We narrowed it down based on aesthetic and style, then interviewed our top picks. Jasmine stood out from the very first call. Talking to her felt like catching up with someone we'd known for a long time: warm, easy going, zero pretense. We were sold almost immediately. On shoot day, she showed up ready. Small stature, big presence with her camera, belt clip, and a little step stool that ended up being the MVP of the session. She moved us through two hours like a well-organized heist. We hit every great photo spot before the other couples and photographers could get there, shot what felt like 500+ photos, and somehow ended up with clean frames in a building that's constantly crawling with people. You were professional, courteous and punctual. The pictures you took of our wedding and surrounding events were beautiful. We received so many compliments from our guests when you posted our pictures online. But, that was over a year and a half ago and today, I have to rate you 2 stars because dealing with you over the prints and our photo album - which we finally have in our possession as of today - was one of the worst experiences I have had from our wedding. We paid for the album in full because we trusted you to do an excellent, timely job as you had shown leading up to and during our wedding weekend. That was mistake #1 on our part. Mistake #2 was being understanding and flexible with you when you were late in getting back to us and late finishing up the album. When we got our album back the first time in June, we were surprised that we were disappointed with about half of the prints. The images we had proofed and approved online did not look the same as what you printed. We tried to work something out, but you never agreed with us that the prints looked bad and therefore you didn't go out of your way to ensure that we were ultimately happy with the album for the price that we paid (which happened to cost more than your photography services!). So now we're left with an album of which half of the prints we don't like at all. At least we own the digital files at this point so we can print everything ourselves. Unfortunately, I won't be able to recommend your services because your follow-through with printing the album was less than professional. We hired you to do the complete job and while you did a great job the first half, you really disappointed us in the end.
