Jasmine went above and beyond for our surprise proposal: * planned every minute with us * took the best photos I could've possibly asked for * played an active acting role perfectly! She was super involved and it'd be an understatement to say we couldn't have done this without her. With Jasmine's integral role, the surprise went swimmingly, could not have wished for more -- always in the right place at the right time. I will *definitely be reaching out again to book more with Jasmine!
WOW, where do I even begin?! Let's start with the initial consult via video chat. My fiancé and I have never done a photoshoot before-- our proposal photos were taken by a stranger on top of a volcano on my iPhone lol. We didn't even take engagement photos, so we knew we had to do it right by getting the best wedding photos, and Jasmine was the perfect photographer for what we wanted. Our initial consult with her was so engaging, she made us feel at ease, described her process, and by the end of the call, we already had a good feeling she was the one. Even though I yelp everything I eat, I didn't think to yelp photographers lol -- I initially found Jasmine on IG, and immediately was drawn to her style of storytelling through photography. She does amazing flat lays, candid shots, portraits, action shots, and it was pretty amazing witnessing her in action on the day of. Initially meeting her in person was like meeting an old friend, she was so personable and sweet and I just felt at ease that our special day would be captured entirely that I was able to relax and enjoy my day. Her communication was very responsive, which helped play into this of course -- leading up to the day, she had us plan out the structure of our timeline and photographs which was immensely helpful. Jasmine and Justin were the elite combo - Justin had hand warmers ready and even made me an improvised bouquet during our portraits session and did his best to keep me warm while Karl the Fog decided to join us. Her directions for poses were clear, and her eye for details, her creativity were what makes her worth every penny. If you need a wedding photographer for your wedding day, your search is over, BOOK JASMINE! You won't regret it :)
Choosing Jasmine as our wedding photographer was undoubtedly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! From our very first video consultation, she walked us through her detailed photography process, explaining the variety of shots she typically captures -- from candid moments during getting ready and the ceremony to family portraits and reception highlights. Her thoughtful approach to every part of the day gave us great confidence that she would beautifully capture every meaningful moment. Throughout the planning process, her communication was outstanding. She was incredibly responsive, often replying to our emails the same day, sometimes within just a few hours. This level of attentiveness made us feel truly supported and helped alleviate much of the usual wedding stress. Together, we crafted a comprehensive shot list covering all the important family and friend groupings we wanted, and Jasmine ensured that nothing was missed on the big day. She captured amazing angles, including shots on the grand staircase with no one else in the background! Jasmine is such a delight to work with! Not sure if we're lucky, but we were able to book a session with her for our maternity photoshoot (just in time before I got too big!). It's very important to work with a photographer who is both talented and personable. Although this was our first time meeting, my husband and I felt very comfortable during the shoot. We definitely trusted Jasmine's direction, and she did not disappoint. Not only did we receive some sneak peeks the same night of the shoot, but she also delivered the final products earlier than expected! I highly recommend Jasmine for capturing your next milestone or special moment!
We are so thankful to have had Jasmine Lee as our photographer for our San Francisco City Hall wedding. She truly is a gem to work with!!! She's reliable, sweet, and amazing at what she does! From the moment we met her, she made us feel comfortable and at ease. My biggest worry was that I can get awkward with taking photos because I never know what to do with my hands.. Jasmine always gave us the perfect adjustments that made us look so naturally posed. It's amazing how Jasmine made it look like we were the only ones at City Hall even though it was so crowded and busy with others taking their photos. For our second location, we asked Jasmine for her opinion and her suggestion turned out to be exactly what we wanted. We even went on a small hike (which fit us perfectly because we LOVE to hike) to the most amazing secluded spot with gorgeous views and flowers everywhere. These photos were so intimate and they turned out beautifully!! Don't hesitate to book Jasmine! I promise you that you won't regret it!!!

