She burned my skin with the electric file instead of clipping my toe nails she used an electric file. She burned me multiple times and I asked her to stop 3x and she continued. Should of known right there she was a red flag. Then she pained my toe nails and used so much polish it's all bunched up at the cuticle. I contacted the salon and the service is just not good. Update to my review: Pains me to write this because I really liked this place. I had an appointment scheduled for a Saturday. The night before I started sneezing & had a runny nose but I thought it was just allergies & I didn't want to cancel because I didn't know when the next appointment would be. Well I had a horrible night & it was definitely not allergies. I couldn't even talk because of the cough & scratchy throat so I asked my husband to call & cancel early the next morning at 9, my appointment was at 1:30 I think - it was definitely in the late afternoon. The girl who answered the phone said oh she's sick? Like he was making it up. He said yes she's sick & she had the nerve to say a deposit would be required for my next appointment. I don't know who it was that answered so I don't want to point fingers but I assume it's either the woman who always worked the front or a younger girl that I saw on the weekends sometimes. I've been a customer of this place for almost two years. I never questioned prices, which changed from visit to visit. I never complained if I had to wait. I was rescheduled & never gave them a hard time. I showed my nail tech what I wanted & she ran with it, never once did I question her or complain about anything. She's great, my nails were always on point. Because I have to cancel due to a cold, I'm treated like a new customer? The only other time I canceled was when I had Covid. Did they want me to come in & be coughing & sneezing? It wasn't Sandy or her husband, I never had issues with them at all. I read the complaints from others but they were always nice with me. It's a shame because the place is beautiful & my nail tech is honestly the best one I've ever had & I've had tips for over 30 years. She had my number but she never text me either to see if I was dead or to say I hope you feel better. I guess they care only if you're giving them money. Went there end of July got a gel x set , unfortunately did not last as long I expected . Within the first 14 days two broke . Consulted owner and she offered to fix it but I was away on vacation for a month when it happened . I got another set done in Puerto Rico on August 19th and today September 23rd. I came for a simple manicure and my technician did a good job. I am happy with the manicure. I do have a few issues with the buisness itself which might make me not come back. 1. THE SMELL. I hope the owner has to sit in the same conditions as the nail ladies do daily, they should be ashamed. They NEED to invest in proper air purification systems. It was hard to sit through a 30 minute service honestly. 2. The guy in the front who probably answered my call. I could barley get a word in on the phone to ask a basic question prior to booking, he must have cut me off 5 times to the point where he thought we were having connection issues. 3. The technicians licenses were not hanging and visible. At least no where that I saw or by the technician working on my nails. 4. You should have a sign up front with your tech's zelle/venmo info so customers don't have to run back and forth. Or place one on each tech's station with their own barcode. Let me start by saying the ambiance is nice, but the wait time is too long, considering I had to pay a $40 deposit. I should've been taken on time. They had no one available for walk-in's so my parents had to wait at least a half an hour. The first time I had Erick. It was nice, but the lines on my French could've been straighter and the well (the curve) of my nail was too high because he pinched the plastic tip to achieve more height; I don't see why that was necessary. I was quoted one price, but you'll always walk out paying way more. Same with my second appointment. I told him there wasn't enough acrylic on my nail, he said it was okay contrary to what I believed. A week later, my acrylic is lifted and my chrome was so dull and chipped, but what can you expect when they're using cheap Shein products. I can clearly see on the label. I called back to express my complaints and asked could they fix it, but I was told it had been more that 5 days so I would have to pay to have it fixed. Never was I informed that they have such a policy. On top of all the mess, my toes were lumpy, and only certain nail techs let you pay on card. Sorry I won't be returning. Too dysfunctional for me. The first time I went and got a gel pedicure and it was great, stayed on for over a month till I could get back in with my really busy schedule. Second time I got a new set of acrylics and also a gel pedicure again. Within ONE day the gel polish bubbled under the first layer on the finger nails. I called and got it fixed. Now 4-5 days later all the nails are chipping and bubbling under the first layer again. Toes started doing the same thing. It hasn't even been 1 week since I got them done. Not worth the money. THREE WEEKS, no strenuous daily manual labor or anything, just using my hands normally. This salon boasts that their clients can go a month before a fill-in due to the quality of their nails. Let me assure you, you won't get that if Cleo is doing your set, but