NOPE NO NOPE Came in on Sunday, 3 Birthday parties at the same time what a mess, overcrowded and completely unsafe. 60 dollars for like 3 games about 5 minutes long. Place was disgusting, THE TOILETS reeked and you can smell it down the hall, there's 1 toilet per gender so you can imagine how much it gets used. It's completely unsafe, the place was so understaffed they didn't even check waivers or people's gears. Some people were using guns with a PSI rating wayy too strong for what gear they give to the public. Clearly the owners are greedy, the prices are crazy it's almost 3 times what you pay for outside for paint balls and bear in mind they get supply shipments for it. But holy hell, of course their buisness comes from parties so why even try to make the prices even remotely believable. The Paint ball arena was fine, if you're a rookie be ready to be so dirty you throw away your shoes at the end of the day. Some places were very slippery and steep even though we are signed up for it we saw two people break their ankles that day. Overall, It's cheaper to buy your own gear and have a paintball party at someone's back yard than to ever plan a party bere. Absolute bonkers. read more

Don't you love getting shot with paint? Do you love pain? Then this is the place for you! Great location, easy to get to and knowledgeable staff. Although paintball is a pretty expensive hobby, they do have coupons and Groupons online to make your experience a little bit more fun. They have a wide variety of games like Zombies, King of the Hill, CTF and generic elimination. The terrain is great for paintball (sand with a lot of structures and obstacles to roam around). Only problem is that it's indoors, which can get incredibly sweaty which may cause your mask to fog up, which is always fun being blind while getting shot. read more

Good Facilities, horrible HORRIBLE staff. I went there with 8 friends not expecting much, but the staff were pretty much revolting. One of them kept dropping extremely discriminative jokes, making fun of Jews etc because the majority of my group were Arab, and he thought we would find it funny. He then went ahead and tried to overcharge us because he knew it was our first time. After we were done, one of my friends was complaining about the mask she got because it was too scratched, the guy she was talking to looked at me and said "tell her I don't allow women to speak to me that way" that was the tipping point. Would not recommend. Don't know if its always like that, or because we went there 11pm on a Saturday, but I'm definitely never going there again. read more

Man Down! As my blurred vision fades to blackness, the memories of my past comes back... ....... I see myself entering the soggy painted sand field of war. 6 of my friends 3 of whom defect to the other side prior to battle. As we bunker down in 2 storey buildings, wooden barrels, vehicles. Heartbeats intensify when enemy insurgence approaches midway. We return cover fire to claim better strategic placement but... We were too late as paint splatters all across the battlefield. As I look across to see my fellow paintballers walk out in shame. Defeat. ---------------- Half Price Mondays was a popular day where we saw plenty of Players. Staff were great with us as we requested a couple PRIVATE games even when there were plenty of other groups waiting for their turn. Thank you! It can get hectic around the staff when every group awaits their turn to pay or request items. Make sure you know what you need so you don't have to make so many trips back to the counter where you might wait indefinitely and waste valuable game time. 3.5'd All the other Players were quite welcoming when it came to the open-game where the staff splits the teams. By no means did the upgraded Tippmann 98/BT Guns any match with those that came with their own weapon-of-choice but it was still enjoyable. Tip: Yeah, wear dirty shoes if not dirty everything. Secondly, if you want to further CAMOUFLAGE. Roll around on the muddy painted sand until you're covered. There's a funnel attached to a table to help you refill ammo. read more

I must start by saying that I am by no means an avid paintballer (is that the right term?). I went to Sgt Splatter's for a corporate event, and basically used all the equipment that was included with the bundle. In terms of the price, the whole experience cost us under $50 each, which I suppose is a good deal. The indoor terrain has enough levels and barriers to make for an interesting game, and the paintball guns provided were in decent shape. I wasn't a huge fan of the masks and overalls as I thought they could be a lot cleaner. In fact, I should say that I could really only see from one side of the mask, which would explain why I always got blindsided ! The long wait time in between games were also particularly annoying though I'm not sure how exactly this could be addressed. Overall, I had a good time, but don't really see myself organizing a trip to this spot in the near future. read more

