(It was kinda an emergency). One thing I will say, during the winter due to uneven pavement in the parking lot ALOT of ice forms. I did fall one winter and it was a pain to have to be extremely cautious everyday. Also if you have a big car the parking spaces are narrow. Overall a great place for young couples or small families.

One of my favorite things about living here is the maintenance. They fix everything very quickly and the maintenance people are really nice, especially Chad. There is a private golf course behind us which is beautiful year round. Every apartment has a patio. The entire area is smoke-free. It's nice not seeing people smoke on their patios or in the parking lot and seeing the litter everywhere. So if you are a smoker, this is not the place for you. The pool here is also very pleasant in the summertime. They also have a work out room. I wish I utilized that more lol. My apartment is spacious and I love it. Lots of closets. The kitchen could use an upgrade but overall we are happy with the unit. It's usually very quiet. We get good internet service here. The reason I am giving it 4 stars is because I am a cat lover and to live here, I had to declaw my cats. I never wanted to declaw my cats because I think it is unnecessary and cruel. I tried explaining to the owners of the apartments (Hornig Company) and that if you provide scratching posts and and trim the cat's nails, cats will cause much less damage to the carpet than they may if you declaw them. Often cats act out and have a change in personality after enduring the trauma of being declawed. It's seriously cruel. Also, don't ever pay your rent late cause they will nail your ass to the wall. I was told they had not specified that it was ADA modified and not what I would be expecting. Had to resign and redo all of the steps stated above and rent would be more expensive per month! 5 DAYS living there and a cockroach came out of the drain of the kitchen sink. Requiring me to repack all of my belongings in the kitchen and bathroom to allow treatment. As I Write This!!!! My AC is broken, and my apt has been 80 degrees for two days waiting for maintenance. Was told they would arrive at 2pm and left work to accommodate. Have yet to arrive an hour and a half in. My advice for anyone looking at this place. Is run away and count yourself lucky you didn't sign a year lease at this place!!! It's ironic and so fitting that this place is next to Purgatory Creek and off of Columbine Rd!!

I didn't mention that we, the residents, are locked out of common areas and can only gain access with permission of not at all for random reasons. This isn't normal or how other properties/communities are run, I've checked. It's embarrassing to have people over to see how horribly this place is kept. Still one star for the pool.
