After a delicious bday dinner At Kelsey's Erin mills. the bday celebrant wanted toe end her special day on an activity. We originally planned on going to the port credit lighthouse but we ended going to The classic bowl in Dundas and we did enjoy it a lot! The staff was really friendly and gave us the correct shoe sizes. I want to recommend that the area seems to be dark and it would be nice to put additional lighting fixtures and to update the feel of the place ..all in all a great experience especially if you love to bowl read more

We had a great time here for a kid's birthday party. The staff were helpful and friendly.

It was my first time bowling for my birthday. I was not ready for how heavy the bowling bowls were and had to borrow a lighter one. The fee per person or for an adult is around $19 and you get a rental shoes with it along with one hour of play. The facility had a big parking lot in a plaza area and the washrooms were clean. I enjoyed the experience even though I was not really good at bowling. Would definitely recommend trying out this place if you want to experience bowling with friends or family. read more

I visited Classic Bowl on a Sunday evening, The place is the far west end of Mississauga. Close to 403. the place is huge!!! A large place with spacious seating. They offer a great quality of socks and bowling shoes, very neat. The alcohol and drinks I found were pricey but they do have a 5 bottle beer- bucket deal with fine. Food is expensive and okay grade. Came here on a weekend with a Groupon; $32 for 1.5 hours of bowling (shoes included for up to 4). It was not too busy and the venue was clean, everything easy to find, no problems with the Groupon. I bowl like once every millennium and had a great time this time around. Our lane worked, we had a lot of fun competing, and it's a chill activity good for when the weather is bad like now. Side note though, if you have slightly longer nails, you'll probably chip them when throwing the ball, so it'd be a good idea to cut your nails before or bring a nail clipper so you don't end up with ragged claws by the time you're done. We had some pizza but I don't think it's made on site as it came cold and flat (like a frozen pizza you'd expect in a school cafeteria) and in white delivery-looking boxes. I ate one bite of a slice and stopped right there. We got beer/wine which were fine, so I think it might have just been the food. I took a peek at their normal rates online before going and those were decent (like $50+ for a lane and shoes for 2)? I'd definitely suggest getting the Groupon and saving yourself a good chunk. Overall, good place for casual bowling, not so great food, but I'd still come back for bowling next time. read more

The last time I came to classic bowl was a while back, since then they've renovated everything so the seats by the lanes are much nicer and comfier. Lanes are paid for by the hour, on a Monday night we spent $66 for an hour, including shoe rentals. The customer service is very nice and you receive a pair of socks and a cookie upon purchase. Now, the downsides to this place is that the food isn't the best and a little overpriced. The bowling balls available are somewhat chipped and old. Sometimes the machine glitches also and doesn't record whether you've hit a pin or not. If you're looking for a place to bowl casually this is a great place, but if you're more serious and looking for a nice meal too classic bowl is pretty average. read more

The staff, and especially the manager, were very rude. Her tone of voice and choice of words were so condescending, even her facial expressions were very unprofessional ... she even shutdown our lane while we were in the middle of a game instead of coming over and communicating with us, because the kids wouldn't put on the bowling shoes they provided. I haven't been to Classic Bowl since I was in middle school! Nothing has changed when I visited yesterday evening for a work event. The food provided for our work event was quite good! There was pizza, wings, potato skins, chicken fingers, jalapeno poppers, veggies, and drinks. It's quite surprising for a bowling joint. We had a great time bowling and had very minor issues with our lane. We just had to press reset and we were good to go again. There were plenty of bowling balls to choose from. Simple and not too special. You by by the hour. You get a pair of socks and a tim Horton cookie which is included in your purchase to play. Service is friendly and quick but nothing too special. They like to cram groups side by side even though there were many empty spaces on the sides for larger groups. Balls seem to be a tad old where some are chipped. read more

If you want to be watched by a police officer the whole night, and have a horrible time being harassed, humiliated, told to go back to your own country, and spoken down to by a bowling attendant, Classic Bowl in Mississauga is the place to go! Here's my experience from a Friday night, costing $50 for only 3 people for only 40 minutes since the attendant docked us time. So 20 minutes into the game, the arm wouldn't go back up. We went up to the front desk to tell them there was an issue. About 2-3 minutes went by and the attendant came to us, and right away he automatically accused us of breaking the machine. He was just yelling and harassing us. He then called us idiots and stupid, and said to stay at home and not leave because we were idiots. THEN he said to go back to our own country!!! Wow, such great professionalism. I was born here. So I don't know what other country he's talking about. If anyone should go back to their own country, it's him with his thick accident! He then transferred us over to another lane, docking us 13 minutes, and had a police officer right behind us watching us as if we were criminals on prohibition. At the end after returning our shoes, I spoke with the individual again, asking for his name and asking why he docked us 13 minutes and why it took so long for us to start bowling again. He then said "no one came here to tell us there was a problem". WOW Again, another thing that shocked me. We did go to the front desk right away to report the issue. What a liar. Unbelievable! Never going back! I called and sent an email to the owner. I never even got an email back. read more