We looked at many photographers on insta and websites and we had a few calls but then I found Jasmine on my friends Insta. After talking to her and seeing her work, we decided she was the one. Now I'm not one who likes to take pictures but Jasmine made it fun and easy. She guided us and let us take our liberties. We did two shoots with her and she went with our location and got some amazing photos. She listened to what we wanted and we couldn't be happier. She came back with the previews very quickly after each session. Would definitely recommend.
Jasmine is an amazing photographer , It's only appropriate she's my 800th review! Jasmine, christina and my wedding planner Justina are literally some of my favorite wedding vendors and would hire all three again in a heartbeat! I initially had been following jasmine for a while before I got engaged in 2018. A couple of my friends had previously used her for their weddings and engagement shoots and their photos looked so magical and pretty with all the natural lighting! When I started booking wedding vendors, jasmine was actually one of the first vendors I booked! She's super sweet and responsive to emails, never had an issue with anything! We had two engagement shoots with her during Covid and we also postponed our wedding an entire year, she was completely understanding and willing to work with us to retain her as a primary vendor! Even doing our engagement shoots we felt so at ease and we actually appreciated all the coaching she gave us on how to pose. We are complete noobs and have no clue how to pose. She's a god send and will give you tips on how to pose, how to do your first dip and everything in between! Also if she suggests places to take photos at a venue, trust her, those photos will be magic, we hiked up a vineyard hill and we got some amazing shots with the oak trees. We just got married and received some sneak peeks and so far we are in love with our wedding photos! We've been in love with our engagement photos so we only assumed that the wedding photos would be equally as great! If you are looking for a family shoot, engagement or even wedding photographer, jasmine is the perfect person! Also if you also book christina chen for hair and makeup, you have the best duo ever! If I ever do anymore family/ maternity shoots in the future, I will be booking both of them together!
I can't say enough about the incredible work Jasmine does. From the first interview with her, to the engagement shoot, promptly delivered sneak peeks (within 24 hours for engagement and wedding!), extraordinarily detailed agenda, and full suite of wedding photos- Jasmine has been nothing but a pleasure to work with and we are so pleased with her final products. Beyond her stunning portfolio, what makes Jasmine stand out as someone ideal to work with is her professionalism, calm demeanor and overall organization. She immediately put together a minute by minute schedule for the wedding day, one that was relied on by not only us, but our vendors- keeping everyone on the same page. Jasmine and her assistant Kara had such a calming presence and were able to guide us through poses and portraits with natural grace. The photos exceeded our need for any videography. That is how abundantly breathtaking Jasmine's work is. Jasmine is reliable; she collaborates extremely well with all parties. She engages with all of the vendors to create and communicate a successful vision. She establishes a strong sense of commitment for your wedding day and she will support you in any way possible! What differentiates her is also on a technical level. Her photography has many technical aspects that the average photographer cannot obtain unless you have spent the hours she has spent perfecting her craft. One of my family members is a professional photographer as well and very much was delighted with her photos. She also spends hours after your wedding meticulously editing many photos. She is extremely gifted and was able to capture intangible things that are very difficult. She was able to capture familial love and an experience so vivid even some of our own family who could not attend felt like there were there. Some of our family spent hours every weekend just looking at the photos extremely moved. Jasmine helped them see that they are now a part of one of the most beautiful events of a lifetime. Finding your SF City Hall wedding photographer is overwhelming since there are literally hundreds of them on Instagram alone. Kelsey and I spent weeks at it. We narrowed it down based on aesthetic and style, then interviewed our top picks. Jasmine stood out from the very first call. Talking to her felt like catching up with someone we'd known for a long time: warm, easy going, zero pretense. We were sold almost immediately. On shoot day, she showed up ready. Small stature, big presence with her camera, belt clip, and a little step stool that ended up being the MVP of the session. She moved us through two hours like a well-organized heist. We hit every great photo spot before