Gonna start this review by saying I am AMAZED. A close friend of mine recommended this salon to me after having gone to a different one for years now. She advised that I go in and ask for Hanna and WOW was she right. I called to ask for a full set and they were able to get me in within the hour. I arrived a bit early and waited no time at all before I was seated. I've been wanting chrome nails for awhile now and was hesitant to ask over the phone but I showed Hanna a picture and she informed me that she could definitely do it. She was professional, fast, and talented. My nails look exactly how I wanted them to and feel very sturdy on my fingers, aka they won't be popping off anytime soon. My set came out to $55 dollars which is WAY more affordable than my old salon and others I've been to. Couldn't be happier and will definitely be returning!! read more

I've gone here maybe 10 times before, and they do a pretty good job considering the price. A basic acrylic gel set with a coffin shape costs about 45 dollars, which i think is very affordable for a new set of nails. The set in the picture cost me 55, which is because of the letter D on both hands. A few of the workers could come off as rude, especially over the phone. Friendly service. No appointments and because the place is popular, that means long waits. I was willing to put in the time, to get the end results I wanted. I always left happy and very satisfied. For about five (5) years I have been doing my nails with the same person here, but slowly, my level of satisfaction with this salon started declining to the point where my last visit a few weeks ago, I decided would be my last. The last straw was when I pointed out to my regular guy that for the past couple of visits when I leave the salon my cuticles look a mess and that it detracts from the fact of just having had a manicure, his response: "Cut them off before you come in, or push them back when you get home, I have other people waiting and don't have time". HELLO, that is the purpose of paying to get my nails done, if I had the skill-set to do it myself, I would not be paying for the service. Which I told him, sans the "HELLO", telling him did not change the end result, it did impact my last tip. To be specific, your actual nails look great when you come here, but your cuticles, your fingers (glue, fragment of the white power or acrylic stuck to your fingers\hands) come out looking a mess because its seems that the only focus here is on applying acrylic, gels, nail designs, but no consideration or time is put into anything else. Its like you have to go elsewhere first for a regular manicure, then come here to get gel, acrylic, tips or whatever else it is you are looking for. For me that does not make sense. I used to go to this establishment to get my nails done and eyebrows waxed. Even when they had the salon on route 4 Fairlawn. Each any every employee has a nasty attitude and eventually the girl that did my nails quit. Today I went to get my eyebrows done and waited outside with a few others. They open at 10 and gracefully showed up at 10:30 with no apology to any of the customers waiting outside in a line since 10. And the other workers gradually walked in 15 mins later. I actually was there at 9:45 to make sure I was going to be in and out. I was the second one there. You would think that they would attend me secondly since I was second in line and only needed a 5 minute eye brow wax. The owner instructed the manicurist to do nails a 20 minute job prior to doing my eyebrows. When I asked why I was yelled at by the owner. I wanted to walk out but after waiting almost an hour for a 5 minute eyebrow wax I decided to stay. Avoid going to this place at all costs unless you want to get treated like shit and wait for hours. They do good work but it's not worth the disrespect. On another note: be careful getting pedicures here. Looks clean but a friend of mine got severe fungus on her nails from dirty utensils as told by her doctor. If u want to go to an awesome place where they massage you, hot stones, and treat you good go to Crystal Nails in Clifton on market. Owner is nice workers are respectful and pedicures are top of the line. read more

The place is pretty packed like a package of sardines, but for cheap prices how can I complain? A full acrylic with gel manicure is 30$ plus obviously 5-10$ tip but is it worth the money, maybe? The manicure isn't a real manicure, they don't cut your cuticles or make your nails cute and nice looking they just slap on the acrylic nails and you're done. When trying to talk and ask questions some of the workers will give attitude and some don't so I can't say the whole place is horrible, but it has its pros and cons. When coming here don't expect comfort this is more like a "last resort" place if you're low on cash and want a decent acrylic set. What I can say, and this is why this place is getting 3 stars, is that there nails stick on like glue I had them on for way longer than I should and never did they lift even after 4 weeks, so even though I wasn't pampered like a princess I would probably come back JUST for the extreme stability of there acrylics. read more

Never ever ever ever again !!!! My cousins manicure looked fantastic. The patterns on her nails were hand drawn and she referred me to go see Cindy. Cindy was great. I couldn't have been happier with my manicure. I watched her remove the clippers and cuticle removers from the sanitizing tray which was the first thing that out me at eeze. ..then came time for my pedicure. One of the other girls asked me to take a seat in one of the chairs that had just been used. ( I watched someone just finish up their pedicure in that chair). I hesitated to sit in the same chair but assumed she'd disinfect before she got started. SHE DIDNT! She expected me to place my feet Ito a bowl where someone just had their feet dissected. After I asked her to clean it she did and as soon as the cleaning was done she filled the bowl and reached for the clippers she had just used on the previous client. That was it. They do not sanitize anything and have the audacity to check Temperature at the door. They do not wipe down their stands and machines after each client, I watched them just sip their tools in water and use it on the next person.