We were playing a 2 hour round yesterday and today. Yesterday, twice points didn't register and today again points did not register. Each time you must go to front desk to get manually added. Today our lane shut off for several minutes for no reason and I approached the counter to inquire. When I asked for free time to be added due to the mistakes for yesterday and the inconvienance for today, I was laughed at and told "maybe 5 minutes" In the past two days we have spent over $120 in food lanes beer ect. This is unacceptable of any business to laugh at and deny compensation. read more

We went in the middle of the day when it was totally dead and had a decent time. Facility is worn out and the carpet looks like someone just travelled back to the 90's to get it, but it's still a decent bowling place - probably the best one in the area. Came here a couple of weeks ago on a late Saturday night with my cousins...cosmic Dj bowling night? We only went for an hour, the price being about $60/ hour. Im assuming they hike up the prices being its a saturday night, glow in the dark with a DJ in there. Regularly during the week and during the day on the weekends its about $30. Half price! Boy, was it ever soo busy inside. They gave us a number & had to wait about 20 mins before we could get a bowling alley. They provide you with socks that you could wear with your bowling shoes for hygenic reasons, i just put them over my socks. Im not gonna lie, the DJ was spinning some sick tunes. Top 40, then bringing it back to the 90s and 80s. We also ordered a poutine & chicken fingers/fries. I have to say they do give good portions for average prices. Poutine was $5, chicken fingers was $9. All in all i still think its kind of pricey to pay $60 per hour to bowl although i wouldnt mind coming back here for some good fun. read more

it's okay, it's an older bowling ally in Mississauga/Oakville. it serves it's purpose to bowl. the food wasn't good, it all tastes frozen. I didn't deal with the people so I cannot comment on the customer service but I didn't hear any complaints either. would I return? only if it was required. read more

The bowling here is pretty good and if you want to be transported into the early 90's by dance music from a live DJ, this is your place for cosmic bowl on a Saturday night. I probably wouldn't come here if I was born after 1995 on a Saturday night because I wouldn't recognize any of the music but if you're older than 30 and have some disposable income, why not bowl here? read more

Overpriced, horrible food and poor customer service. Our hockey team spent over $1,000 there for a tournament and when we left I noticed that some of the food we ordered never came out. I checked my credit card and I was billed for it anyway. I called Classic Bowl and asked if they could credit me back for $14 worth of french fries that never came to our table. He told me that he would look into it. Russel called me back and told me that he confirmed with the kitchen that I never came back to pick up the order. I explained to him that when the cook told me they would be ready in 10 mins that I expected them to bring them out. He said, we don't deliver food and the kitchen remembers your order and you never came to pick them up. What I find astonishing, is that he confirmed I never received the order and still wouldn't refund me. Even after 17 kids and their families just ate and bowled there for 3 hours. Choosing to bill me for something that he knows I never received - good luck with your business in the future. Never going back - horrible customer service. read more

We went there and had a fun time till we accidentally hit the barrier infront of the pins oh man we called the guy it was a Asian tall boy with a man bun oh lord this guy has severe anger issues he was so upset and rude no manners to talk!!! So he left with a stupid face after that our bowling balls got stuck in the Maschine so this guy freaks out and got mad at all the customers HELLO it's not our problem that ur stupid bowling Maschine is not working we still had left 30min to play but we left cause this place is nice but the guy is ****!! My Aunt had recently purchased a livingsocial deal for this and we went this afternoon. Usually I prefer other bowling locations but she needed six people to get the most value out of it, so I went with her along with my cousins. When we first went in, I had to wait for 30 minutes or so to get the shoes and the lane. I was expecting a wait given that it was Sunday afternoon but 30 minutes was unexpected. They had two cash registers but only had one staff member on duty which was frustrating because there were other staff members around who could have started another line. When we received the shoes and went to the lane, we had to share eight chairs between our group of six and another group of five. I was surprised because there were other lanes opened. So I went back and asked if I could have another lane. The manager refused rudely and stated that we can't move you to another lane. I asked him for a reason and he didn't give me one. The other group was very nice and was kind enough to share their bowling balls with us because we could not find any that were between 8 - 10 pounds. I walked up and down the entire bowling center and could not find any spare bowling balls. Then after playing a few rounds, the bowling pin organizer malfunctioned after some time miscalculations on our part. I hit the organizer by accident; I went up to the manager asking if he could fix it and that I was sorry for hitting it. His response was "Did you hit it on purpose?" I was very surprised because it was an accident and that we are sorry. He snapped back by saying that they are very expensive to fix and that if it happens, he will have to kick us out. At this point, I almost gave up finishing the game because of the customer service but my Aunt and cousins wanted to stay to get the most value, so we stayed. I have never had a problem with crowds at this location. I am unsure what this other guy is talking about. This location is great to kill sometime with friends and right next door to a poolhall for some beers an d pool after bowling. What I don't like is that it is roughly 20 bucks a person. I came here for a friends bday and it was so fun. We played for 2 hours on one lane and the atmosphere was great! The only problem was that a couple of times, the machine broke and we were unable to play, but our time was still ticking away. Other than that the day was great! This is a great facility - cleanest bowling alley I have been to and very well equipped. Food is very reasonably priced and good quality. Bar is well stocked with variety of brands and beers. This is a fun place for all ages and abilities. The shoes are updated and in good shape, and socks are supplied.