the other couples and photographers could get there, shot what felt like 500+ photos, and somehow ended up with clean frames in a building that's constantly crawling with people. The organization alone was worth it. Her directions were clear, her energy was calm and confident the whole time, and the final photos delivered on everything we hoped for. Jasmine is hands down the best. My fiancé had recommended her because he had gone to elementary school with her and noticed via Facebook that she was doing photography professionally. He showed me her website and I instantly fell in love with her work. From the beginning when I had initially reached out to her, she has been so professional and attentive! I would email her in the morning and she would reply back within that same day. It's difficult to find this type of attentiveness these days! And I know how many clients she has every week, but she definitely makes you feel like you're the one and only client she has. My fiancé and I were so lucky that the weekend in August we were flying up to San Francisco, she was still available. I was so excited to work with her! She even followed up throughout the time in between to email us asking for what themes we were thinking and was very supportive in any idea that we pitched to her. On the day of the engagement photo session, she was very warm and open. My fiance and I had no idea what different poses we could do and are a little shy when it comes to having someone just take photos of us. Her warm personality made us comfortable. She would suggest us doing some action shots and it worked out in our benefit. She even taught us how to do our first dip too! After the shoot was over, I thought it would take another month until we received the photos, but within less than 2 weeks (during the crazy summer wedding season), she gave us our digital album! This review for Jasmine is well overdue! I had been following Jasmine on IG long before I knew I was going to be married. Her photos always really spoke to me and I told myself that if I ever got the chance to book her, I would. In 2019, my (now) husband and I got engaged and immediately I knew I had to contact Jasmine, of course I had to show my husband other photographers too (he is the type that needs to see a few options and prices first) but he also felt that Jasmine was the best! So we went ahead and booked Jasmine for our wedding in October 2020. Fast forward to 2020. The year the pandemic hit the world. We knew in April of 2020 that our wedding would have to be moved, there was no way the pandemic was going to be over. We contacted Jasmine and she was immediately responsive, empathetic and agreed to accommodate our change in wedding date, October 2021 an entire year after our original date. Throughout the time we booked Jasmine to the time of our wedding, Jasmine constantly checked in on us and double checked to make sure we were doing ok with everything going on. She helped nudge/remind us to book our pre-wedding/engagement photos (because I kept forgetting/timing was not working for us), and even reminding us on where we should be in wedding planning. Side note: When we DID finally take our pre wedding photos with Jasmine, I was incredibly nervous on how I would look in photos. I am going to be the first to admit that I am NOT photogenic and am already incredibly awkward in photos. When Jasmine sent us our photos after, I was SO BLOWN AWAY! I knew then, we absolutely made the right decision in booking her. Ok back to our actual wedding! Jasmine helped us with our timeline for the day, and we were able to correlate hers and our wedding venues together. On the actual day, Jasmine made not just myself and husband feel super comfortable in front of the camera, but all our family members and bridal party too. She has an incredible eye for detail and will help with posing/styling etc. We absolutely LOVE our wedding photos and we honestly could not have booked a better photographer. To sum up: Jasmine is thoughtful with the way she approaches everything and is an incredibly talented photographer. Jasmine's style is classic and timeless. When my fiance and I decided to elope in Fiji, we were encountered with the difficult decision of choosing a local photographer for our wedding. It all felt like a gamble -- who to chose? how would I know what time package would be enough? do I know if it's worth it? So many questions! Then I thought, what if I could bring a photographer with me? After having followed Jasmine's Instagram, blog and Snapchat, I have been a huge fan of her work for quite some time now. She also came highly recommended from family who hired her in the past. I decided to inquire about having her come to Fiji. Luck for me, contacting her about a year ahead of time was enough to secure her. She flew out and did an AMAZING job. We did an engagement style shoot in the Sigatoka Sand Dunes which was challenging to say the least. The trails were easy enough, but with the sand and intense winds, we definitely had a tough time. Yet