The staff was all super friendly and helpful. Nessa and Lucas are the owners and they're both so lovely and wonderful. Jess was there to help with the framing and she was super sweet as well. Workshops are a base price of $45 for the instruction and help, and are 3 hours long. You book in advance online and I believe it's $5 per person to reserve your spot. This activity is on the pricier side, you'll spend a minimum of $90-$100 once you pick out the frame and additional items. The nicer/bigger the frame and glass you select, the higher the price. The smallest size frame you can get is 11"x14", and the caveat to this size is that you have to choose a black or white mat to display your flowers on. Any size above 11"x14" you can display your flowers on the clear glass. Not sure why they do that, probably to upsell you to the larger frames which are significantly more expensive. You can use as many flowers as you'd like from their main flower table, and they have larger ferns and flowers available for $3 each. You have the option to select regular glass or museum glass when you're framing your piece for an upcharge. As someone who isn't super creative of crafty, this activity was hard for me personally to come up with ideas! They do have examples on the wall, but I think I would personally do better with a more structured activity where you are copying an example they have. It's a fun activity and very unique, however it does get pricey quick so expect to spend at least $100 per person. Excited to see them do well here!

The venue is next door to Usana amphitheater and Foreigner was playing with a pretty big crowd. The married couple were fans of the band so they thought that was cool. Two of the bands members were playing golf 15 minutes before they went on stage and I had a chance to talk with them for a minute as they finished. We had worried about traffic but things went smooth for everyone coming. The staff here was so accommodating, helpful and friendly. Anything we asked for or had questions about were answered quickly and professionally. Guests marveled at the view and were impressed with the buffet and setup of the venue. Really we couldn't have asked for more. Special thanks to Jeremy for getting things planned with us and following through on everything (it was their busiest weekend). Charisse was incredible to work with and made the night unforgettable with her suggestions and help. The bartender was great and many commented on her fun and happy attitude. After learning about Encompass (and looking to their classes a lot), I signed up to do a 21 day…read morechallenge for $21. Based on scheduling, it took me 5 days to finally make it in. Encompass is a cute, definitely wellness based studio right behind Title Boxing. The first class I attended was their Slow Flow Yoga and Sound Bath Meditation. Me, not being a huge fan of yoga unless it's hot or restore, figured this was the perfect class to start with - especially with the addition of the crystal bowls! The class was in the dark with candles and salt lamps. It started with a meditation, moved into slow flow yoga and stretching, and ended cuddled up listening and feeling the sound bath. It was very hearing and olfactory based 45 minutes. At the beginning of class, she gave us drops of essential oils into our hands to smell (they smelled amazing, and I ended up rubbing some into my neck). Throughout class she sprayed scent into the air, and burned incense. She had a chime she played sporadically and the crystal bowls at the end of class, sang and vibrated the body. It was a very unique experience and class, and it was very enjoyable. I felt very relaxed by the end of it. The studio is very cute, and well equipped. They have a ton of weights, mats, bolsters, blocks, straps and other yoga props. On top of the studio, they also have a sauna in the back - the perfect cherry after a wellness class. They do have to compete with Title next door, so at times you can hear the music and instructor on speaker from there. Because of this, the music in Encompass is turned up a little louder, which was just fine by me, but I couldn't hear the instructor very well a few times. I really enjoyed Encompass, and I'll for sure be coming in as much as I can in the next 16 days, but their schedule is a little harder for me to work into my day. Classes are more spaced out and sporadic throughout the day, and if I want to attend a class, I have to plan my entire day better. Their classes definitely have a more wellness-vibe; the majority are yoga based. It's well worth a stop in for some awesome yoga, or relaxation classes. (They do have a few cardio ones as well!)

I just wanted something simple where I can focus on my mental health while reintroducing movement into my daily routine. Something that reminded me of Berkeley without being too Berkeley about it. Encompass really embodies that for me. I'm still trying out classes and looking for the perfect class fit in terms of time and my own schedule but I found the instructors and the other patrons to be friendly, kind, and supportive. It really is a warm and welcoming place, and I think that was the intention from the start. Adaptions are made as needed to poses, support is always offered and they really do feel like they believe that it's your practice, and that you should have the most say on what your body does. I'm not a physical person, I'm not really big on it but honestly, I feel like this was a good fit for me. I think the prices are reasonable but they aren't the cheapest option. However, small classes make it worth the price. The classes offered are at a variety of different times during the week and that does make it easier to find at least one or two classes that you can take the time for. There are a good mix between yoga and cardio classes with meditation sprinkled through out. I really feel like when it comes to yoga studios, you may need to try a few out before you find the one that works for you. But this one was a fit for me right off the bat.

The receptionist was very helpful and gave me all the information I needed and directed me to a website. Before hanging up she brought to my attention that further questions about the process could be answered by another employee who's job it was to "help" in the process. I thought this was a perk of buying their product because nothing was ever mentioned about price. I set up an appointment for the next day and made my way there at the allotted time. When I arrived I was greeted by the receptionist and led to the office of the employee that would answer all my questions. She was very nice and gave off a good vibe. However, another gentleman was there who mentioned he was in training and wanted to see how the "process" works. As we got to talking the "gentleman in training" kept interrupting and soon revealed that he was the director/man in charge. It was revealed that our sit-down was free but that they could help me for a price. As I asked questions he was very hesitant to answer any of my questions because he said, "my job is to make money, and if I teach you how to do this, I won't make any money!" To my surprise I answered that I understood what "he" wanted, but didn't feel like he was giving me what I wanted. He then told me, that if I didn't understand the value of his services, then I could learn the hard way by doing the application process on my own. I responded by letting him know that I didn't mind spending the money, as long as I knew what I was spending it on. He refused to tell me what the process consisted of or any other details. He further told me that if I paid the price of their service that there was no guarantee that I could get the license I was after. After 15 minutes of his pompous attitude and him expressing to me his desire to make money, I kindly commended him for sticking to his "business" philosophy, thanked him and the young lady for their time, and left. This is the first review I have ever written but never before have I had someone try and sell me their product or service by telling me what was most important to them, and never mentioning how it could help me. Maybe it was a bad day or maybe he was trying to impress the young lade. But he just lost someone who was willing to pay for something that would make my life easier.