you sure will PAY FOR IT. Very disappointed and needing a quick fix, I decided to go somewhere local, after all, with such an impeccable solid foundation of a nail set, anyone would be able to work on top of this set. WRONGGG. I have since had to repair FIVE nails since April 5th, because the tips simply popped off. I have never had this manny issues with a FRESH SET OF NAILS in my life. The nails looked wonderful, but the woman who did my nails does not uphold the same quality standard that the their IG popular/famous owners boast of and promote. A nail salon that screams "hole in the wall". It's off a Main Street in Passaic and it has a medium size window with a white door. It's street/meter parking as well, but I did notice a small vertical parking spot that didn't have meters. When I walked in it looked pretty small, but really nice. Had a cute flower wall, with fur pillows and seats at the pedicure station, and the manicure table was a high table with high chairs that also had furry pillows. I enjoyed it! The music was good too. This was my first time ever coming here and I've been looking for a really good nail salon. When I had made a reservation they did ask for a $20 deposit just in case you decide to cancel last minute or pull a "no show", but since it was my first time coming they didn't make me put down a deposit. My manicurist I believe was named Anna. She didn't speak English, but luckily a manicurist next to me was able to help translate what I said to her which was very nice and helpful. I was looking to do an acrylic gel set which I had to pay $65 for because of an additional $10 for shape, gel, and design. She did an amaaaazing job! My biggest thing about getting manicures are cleaning up my cuticles and she did a wonderful job. No cuts or hurting me which was also a plus! She gave me EXACTLY what I wanted! Second time we visited this nail salon. The first visited it was perfect, we were served by Ana. She no longer work there. So we were served by Karol G. this time around. My girl asked for a certain design, and she completely ignored it and made her own design, nothing to do with the design we asked for. Then we asked not too short and we didnt want a square shape nail, she said not to worry and she would shape up at the end. as you can see the picture, the nail end up being short and squared. and the worst of all, 1 nail is shorter than the other. we mentioned it a couple of times and she again completely ignored. We traveled all the way from Brooklyn, to pay for tolls and the most expensive toll in the USA (Verrazano bridge) to get completely ignored. will think twice to make another trip here. read more

I came to Fiina Nails for the first time today, and I have only great things to say about my nail tech Anna. She spent so much time shaping and filing my nails and I really appreciate her attention to detail. She even picked out the PERFECT nail color for me on the first try, and I'm usually really picky. She also really cleaned up my cuticles, which a lot of places don't bother to do for some reason when you have tips. She was extremely thorough and didn't take shortcuts like many places do. My one con is that the owner seems to invent the prices as he goes. I was told a full set of acrylic was $55, then Anna encouraged me to spend an extra $10 for a better quality acrylic product, and I agreed. At the register, the owner came up with $80. Apparently they charge an extra $10 for "long nails." At $65, I think I should be able to have my nails as long as I want. Also, not sure where that extra $5 came from? He also informed me that next time there would be a $10-15 for the polish on top of my fill in...how can you charge extra for a part of a service that's not optional? I would love to come back here but the pricing system seems very sketchy and I can't spend $60 on a fill in before tip. If you decide to come here I would be extremely clear on what it is you have to pay for before you let anyone touch you. Again, my service was wonderful but be prepared to spend. read more

I arrived on time and ended up waiting over 4 hours to get my nails done. I didn't leave because I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to find someone else to take me at that time. My nails were mediocre for the price but I have to give her credit because they stayed on for 3 weeks. However, after being soaked off I realized that my real nails were destroyed. This place is the cutest coziest nail places in the area. As soon as you walk in your greeted by a friendly receptionist who confirms your appointment. I have been following this place for so long and decided to give it a try and boy I don't regret it! Mika was my nail tech and I was happy to be seen on time with barely no wait. She is so nice and friendly and makes sure she does exactly what you ask for. It was nice to look over and see great quality work from every tech there! (Good to know in case your tech isn't available) I did the hard gel and the nude matte look (I'm very simple when it comes to nails) Mika will try to push for long nails because it makes the shape you choose look really good however I chose semi long (or toooo short like Mika says lol) because I work on a computer all day and need to be able to manage my nails for pace so just let her know before she begins exactly what shape you want. Customer service is just as important, if not more important, as the quality of my nails and while Fiina provides great