Horribly enforced safety rules - some guys were shooting paintballs on the parking lot! without wearing masks and my friend and I standing 15 ft away from them. Staff and players not wearing gun bags on their markers while walking in a non-playing area. Half the guns barely work! Rules of the games were poorly explained. Don't bring your kids here for a birthday party - they will just have a bad bad time. The only reason this place gets 2 stars is because the playing ground itself is not bad. Someone should just fire every staff and hire a brand new team. Seriously, Sunday afternoon completely wasted on this sorry excuse for a paintball field. read more

We had a TON of fun, but there was a lot to be desired at this spot. Checking in/paying: You go talk to the guy and you get some waivers to fill out, then you go back to that guy and pay for yourself/your party. Seems redundant, as there can be a line up sometimes. Maybe just have the waivers and a big sign at the door? Equipment: I'm by no means an expert in this. I upgraded to the nicer gun and was pretty happy with its performance. My friends all rented jump suits, which is a good idea to have, since the entire place is coated in paint. The suits came in a variety of sizes, from the very small to the very tall. The price for extra paint balls seemed kind of steep. The play: The people introducing the games were very young (early teens) who had a hard time getting the crowd to pay attention. For one thing, they weren't wearing a uniform or anything, and they looked just like everyone else (who were also mostly 14-year old boys), except they weren't carrying guns. So you didn't even KNOW you were supposed to pay attention to them. We just basically stood around the area until an exasperated kid said "I'm not going to start until everyone's listening" in a tone that suggested that he had been trying to get our attention for quite some time. Which was not the case. This issue could have been solved by a megaphone. We're in a warehouse full of sand. Voices do NOT travel. That's the other problem we had. When the games ended, they gave a 1-minute warning, but unless you were right beside the guy, you couldn't hear him yelling. An air horn, or that super loud beeping you get from a megaphone would have done nicely. Hell, even a doorbell would have been louder than someone standing at the door saying "GAME OVER!" particularly when we're all shooting air guns. In game play, they split you up into two teams, with one team being identified by a caution tape arm band that you tie on. Caution tape that ran out in the middle of the afternoon. We thought they could solve this problem by providing pinnies. They're cheap and washable. Probably would have prevented a lot of friendly fire. The space: The space is very cool. Lots of cabins and buildings, barrels and cars. Lots of places to hide. It's dark, which makes it hard to see, but also makes it more fun. I like that there are second levels around the walls for optimal sniping. All in all, most of us had a great time, but it would have been better if there were clearer instructions on the rules of the game, where you can buy stuff and just generally more interested staff (one guy was AMAZING. Super friendly, patient and helpful. The rest seemed slightly annoyed at our presence.) I'm not entirely sure that I would come back again, as fun as it was, these sort of organizational things made for a frustrating experience. read more

In our experience this facility has ref's that are incapable of caring for the players on the field -- too young, too cavalier about safety. I do not recommend this place for parents with young or pre-teen children --- if your child is injured or worse bullied they will do nothing. They may even blame you for taking the risk brining your children there. They do not enforce any rule, in fact I don't beleive they have any formal safety guidelines or rules. As fun as paintball can be, it's a safer bet to take your kids somewhere that makes safety their first priority and this place does not. read more

We launched a big party for our 10 y/o son with 17 kids. They had a blast, they had the time of their lives. The crew was just great showing interest to every need and for what is more important, safety. A little tears here and there but after the experience they were proud of overcoming their fears. After our party some of our guests' parents decided to make their own parties at Sgt. Splatter's. I definitely recommend it. read more

First time there, really really really dark. It's like a basement. Paint balls are too expensive, no chairs in the staging area, and the staging area is extremely small. They gave one team caution tape as markers to indicate the teams. The problem was it was almost pitch black, no one could tell who was who. The staff was okay, only the owner was nice. There is almost no place to put your belongings except for a tiny locker which you have to pay one dollar for to open each time. no food to purchase what so ever. Good experience with Paintball ... sons (age 12 & age 14) + friends had a blast. Service for pizza delivery was a disaster. Waited 1 1/2 hours for delivery as kids became very hungry. This place is horrible, I went there with my friends and the staff was HORRIBLE, no service, no nothing. There was a kid working as ref, which I find not normal at all. Is this even allowed? I was shot 7 times and bruised horribly, which prompted me to talk to staff, their answer "it happens." Also, We were against ppl bringing their own guns. someone shot me really close, and even though I said stop he continued... Overall an awful experience. When I wrote to the owner to the place, his answer was quite aggressive. Would never recommend it to anyone, I would rate it -5 if I could. WORST of the WORST. read more

