We enjoyed tennis on the clay courts,, swimming and playing paddle tennis on the 2 courts situated on the property. People gathered in the hut and had lovely times as we watched others play paddle while warming by the fire. The inside of the Miami Vallen Hunt and Polo Club is very spacious with rustic beamed, vaulted ceilings and a stunning, stoned fireplace. The Christmas parties held there were breathtaking with a wide variety of stunning decor, year to year. The bar area is decorated in a classic "polo-type" feel providing a cozy setting to socialize. The living room is also a roomy setting for gatherings large and small. Every holiday the Polo Club hosted such wonderful parties as the venue lends itself to so many options. There is a large kitchen with plent of work space for a caterer or the kitchen staff. The men's and women's locker rooms are very attrative and quite roomy. Our son and daughter in law were married on the grounds with their reception up in the Club. A large tent blanketed the beautiful outdoor patio, for inclement weather wth stone walls and cushioned seating. The Polo Club was a perfect venue for the wedding with tons of privacy. It was a very cozy setting with our guests in awe of how charming the Miami Valley Hunt and Polo Club is.

The cardio machines are all really maintained well and up to date. They have a Peloton bike which is my personal favorite to use. The highlight is their squash courts! They have two squash courts, both with view areas. The 4th floor gym/squash area is really warm, and welcoming and they have a TV with a large table where you can order food or a beer via the dumbwaiter! The food at University Club is PHENOMENAL. Whether you are going for lunch or dinner, there are always a variety of options to satisfy whatever craving you have. My personal favorite dishes are the buffalo shrimp which are a rather large appetizer but difficult to stop once you start eating! And they have a seafood pasta dish that is.... I dont even know how to put it in words... so delicious you will keep eating even when you are full! My lunch go-to is their Uclub salad which is probably my favorite salad in the city. For example, we were supposed to start at 1, but most of the time we ended up starting around 1:30 because of practice time and any resets we had to do. The alley staff had to reset our lanes multiple times due to the aforementioned scoring issues. The only reason this isn't getting a worse rating is that when things were working, it was a fun environment to be around.

There are a variety of accommodations (smaller cabins, the large lodge and another lodge style cabin. The lodge has a large cafeteria space with a stage, a downstairs area with bedrooms and an upstairs area with conference rooms. The camp is an "adventure" camp, so it has a high ropes course, a zip line, a giant swing. They also have a variety of lake activities such as kayaking, swimming and giant inflatables. The staff is extremely friendly and responsive. Any time someone needed something, it was taken care of very quickly and with a smile. I highly recommend hosting or attending an event here!
