Arrive Watertower - Apartments Near Me - Eden Prairie, Minnesota

In the process moving out and and we have had a poor experience living here. I do want to say there are some positives to this apartment. First, Abbie and Colon are good people to work with in the office. Also, the location is great. Now to the negatives. When Trinity took over they completed a remodel of the property. Part of the remodel consisted of painting the cabinets. They did a terrible job painting them and the paint chips off like crazy! We have had them touched up numerous times only to have it keep chipping off. They replaced the carpet with vinyl flooring that is supposed to look like wood. This has caused us to be able to hear our neighbors next to us and below us. Removing the carpet removed any sort of sound proofing this place had. Trust me when I tell you that you hear EVERYTHING. In addition to this we have very inconsiderate neighbors who slam doors and bang into walls. Even when this was brought up to the management, it continues. You also will get to deal with very inefficient heating/cooling. The units are very loud when they run and cause massive power bills. Be prepared to pay $125 per month on average for electricity. They also have no duct work, so different temperatures occur in different rooms. The parking garage has not been power washed in 2 years. It is dirty and you can barely see the numbers painted on the concrete. Residents leave trash sitting by the trash chute, as they are too lazy to walk it down where it belongs. The common area garbage is routinely overflowing. The pet owners don't clean up after their pets and it's so bad that people hand write notes and tape them to the doors asking them to clean up their sh1t. The smokers also leave butts all over the ground right at the entrance. I'll leave a picture of what you will see every weekend near the trash chute. A few things to keep in mind. Every side of this building either has light rail construction or parking lots for Old Chicago/Bowlero. Essentially there are no quiet sides to live on. They are also offering residents $500 checks for referring people to live here. It seems that the residents who cause a lot of the issues are the ones referring people to live here as the overall environment has gone way down hill. read more

I set up a showing and after standing outside for 5 minutes before a resident let me in one of the workers was just standing in the office. I told her I was calling the office and it went right over her head. I said I had a appointment and she agreed and was going to show me a few units. She took my ID and then disappeared for 15 minutes while I waited in the lobby. Finally I walked around the counter and grabbed my ID and left. read more

The elevator has been broken for well over two months. The stairs constantly have dog piss all over them and smells like that and weed. There's spiders in every single entrance and hallways. Very large ones, at least 5-10 in every corner. They have a hornet problem that they never took care of as well. We've had three hornets inside our apartment so far. The construction nearby is very loud all around us. The above neighbor's footsteps make the floors crack late at night and early in the morning. We can hear them having what sounds like normal volume conversations sometimes too, which is odd and frustrating. They also allow kids on the top floor. They are extremely loud sometimes and can easily hear them screaming, stomping all over, etc. We also cannot have our subwoofer over 10% due to the walls being so thin and get complaints. To be clear, this is not loud at all and somehow they hear it enough to complain. We can hardly hear the bass ourselves. We don't even bother putting up the surround sound we paid for, since we feel that will just cause more issues. The overall community here is very to themselves, no feeling of being a good community. The times we interact with them is usually complaints about this place. The parking lot has loud drunks at night, usually the weekends. The fire alarm has gone off at least 4 times now at 3-4am due to "electrical faults". The balcony is worthless, you can barely put two feet on it. The sauna and hot tub constantly don't work. The workout rooms have very little options for abs. They need more variety and a bigger room. The indoor basketball court is decent, but nobody likes to share it. They have "security" doors that have broken door knobs and you can just push them open and no longer secure of course. The workout room doesn't have cleaning supplies for months, the bathroom down there is consistently out of hand soap. They also had a sprinkler issue, which caused the entire workout room to no longer be used for weeks. They also blocked off the cross fit gym and indoor basketball court, even though they were unaffected. The entrance areas to the apartment often smell horrible, either of garbage, weed or both. The delivery area for packages often either get things stolen from because the door is warped and sometimes doesn't get shut all the way or they don't know where the packages are. They also leave packages out in the open in the other apartment across from the main building. They are just sitting by the elevator for anyone to grab. The overall rent price for this place is ridiculous, definitely not worth living here. Even if everything listed wasn't an issue, still not worth their asking price. read more