despite mother nature's challenges, the pictures she captured were absolutely MAGICAL. She was so professional throughout the entire experience (even with sand blowing on her equipment and having to be patient with my hair and dress fighting the wind). The next day was our wedding. Prior to leaving for Fiji, we were in correspondence developing a timeline for photography which helped make the day flow seamlessly. She captured beautiful details, candid moments, and the essential wedding day shots. I couldn't be happier with her dedication to her craft and approach to photographing my husband and me. Going into wedding planning, one of the things we knew we were going to INVEST in, was photography. As we were getting married on what was projected to be the busiest day for weddings in 2018, we got started 12+ months in advance to research photographers. And Jasmine Lee's body of work, professionalism, and work ethic made her our #1 choice by far. What we considered a priority: -General tone of photos (romantic, soft, natural) -Style of photography (photojournalistic, aside from portraits of course) -Reliability in turnaround (heard too many horror stories of waiting months and months for photos) -Flexible packages with a la carte options -Personality fit Jasmine is super prolific on social media, which allows you to get a solid feel of the types of photos she takes. And it sure made a lot of our research a breeze. All of her photos were gorgeous and in line with what we wanted for our wedding. As an added benefit, she had photographed at our venue previously and was familiar with the possible shooting locations, a huge plus. We booked Jasmine for our engagement shoot as well as our wedding day, which allowed us to get a feel for how Jasmine works. We were shooting at City Hall in San Francisco, which is a super popular location and her extensive experience showed. She was familiar with all the nooks and crannies and we got some great shots away from where the rest of the crowds were concentrated. Additionally, she took care to creatively frame us so that we didn't have people in the background of the giant stairwell - a difficult feat considering how many people had photoshoots going on. On our wedding day, whenever we weren't doing direct portraits, I probably couldn't even tell you where Jasmine was. That's how well she blended in! It made for some gorgeous candid photos of us and our guests during the ceremony and reception. I also love how she wasn't afraid to take charge and make recommendations. For example, we had scheduled some sunset photos for after dinner, but the light was hitting just right during cocktail hour and Jasmine recommended we sneak away to get some more portraits done. I'm glad we did as those photos are among some of my favorites from the day! Her direction and experience was much appreciated. And not only is she a gifted photographer, Jasmine is very communicative over email, forthcoming about her availability as she travels for shoots as well, and is super considerate. She even sent us a care package with a magazine, facemasks, candles, candy, and vendor recommendations. We even used the box it came in during the wedding! You know what they say about wedding vendors - the photographer and caterer are the most critical, and whew am I glad we chose Jasmine as our photographer. This is such a late post, but I know in my heart that even if writing is a very intimidating thing to do for me, I must write this review for Jasmine because she deserves all the praises in the world! So my husband & I decided to have a one year anniversary shoot at San Francisco City Hall and we knew we must get Jasmine. What do I love about her? Number one, she's TALENTED and so well-rounded with her skills. I love how she can capture gorgeous portraits for her couples, but also amazing with landscape shots, and to top it off, she takes beautiful detail shots which show the rings, the invitation, your perfume bottle, meaningful keepsakes, and your pretty shoes! For me, those details tell a story about the special day and about the couple. Industry professionals call those detail shots "flat lay." They take some great skill & time to arrange artistically by the photographer, with extra props (Jasmine brought with her for us) such as the nice board, the expensive ring holder, some extra tulle/fabrics, and light m/reflector etc... It's not something that can be thrown together carelessly. That day, Jasmine took her utmost care just to do those detail shots for me. On my wedding day, as it was a destination wedding, we did not have certain details and things ran late regretfully, so these shots were what I wished to have had. Jasmine listened & gave me exactly what I wanted! I love her so much! Another thing I really love about Jasmine is that she would make her subject feel beautiful and comfortable and she would care about how your wedding gown lays or how your bouquet is being held. She would come and fluff my dress often. She made sure the dress is not all crunched up at the