our new residence the movers TOTALLY IGNORED our directions and, although they left 15 minutes before we did, they conveniently (for them) managed to arrive at the house 40 minutes after us!!!! In the meantime, numerous calls to the cell phone number they provided went unanswered. When they finally arrived they were like, "Which way did you guys go???" We were fuming!!!! Next issue was with the piano....they broke the music stand off the top of the piano and then accused us of removing the stand before they arrived when we asked . It'll cost $150 to replace it. Billing......OF COURSE they charged us for extra time it took them to travel even though they ignored our directions. And when we question their billing it took us a week to get a real person on the phone and another week to get a call back. i'm telling you, these guys are scam artists. If i could give them a negative scoring I would. DO. NOT. HIRE. THEM!
