I have lived in the Shadow Green Apartments for about 3 years and overall I love it. The office people are very friendly when I go to get packages or ask questions or chit chat. One of my favorite things about living here is the maintenance. They fix everything very quickly and the maintenance people are really nice, especially Chad. There is a private golf course behind us which is beautiful year round. Every apartment has a patio. The entire area is smoke-free. It's nice not seeing people smoke on their patios or in the parking lot and seeing the litter everywhere. So if you are a smoker, this is not the place for you. The pool here is also very pleasant in the summertime. They also have a work out room. I wish I utilized that more lol. My apartment is spacious and I love it. Lots of closets. The kitchen could use an upgrade but overall we are happy with the unit. It's usually very quiet. We get good internet service here. The reason I am giving it 4 stars is because I am a cat lover and to live here, I had to declaw my cats. I never wanted to declaw my cats because I think it is unnecessary and cruel. I tried explaining to the owners of the apartments (Hornig Company) and that if you provide scratching posts and and trim the cat's nails, cats will cause much less damage to the carpet than they may if you declaw them. Often cats act out and have a change in personality after enduring the trauma of being declawed. It's seriously cruel. Also, don't ever pay your rent late cause they will nail your ass to the wall. The management staff is really friendly and always there to answer any question you have and are fabulous at communicating through email and posting information through positioning fliers at each apartment building to tell about upcoming projects. each apartment unit is fairly priced for the size. read more

Stay away from this Management. They will never disclose information in the beginning of process and will put fines, additional fee at the end where you have no choice other than paying it. I applied for it where they asked for 300 security deposit if the application gets approved in addition to 45 dollar application fee. They asked for my credit card and they deducted 45 + 300 and then notified that you are conditionally approved and you need to deposit additional 610 USD but if you don't accept it then your 300 USD which they have already taken from your credit card is gone. If you fill application fee of your wife they will charge 45 USD for application fee again and 50 $ roommate fee which is total fine if they would have provided all information in the beginning of accepting lease. Last problem I had is that they had apartment free from 4th of March and for signing 6 month lease they charge additional 50 USD but make you sign till September 30 which is 7 month lease. The main problem is they let you know when you can not do anything about it. So simply apartments are fine but management is very tricky and will snatch your money any how. Thanks Raj read more

If you like living in a peaceful and quiet community, then Shadow Green Apartments is where you want to be. Not only will you enjoy this luxury, but you can also enjoy the amenities that they offer like: outdoor swimming pool, exercise room, golf court, sauna etc..... In the short time that I have been living here, management has been really nice and friendly. Any issues or problems that you may have, they respond and fix promptly. During holidays, they host gatherings for the residents and you can even enter drawings. What more can one ask for? I lived here for 2 years in one of the 2 level units. What a great apartment complex! Very nice amenities- pool on the golf course, laundry rooms, workout room. We have lived in the Shadow Green Apartments for 3 years. My apartment is beautiful and we have a great view of the golf course. It is cat friendly but there are monthly fees associated with it. Cats also have to be declawed which I think is unnecessary and cruel. To their credit, not many nice apartment buildings will even let you have a cat. The pool is very nice in the summer. The no smoking rules have been more enforced lately, which makes the pool more enjoyable. The fitness room is also very nice and always clean. They have 2 treadmills, 2 ellipticals, 1 bike, plus some weights and stuff. My building is usually very quiet. I like that we get a parking spot in the ramp. I never have to clean snow off my car. We are able to pay rent online, which is easy and awesome. We can also submit maintenance requests, which they respond to ASAP and are very pleasant. The ladies in the office are also very sweet and helpful.. and sometimes there's even cookies! read more

Really bad experience with this apartment. While I was moving out after a year I cleaned everything including carpet so well, it didn't have any dust or any any dirty spot on it. It was looking cleaner than I move in. But they asked me for a professional cleaning receipt which I have been asked first time in last 7 yrs moving in any apartment. I asked them "is it dirty" they replied "no it doesn't matter we need a professional cleaning receipt". Means they just wanted to waste you about 100 bucks for nothing. Horrible. read more

I really like living at Shadow Green. The management and maintenance are very helpful, fast and friendly. If I could change anything it would be the laundry situation. There are only 4 machines in my whole building and when I go down I usually have to unplug on the washers to reboot it. And the washers have damaged some of my clothes. Other than that, I really enjoy living here, it's quite and peaceful. read more