It is open 24/7 and the price is good. You can go with your own group, or go by yourself and join a team at the arena. The terrain has resonable challenges. Remember to bring your dirty shoes, and wear clothes that you won't care about getting dirty. Also, players are welcome to bring their own equipment. read more

Field: The field layout is good - largest indoor field in Toronto and great for scenario play. However, it is the darkest place I have been to and I feel bad for renters who play with those cheap masks that fog up. A LOT of people tend to cheat as well and not call their hits because it is impossible to tell if you hit them, because it is too dark (along with bad officiating). Staff: I, personally, have not had any problems with the counter staff. They are not very professional, but are not ass holes either if you have any sense of humour. Unfortunately, their refs are absolutely terrible. The refs are usually stuck up, ignorant kids or teenagers who do nothing, but insult the players. The officiating, alone, has ruined my experience at Splatters and has made me reluctant to come back. Pricing: The rates here are nothing special - roughly the same as other fields. population/conditions: People come here to play a lot, a lot of renters, so you will usually have a full game. However, the field is extremely dirty as they rarely clean it and the ground is sand. Conclusion: As I have said before, the refs ruined this place for me. If they could fix the officiating I would give this place 4 stars instead of 2. read more

I don't feel right rating this paintball site because I have absolutely nothing to compare my experience with. The purpose of this review is to share my experience as a newbie for others who have never tried paintball before. I went on a Sunday afternoon with a group of 6 people, and all but one of us had never played paintball before. In general, I had a lot of fun, but I found some of the games at Sgt. Splatters really confusing. It was also a bit intimidating and sometimes difficult to get much play time in because many people of all levels are playing at the same time. So you may be playing with people with far more experience and much better equipment than you. This was the biggest downfall, and the reason I would like to try other paintball venues in the future. If you are going with a really large group, then Sgt. Spatters might be perfect for you, but if your group is 15 people or less and is comprised of many inexperienced paintballers, then another venue that allows you to play with just your group may be a better option. However, I am giving it 4 stars because as I mentioned it isn't fair for me to rate without having a place to compare it to, it was TTC accessible, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. read more

Recently Sgt. Splatter's has gone through many changes. I believe it's new management and now this place is amazing . They have installed in brand new lights , so you can see what you are shooting and ref's are fair on splitting teams. The price is slightly more then paintball city on sundays but worth checking it out. I will defiantly be there for sundays as many people come play after 2pm. Keep up the great work ! read more

This awful place is the worst paintball location in the GTA. This used to be my main place, I'd go every Sunday, today I saw a new side of the business. I brought my friend and a group of three speedballers did the equivalent of s gang bang with paintball guns. We told the manager and asked for the very least s refund as we had only played one game! The staff are super unhelpful EVERY TIME I go there, they don't know s thing about paintball! The manager would not give us a refund and my friend has 26 welts (counted) on him and is bruised everywhere. Some other bad things about the place is the overcrowding, dirtiness and insane prices for what you get. Don't go there, ever. read more

The place is really awesome.. I came with a group and we all had fun. But but but.. the bald guy with goat beard don't know what he is doing . I have been told he is a ref but was always on the phone and on his earphones. I don't understand is the owner paying him to work?? The staff there looks really annoyed. These 2 rednecks. There was this Indian guy that spazzzed at us cause we brought outside paint even though we didn't know ;c one of my friends had one outside paint by accident. He screamed at him like crazy. Searching all of our hoppers kinda pissed me off even though it wasn't a bright thing for us to do. So many guys who cheat too. There this guy who was camping on a tower despite the ref said no one can go the towers. I got a few shots on him but he kept shooting and bruised my hand =O. I was there for 4 hours. Never seen a game when there was a winner... I went to Gladiators. Kinda like that place better than this place. Please have better staffff. And have more special events. read more

Everything is expensive in this place. Workers there are a**h***s, especially the owner. The games they play are good and fun and the field is fun as well but not worth the price. Service sucks as well. Waited about 10 minutes to get my air tank filled up. Had couple people go first even though I had come first. Would not recommend this place. There are better paintball places out there. read more

awesome time there, the staff is awesome and so nice! the sand aspect is awesome because you aren't heard and its dark on the field but still enough light to see. not everyone likes being seen, so its good for those who like to hide. its a good time there. read more
