The bug wash, vacuums, and mat wash are convenient. I like the microfiber towels, I use them for everything!

Sgt. Clean is really Sgt. Dirty. Ever since they took over the car washes in Westlake, the quality of the washes has marched away double-time. Went this weekend to get my car washed, spent $27 for their highest wash level. When I got out to vacuum my car, I noticed the windshield still had bird poop as well as the front of the car had bird poop. When I went the staff to mention this, they said "that must've just happened". In the 100 feet from the end of the car wash exit to the vacuums, it must've just happened. It used to be the old place took and sprayed and scrubbed the front to make sure the hardest hit area from bugs and stuff. Nope, not anymore. I don't recommend their car washes. read more

This was a nice car wash! Cleveland weather means it's been a different season every day and my car is very unhappy with me. I don't visit car washes super often with all the Cleveland construction kicking up dust on my car, but it was time. This car wash was lightening fast. The attendant was genuinely very cheerful and didn't try to upsell me on a membership. It can sometimes be so awkward when you're trying to tell the attendant you're not from the area and have zero use of the membership, yet they still push. They did NOT do this here. Nothing special. Overpriced, like waaaay overpriced and service isn't much. The cheapest wash is 11 bucks. They try to sell you on a 50 dollar unlimited package. I did the single wash for 19, thd Silver wash. This would include wheel cleaner, pre conditioner, rust inhibitor underbody wash and dry n shine. There are no guys at the end to dry off the water beads, the car was left seriously dirty in spots. Not worth it at all. There's a place down the street near Clague rd named Blue Falls which is much better. read more

The car wash is very efficient in getting patrons in and out. The employees are helpful and very friendly. There is an à la cart wash menu for individuals who want to just do a single visit, as well as various levels of monthly subscription. Recently they install do you vacuums for patrons use. read more

Consistent solid service and they always seem to be improving the wash and drying mechanisms. They recently replaced their 3 self-wash bays with a dozen or so free high-powered vacuums as well as compressed air for extra detailing/drying on either the inside or exterior of your vehicle. I've had the monthly subscription for a few years and likely get my car washed 20-25 times a month. Car always looks great. Drying is not always 100 but one can't expect it to be perfect. Buy a chamois or use the compressed air to blow off any excess water in and around your mirrors, fuel door, etc. They have 3 levels of monthly subscription and I'd recommend the full service as it includes tire shine and ceramic spray wax. read more

Sgt. Clean bought the Westlake location from a prior owner. Sgt. Clean stripped it down and it's now mediocre at best. The wash is just ok and the dryers are below average. When I leave, the water from the mirrors leaves spots all over the doors. The vacuums don't work well; some don't work at all, occasionally the hoses are missing pieces, not attached to the vacuum and the suction is terrible on several vacuums. It's too bad since the prior owner had great vacuums and you could purchase cleaners from vending machines attached to the building. They also had soap that smelled great and made the car smell and feel clean and fresh. read more