bottom and making a shortie bride like me shorter. LOL Because I could tell how much she cares about the details, I was being so carefree and just smile a lot throughout, without a worry. And not only for shoots, but for the wedding day, Jasmine will also fluff the dress for her brides! Can you believe it the amount of perfection & care this talented photographer is giving? I'm just in awe. Lastly, but most importantly, she's so thorough with directions and what she would need from us and encourage us to let her know what we would need from her too. We shot at 2 locations, City Hall (inside and out) and then we had lunch together, then took a break, and met again at Bakers Beach because my husband really wanted some photos with the beautiful Golden Gate in the backdrop. It was so cold and windy at the beach but Jasmine was totally energetic & jolly all along. Anyhow, it was a really long day and I couldn't have imagined working with anyone else more wonderful! If you're looking for an AMAZING photographer that is kind and cares so deeply to make sure you get the photos of your dreams, you found her! Jasmine is literally so kind. I honestly think the best decision we made for our wedding was hiring Jasmine as our photographer. Before booking, Jasmine wanted to meet us via google meets to get to know each other before we made the decision of booking her. She asked for our love story and what we hope out of our wedding photos, and boy did she hit it right on the nail! She did an amazing job getting us photos we will cherish forever. She also told us her thoughts on having a first look (we were against it at first), and we decided to take her advice. Our first look was my favorite part of the entire wedding! A few days after our wedding, she gave us our sneak peeks, it was the PERFECT amount to keep us satisfied until we got the rest and of course they did not disappoint. We immediately printed out photos for our living room and printed out family portraits for each of our parents. My roommates joked that I had an unhealthy infatuation with Jasmine Lee. This is only partially true. What I would do all the time is rave about how amazing she was even before she had done any of my engagement or wedding shots. I am completely in love with her work and admire the amazing shots she is able to capture. Week after week my Facebook feed would populate all her amazing candid nature shots and I was hooked. I knew I had to have her as my wedding photographer at whatever cost. Disclaimer, she did cost way above our budget and we totally went over, but my husband thankfully allowed me to have her as our photographer and she was worth EVERY penny spent. She is very professional, easy to work with, and very organized. For our engagement shots, we told her where we wanted to shoot at and she got to the area a lot earlier to "scout" out good places to go. My husband and I are not very good at coming up with candid poses or any poses for that matter, but Jasmine was good with giving us clear instructions and demonstrations of what to do to get the best and most natural shots. The engagement session flew by because we had so much fun and the sneak peeks and digital photos that followed came out pretty fast after that date. Prior to the wedding, Jasmine sent out a off of questions and helped me craft out a timeline which I was able to build upon for the wedding. What a gem right?!? We also sent a number of emails back and forth in which she was able to promptly email back in a timely manner. During the day of the wedding she arrive over an hour earlier to once again scout out shots for us and to familiarize herself with the area. Sadly that morning it was quite rainy and cold, but there she was cool as a cucumber in her poncho. After doing so she kept to the timeline and started getting all her shots. She was incredibly professional to all the vendors from the florist, to the church wedding coordinator and to my make-up artist and bridal party too. Throughout the day she kept us on track and schedule. She was so ninja with all her candid church and reception shots that we would have never noticed her taking any of the shots. As you can probably tell, I loved working with her and she is such a gem. I cannot highly recommend her enough. Don't let price point dissuade you like it almost did for me, she is totally worth it and then some. The photos came out fabulous and I would totally hire her again! read more

As you can tell from all of the other reviews, Jasmine is hands down amazing. After weeks of pinning and researching wedding photographers, I noticed I kept coming across these pictures with natural looking couples (not posed, overly cheesy) with beautiful golden light -- and they all led back to Jasmine. After our first meeting, I knew it was definitely a good match. Jasmine takes the time to learn about you and she seems to genuinely care about your story. Jasmine was the photographer for both our engagement and wedding photos. I'm extremely impressed with her professional demeanor, her ability to reign in rowdy family and friends for group pictures, and her eye for light. read more

