The location was spacious -- there's the cafe side where they make drinks and have plenty of tables/seating and the cat playground side where you can play with cats! If you don't want to play with the cats, you can just watch them from the cafe side. We ordered our drinks and made a 1-hour reservation to play with the adorable kittens. The reservation process was pretty easy -- we didn't have to wait long because it wasn't so busy. You can reserve online or walk-in, then you just sign a waiver. It was so much fun playing with the cats. They are well taken care of and have plenty of toys. I also appreciated how clean and hygienic the space was (they have hand sanitizers and cloth covers you put over your shoes before you enter the kitty space). You can also bring your drinks inside. I also want to mention that the drinks here are amazing. I've been to a few cat cafes before -- some just offered packaged snacks/drinks and some had a fully functioning cafe but the drinks were okay. This cat cafe had all kinds of teas and coffee/espresso drinks. They also have special seasonal drinks. My husband and I got the Vietnamese Matcha and were pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was. Wasn't expecting this cat cafe to actually be as good as a neighborhood cafe! I will definitely be coming back here if we are ever in the area again!

Imagine, a place in downtown where you can simply step off Main Street and within minutes be in a…read moreroom full of fur and purrs. The sunlight pouring in the front window, people walking by jealous of the love and attention you are receiving, and the warmth in your heart knowing that a positive nonprofit organization is being supported. I walked by this place at least twice before surrendering to the cuteness. There are two rooms (which you can switch between during your 30 minutes) and one was full of kittens. I learned that it was the mother cat and her newborns. I spent most of my time in there. The furry momma seemed worn out so I let her rest, but the kittens were ready to play. I tossed the toys, let them bat at my shoelaces, and smiled as they climbed all over me. It truly is animal therapy. So how it works is you walk in, fill out a short form, pay for 30 minutes with the cats/kittens, and then wait (if there are others in the rooms). Your fee supports the nonprofit, but if you decide to adopt one of the cats/kittens (which is why they're there!) your fee rolls into the adoption fee. Between the tiny paws and purrs and sunlight beaming in, I was so relaxed afterwards that I went back to my hotel room and took a nap. If I lived closer, I would be here at least once a week. I highly recommend you visit soon.

Dr. Tehrani has absolutely no bedside manner. I came in with my senior cat, who was not eating and…read moreclearly not feeling well and it's almost like it's an annoyance for him to help your pet. After running full bloodwork, which did reveal a higher than usual white blood count, he basically wrote it off as anemia and prescribed an appetite stimulant and said she was probably experiencing kidney failure. Poor girl has already lost a lot of weight due to her thyroid condition, but there was no plan for how to handle the possible kidney issue, no recommendation for needing to be rehydrated, and no diagnosis for the higher white blood cell count. She got worse over the next day and had some swelling on the right side of her face, so there was clearly something wrong besides anemia. I didn't want to bring my sweet girl back to someone who honestly doesn't care, so found a new vet, who diagnosed her with a tooth abscess (higher white blood cell count due to the infection), put her on an IV for fluids, and on antibiotics and pain meds. She was thankfully much better after a couple days and responded to treatment and started eating again. Needless to say, I'm never going back and am furious that my poor girl was in pain and had to suffer for a few days due to this completely bungled diagnosis. The front desk staff is also not very friendly or helpful, so definitely doesn't give you a warm and comfortable feeling. I had good experiences with Dr. Hall in the past, but do not take your pet to Dr. Tehrani.