Finally moved out and could not be happier. I've outlined some of the problems I had to deal with when living in this building, but lets start with the positives first. I think the management team, overall, despite the turnover of employees, are decent and nice. I do believe they are well meaning and try to make this a nice community to live in. They've always listened to my complaints and concerns and tried to address as much as possible. They have different events in the party room that are optional for residents (e.g. breakfast, National night out, etc.). They do communicate different things via email (update on broken elevator, fire alarms, etc). That's about all there is on the positive side of things. Now on the negative- The garbage has been an issue since I started living there. People will stuff the garbage chute, clog it up, don't care and walk away. The next person won't care and will just LEAVE their bags of garbage right in hallway because they're too lazy to walk it down to the dumpster. Not only is this an eyesore, it's unhygienic and a health hazard to have trash pile up in residential hallways. It also stinks! The problem got so bad, that management closed the chute indefinitely and asked residents to walk their trash down to the dumpster. BUT there are STILL some people who DGAF and leave bags and bags of nasty garbage by the closed chute. Oh, and the random Walmart shopping cart full of garbage is "normal" in the residential hallways. There are also some really bad and irresponsible pet owners. I've seen dog piss and poop in the stairwell. I've literally seen a dog have an "accident" in the hallway - it's like these owners wait too long to take out their dog(s) to use the bathroom. Don't keep a pet if you can't make time for them to use the bathroom whether you live on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th floor! Again, irresponsible pet ownership got to be so bad, management had to post flyers in the hallways/stairwell asking people to clean up after their pet. Like really??? Why is this even an issue - take out your pet in a timely manner and pick up after them! Needless to say, watch where you step outside because there is A LOT of dog poop that owners don't pick up. And these aren't all little lap dogs. There are some big dogs which means big poops. It's gross! I also had an issue with residents who allow their friends and family use the facility that I pay for. I'm fine with a guest or two occasionally using the facility, but there are people who have large groups that will come use the equipment and basketball court etc. like 3x a week! This isn't Lifetime fitness! And even at lifetime, people still have to pay. Why do I have to wait to use the treadmill while this "guest" who doesn't live here gets to use sh*t for free? My point is that some residents take advantage of the amenities and will let their mom, sister, best friend, coworker, cousin-in-law, boss, whoever- come use the facility. The mailroom is always FULL of boxes and random stuff that people ordered from online. Again, there are some lazy residents who don't pick up their packages. I can understand a couple days, maybe a week of not getting your boxes/packages if you're out of town, but when there's +300 people living in this building, you can imagine how many boxes and packages are just on the floor of the mailroom. Go get your packages! You get an email notification of the arrival. Here are some other constant problems that I experienced while living here: no outdoor parking because Old Chicago customers will park in the residential lots (good luck if you have more than one car); loud ass neighbors (e.g. kids running and roller blading in the hallways; loud TVs and music, noisy upstair neighbors who jump and thump); and elevator problems (one was broken over 6 months). Overall, my experience living here wasn't the best. A community is only as nice as you make it to be. Unfortunately, the number of people who make the place crappy outnumber the people who want to keep the place nice and clean. Management can only do so much and I actually feel sorry for them. So others who complain about management, well, to put it in perspective, there maybe a team of 8-10 trying to manage +300 residents. To me, residents need to be responsible and accountable for their own behaviors or lack of. read more

Good Evening please allow me to start out by saying I have read the other two reviews on here and they are not for the Arrive Watertower apartments in Eden Prairie, MN. They are for some other property somewhere else. I use to live in these apartments in Eden Prairie, MN for over two years before moving into a house. 1) The office staff are top notch, super friendly, super awesome, very accommodating. If you ever had an issue they were on it right away. I had several issues in my apartment which was no fault of theirs and they submitted a maintenance request it was taken care of in less then 24 hours. Megan, Kaylee, Jennifer are Rock Stars!!! Always smiling and willing to joke around. I could not have asked for a better professional and personable people to work with. 2) The Maintenance crew were top notch both Frank and Dylan were amazing. Anytime they got a work order from the office they were in and fixing or replacing whatever they needed to within 24 hours. A lot of the time it was same day even if it was late in the afternoon and it was a non-emergency such as replacing the lamps in our ceiling fans to snake a toilet. 3) The complex was always clean and orderly. The party room, computer lab, Media (TV) Room, always clean and ready for use. The gym, raquetball court, basketball court, hot tub, and sauna always clean and ready for use. They also kept these areas clean and tidy. Not once have I ever had to report an uncleanliness in these areas and I used them on an almost daily basis. The convenience of this location to everything in Eden Prairie is amazing with ease of access to shopping, restaurants, movie theaters, easy access to major interstates, makes this place an ideal place for everyone from college students to the retired. I hope this review helps and I stand by my word that is by far the best apartments I have lived in in my life and I have lived in several apartments around the state of Minnesota. I was looking for a three bedroom apartment and had seen Watertower's reviews were great. I scheduled a tour and Collin was excellent. The property was chic, modern, clean, tons of amazing amenities. Along my tour we ran into some maintenance workers and they were extremely friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, they didn't have any three bedrooms available at the time. I will be checking back with them, as this is the only place out of all the communities I've toured that I can see myself living at. read more

My fiancé and I lived at this building in Eden Prairie, MN. Half of the photos on here are not of this property and are from another state. The building was in horrible condition and the photos shown are their selective and edited photos. Management was horrible and has turned over numerous times, the managers are rude, the grounds are in bad condition, the garage has leaking pipes, garbage was always over flowing from the trash chutes, dirty carpet and rarely working elevators are just some of the problems. Once they started allowing dogs there would be nonstop barking and animal crap all around the property. Don't be fooled by the marketing of "luxury" for the building. It is far from it but comes with very steep rent. Please look elsewhere. Message me for more details. read more

So the Arriving Tower responded saying "oh, we highlighted your "leaving notification" request in our renewal offer". Jeez, do you think I pay any attention to the renewal offer if I am moving out for sure? And what about the $50 for my second car, that even after I notified you that my 2nd car is no longer in the garage you say you cannot take that off? How desperate you needed that $50 to make up the revenue? And where is that highlighted? Oh by the way if you have medical issues, this building is not accessible - there is no ramp attached to the 2nd building, you have to get into another building, walk couple of miles get across to the 2nd building (isn't that a building code violation?!). Oh and people do die here - the first day upon our "arrival" in August there is a squat car here to inspecting a dead person in one of the apartments. Good that we did not move into THAT apartment. I bet they don't even give you a discount or letting you know if you happened to get THE apartment. read more

If you like loud fire alarms once a month at 10pm, the entrance of the garage not working at least once a month, "secured" access not working, elevators that only work half the time, and a high price a living this is the place for you! Being in Minnesota one would think the side walks would be shoveled after a snow storm, but you won't see that here! The hallway by the trash chute smells and is constantly backed up. It is a great location, but there are plenty of other better places to live in EP. The staff I've interacted with are nice, but passive aggressive and fake. Mmmmhm, Megan and Jennifer. But I am not and will straight up say this place is sh__. The other young women who was quiet (desk in back left corner of main area when standing at desk of leasing office) most of the time seemed genuine and sincere. The only thing luxury about these apartments is when you move out! Save yourself the headache and go to one of the many other options in or around Minneapolis. read more