Where do I start? First things first, this review is way over due considering my fiancé and I had our engagement shoot at the end of August and I am barely just writing the review. Secondly, we couldn't of ask for a better experience with this amazingly talented photographer. I found jasmine while doing a google search and after weeding out several other photographers my fiancé and I choose to go with her. I emailed her right away and heard back from her within 24 hours. She was super helpful, quick to respond, and had competitive rates. Because my fiancé is in the Marines and was getting ready to deploy within a few months we had very little time to book a photographer. After a phone consultation with Jasmine we immediately knew that she was perfect for us. Talk about the sweetest person you will ever meet! We where very excited about the engagement shoot but I felt apprehensive considering I have never in my whole life stood in front of a camera. That feeling didn't last long though! Jasmine was so great and professional. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and had us do so many great poses. She was very attentive to detail, recommending feet and hand placement, where we should keep our eyes, how to smile, etc. etc. Not only did she make us feel great but we also had so much fun! She was really able to capture the love, emotion, and happiness of being an engaged couple. We certainly left the shoot smiling. Probably the best part about the whole experience was how fast she was able to turn around all the photos. My fiancé was scheduled to deploy a week and a half after the shoot so we really hoped that we would be able to see some of the pictures together when they where finally ready. Because Jasmine took our situation into consideration she was able to turn around the pictures not just quickly, but in 2 days! I cannot even express how happy we where with the pictures. We got over 200 pictures and every single one was perfect! She took many classic, beautiful portraits and also took some beautiful creative and unique shots (which are my favorites). I simply cannot put into words how perfect all the pictures turned out, you simply must see them with your own eyes. I would recommend Jasmine to all my friends and family (who where extremely impressed) and also to any stranger. My husband and I were expecting our first baby and wanted to have memories of our journey. We decided to have maternity photos taken. We were so excited to have found Jasmine. Her photos on the website were amazing! We had no doubt that she would be able to capture these precious moments for us. Jasmine is quick with email replies and super easy to work with. She is soooooo sweet and friendly. We wanted to include our fury four-legged dawghter in our photos. Jasmine was really patient because our dawghter was distracted by other things happening around us. Our photos came out better than we imagined. She captured everything and more. Long overdue review! Jasmine was highly recommended to us by our wedding planner, Frances from Charmed Events, and we are so glad that we listened to Frances!! Prior to our engagement shoot, we received a care package from her with engagement session tidbits, a BRIDE magazine, water, tote bag as well as a handwritten card from her. So thoughtful! We immediately knew we were in good hands with Jasmine :) Jasmine's passion for her couples, professionalism and delivery time exceeded our expectations! She was everything we were looking for in a photographer, and more. Jasmine's work is incredible -- she is able to capture the warmth and softness of each couple, and at the same time, she is able to beautifully capture "in the moment" emotions, with a touch of nostalgia. Jasmine is understanding and truly cares about her clients! Initially our engagement session was scheduled to be at the end of October, but due to the rain, Jasmine allowed us to postpone our e-session until early November- which worked out because that day the weather was warm and perfect for our outdoor shoot at Pier 7! Jasmine is not only one of the most easy-going, sweetest and friendliest people we've ever worked with, but she delivers in amazing time frames! Shortly a week after we took our engagement photos, my husband (at the time, fiancé) and Jasmine together surprised me on our 2 year anniversary with some photos from our engagement shoot! Also, shortly after our wedding, Jasmine not only shared sneak peaks with us, but also created a short video and gave us the rest of our wedding photos a month after our wedding!! Usually we hear that couples don't get their wedding photos until months and months later... so we were so thrilled and blessed that Jasmine always went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with our photos!! We are so grateful and honored to have Jasmine as our photographer and highly recommend her! Will definitely be seeking her out for future photo sessions.