nails, from shape to design, their customer service is lacking, which is why I left. The shape and designs that come out of this shop are amazing - based on the IG pics anyway. I went here 5 times and was pleased with my design only once. My shape was always perfect but the designs, not so much. My nail tech was Mayra and I believe she was still training while I was her client. There were a couple of times that I wasn't please with my design but having been there for 2 hours, I just let it go. As long as the shape of the nail was to my liking, I could deal with not being 100% pleased with the design. Again, customer service is key. A few days before my fourth appointment, an appointment I made 3 weeks in advance, the owner called asking if he could change my appointment, didn't give me a reason why. I said sure and asked for a morning appointment. He gave me November 23rd, the day before Thanksgiving, at 3pm. I arrived on time but my tech wasn't ready. I waited about 20 minutes before I was assigned to another tech. They didn't seem to care that not only had they changed my original appointment but also that I had to wait once I arrived - kind of defeats the purpose of making an appointment. Nonetheless, when I left, I made my next 2 appointments, one for December 10th and one for December 31st. because I knew with holidays approaching, they would fill up fast. It came time for my December 31st appointment, an appointment I made six weeks prior. Starting December 1st, they had switched the scheduling procedure to an online format and as a customer, I was told that format was for appointments beginning January 1st. A few days before my appointment, I got a phone call from the owner again, telling me that he needed to change my appointment because they switched to the online format and someone booked my time slot online. I explained to him that I was told the online system was for appointments made from January 1st and after & also that considering I had made my appointment 6 weeks ago, that the person that booked online should be the one he reschedules. He would not budge, his only explanation was that they were using the new system now. The fact that I was an existing customer, that booked an appointment well in advance, meant nothing to him. I told him this was the second time he asked to reschedule my appointment and he still showed no concern or remorse. So, I told him to cancel my appointment and I haven't been back since. I expect to be treated respectfully and fairly, especially as a paying customer, I won't return here based on the poor customer service, nor will I recommend people to go here. But if all you care about is your nail design, go for it. read more

I've been there a handful of times and last time I was there I got a glitter ombre and used one of the pictures from the Instagram as a reference. The ombre that I got didn't look anything like the pictures that are promoted on the Instagram page there was no gradual change between colors and the glitter abruptly stopped with no fade. All right as the nail artist to take it off so I walked out with just neutral color nails. Another woman that left at the same time said that she was extremely disappointed in her nails as well and then told me that the pictures that are on the Instagram page are mostly all done by the owner or Eric who is also very good but are normally booked months out. It was just very disappointed to seeing such a gorgeous Instagram with all different techniques and styles but you aren't actually guaranteed quality like that's promoted on the Instagram page read more

First time they told me the woman is not taking new clients I'm thinking she is not a Obgyn why the f--k are you not taking new clients. It's not surgery it's Nails welcome all new clients. Best Nail Salon I've been too. I drive about 30 minutes away to get my nails done because you never find good quality nails anymore. This place is amazing. My sets last me 4-5 weeks. And the designs are amazing. I love love love my nails. I'm always getting compliments on Shape, Design, Colors, everything about my nails. My nail tech is Diana. I've been coming to this salon for over a year now. I came one day to get a nail repaired. They were 3 weeks old already and my appointment wasn't until 3 more weeks out. Gel came out ok, nothing special but when I asked for a special design (even prior to sitting getting my nails done) they said they didn't have time for that. I'm sorry? Ok... They charged me way more then needed to. Fill in cost $25 on the menu they have, tell me how everything came out to be $60 for me? Someone called me the day before to confirm and ask if I could come in early at 2pm instead-I said sure and confirmed several times with her that I should definitely be coming at 2. When I got there no one knew anything about me coming in early, and the girl I had an appointment with was half hour behind on top of that. I was there for over THREE HOURS!!!!!! I booked my appointment a month in advanced. No one apologized for the mix up or cared, and I feel like I got ripped off on my gems (25 extra for two nails). I got the hard/builder gel and the quality was admittedly very good, but I asked for matte and and it more so just looks like regular polish that went dull than that smooth matte look. These girls are really talented, but I can't bring myself to come back after all that (and i was dying for a new nail spot that can do designs closer than where I was going).
