They waited for us even though I was having trouble booking online. We paid after the tour. We saw lot of alligators. The cypress trees with the moss were just gorgeous. It was a beautiful boat ride on Lake Martin. I would recommend this tour to anyone! You won't regret it. The boat ramp was very easy to find. I didn't have cell service once we got there and there are not bathrooms. But there is a dollar general down the street.

Our group was just the right size as we were not on a full boat. We saw plenty of wildlife as our guild pointed out everything. He was knowledgeable about the area, plant life, wildlife. They also added a "service fee" to each transaction with the armband which they really didn't explain up front like they should have. I would have usually purchased a LOT more beverages at a festival like this but the armbands made things so painful I just gave up and bought lemonade instead from one of the vendors that didn't require the malfunctioning armband. There were a LOT of great food vendors along with a HUGE number of fantastic musicians performing. Another big highlight of this event was the chef's demonstration tent where you got free samples along with learning how the dishes are made. Overall this is an amazing time with great music, good food and expensive drinks that are a pain to even purchase with the goofy armbands. This is my second experience with Magnificat as my son and I went with his school for an 8th grade pilgrimage to DC/NY area.