They offer the most bang for your buck when it comes to a car wash with several options to choose from--they even do a monthly pass, which is a really cool concept, I just don't live close enough to take advantage of it. This is the only place I will wash my vehicle. It's nice and clean. They offer 3 self wash bays, and also have an automatic car wash bay for those that don't want to do it themselves. What really separates this car wash from others is that they have one of the best auto detailing centers in the CLE area. With that, and the fact that it's in an affluent neighborhood, you won't find garbage all over the place from other people who "cleaned" their cars and missed the trash can. The staff on hand is very friendly and helpful, and will go out of their way to make sure that their equipment is functioning properly. Oh, and most importantly the change machines actually work. I went to the car wash in Parma. the wash was good but I was mislead to doenload something to enter a raffle. I was told to scan a code then I was to take a survey. I was NEVER told it was a raffle. I have been misled by the manager once before. I am going to cancel any more subscriptions I have with them. This was the only one with positive reviews. I bought a new car this year and I want to keep her nice and clean especially in the winter with all of the salt on the road, no rust for me please! I took Pearl to Sgt's around 7pm on a weekday. I was a little confused at first if I was going in the right lane, but I figured it out. The young man waiting outside answered my questions and helped me with picking the level of car wash I needed. They take credit cards which is nice since I don't carry much cash on me. I decided to go with the Gold $15 to get the salt under my car taken care of, but they do offer a basic wash at $9. They also have monthly plans starting at $15 where you can take your car in as many times as you like. My car came out so pretty, just like the day I bought her! Terrible customer service. Before I went through the car wash I asked the attendant to please have them take extra care of the front of my car as we had been on a trip and had lots of bugs. Attendant said "we spray and they'll come off". After going through, I looked and saw there were still lots of bugs. Went around to the beginning and let the same attendant know the bugs were still there. He said "we suggest you use the bug prep before going through" while pointing to a bucket with a brush inside it over in the parking lot. 1. I wasn't I told this the first time when I asked them to take extra care of the bugs. 2. Really? I have to scrub the front of my car myself when I'm paying to have my car washed? 3. I asked the attendant if he would use the bug prep for me. (I wasn't dressed to wash a car). He pointed to the bucket and said I was welcomed to use the bug prep. He made no effort to be helpful in that regard. After he went to the office, they waved me on to enter the car wash, the second attendant sprayed my windshield. I opened my window, said I could go somewhere else and he said "ok go ahead". I said really? You don't care about keeping my business? He shrugged his shoulders. Then the assistant manager came out because he figured out there was a problem and asked If I was in neutral because the second attendant had already pushed the button to push my car through. Because I had my foot on the brake, the car didn't move. The assistant manager asked what was wrong. I explained the bug situation , the second attendant's attitude was awful and didn't care if I went somewhere else. He said he would make a note of it. How about cleaning the bugs off my car???? They don't care about keeping customers. I've been to lots of car washes that will brush the front of the car and spend more than a few seconds "spraying". Sergeant's "owned and operated by veterans" sounds great but my experience was lacking effort other than a light spray to the front of my car and windshield. I still have bug goo on the front of my car after two runs through their wash. All they needed to do to keep my business was to get the bugs off my car with no attitude. read more

I almost never leave reviews but I felt compelled in this case, as the former operators were significantly better. I don't know what Sgt Clean changed in their drive thru wash, but in the two times I've been here, my car comes out with significant chemical streaks down the doors and fenders. Called last minute to get an interior vacuum, window and mirror clearning, and mat clearning. I spoke with Jeremy. He got me in 1.5 hours later to quickly and efficiently clean my car in the detail center and remembered everything I had said to him over the phone. He did such a fantastic job, he went above and beyond the requests I made and was so kind holding doors and offering to help. He also found a ring I have been missing for over 8 years that was lost in a small hole somewhere in the car. I also got their express basic car wash and it's looking good as new. This has to be the best full service and self serve car wash in Northern Ohio. They also have a pretty nice detailing shop in the back. I can't say this about other car washes in the area, all the soap and wax actually works and get dispensed at an enormous rate. The vacuums here really suck, they got all the dirt out of my car and the nozzle never came undone from the hose. This is the only place I wash my car when I don't do it at home. read more

In the past, this was our favorite car wash places on the West side, in part because of their formerly strict "no rust" policy, where they would not let cars through with rust that could potentially flake off and damage other cars. At $16 a pop for the top drive thru wash, we expect an elevated standard to go along with the elevated price. Today, the car in front of us had rust on several places, and the staff still allowed it through, even after we had alerted them to the issue. It's disappointing that they have relinquished their attention to detail to make a quick buck, so we will not be back. There's a place down the street that does $5 washes that will also take anybody, so if the express detail center is not going to have standards, we'll risk it at the $5 place. read more

I have been using the #1 Express CAR Wash and Detail center for over 10 years now. I run 2 of my black cars through the car wash tunnel and are always pleased with the results at a fair price. I am a bigger fan of their detail center. I have had great experiences with their detailing and attention to details that most of their competition overlooks. Wow. Wow. Wow! I came here on the referral of a friend who has brought her car here for a basic interior cleaning. The cost of $19.99 (+$5 fur SUV trunks) is super reasonable. The guys working at this location were really friendly. I wasn't sure what to expect as my car was pretty messy (hello animal rescuer! Can't pick only dogs that don't shed!) but my goodness the staff at Sgt Clean blew my expectations out of the water! Never would I have thought my car would look and feel this good! #1 Express is a great car wash, the best I've ever been to. I've been going to the car wash for years. Even when they're busy, they move you thru quickly and do a great job. I just had a complete detail for the first time from them last month. I'll never let the dealer do it again. What a difference! They aren't the cheapest detailers but well worth it.
