This campground, although small, was a nice refuge at a time when vacancies at campgrounds ended up being hard to find, later on. Our tent campsite was pretty small, but functional enough. Overall, a pleasant experience. The showers were welcome. read more

5 stars although not with all the bells and whistles of "resorts"or destination style campgrounds. WiFi worked Friendly owners let us switch sites as trees were against the camper. Thanks here are plenty of other sites and I consider this Big Rig 40' friendly. Not hard to pull in or out. Ring secured septic always nice. Picnic tables. There is playground walking distance across the street and fenced yard. Plus for children/families/dog owners This is indeed a small campground, but so is Seibert. Perfect location and place to sleep. Gravel sites nicely level. VERY safe area Full hookups 2 shower/bathroom units I rate as very clean /w/D $2.00 if you need that. Enough room for 2 vehicles was appreciated Seibert was probably one of the smallest towns we ever saw, VERY friendly locals. Not sure of things to do, but it looked like a pool and park in the town. Would stop here again. I'm sure lots of people stop on way to Denver. Would love to know places to eat/things to do nearby they recommend. I just like getting those handouts at checkin at some of the places we go. Anyways recommend to all as a nice stop. read more

Civy & Joe are my kind of people.. just a sweet oasis here enroute to some fun hiking in the mountains. Joe diagnosed a possible blown fuse in my RV that did indeed turn out to be a 150 amp blow up that later got fixed from his diagnostic advice Civy is a shining gem with the kindest soul.... so nice to talk to them both!! If you are seeking a luxury RV park experience this is not your jam... If you're seeking a safe, secure, clean place to rest on your travels with great people who run the facility.... You have hit a home run ‍ Also, really enjoyed walking my pup around town and in the local playground... had a great experience here! read more

Traveling across the country to visit the grandkids and we needed a place to sleep for the night. Holy smokes we discovered a treasure, just off hwy 70 tucked away in a quiet little area. The owners Joe and Civvy were so nice and helpful, instant friends and I'm here to tell perhaps the best small batch roasted coffee I've had in my days of drinking coffee. The positives for this campground are that it is easy to get to from 70 and far enough from the road noise that you didn't hear it all night. The pull through spots were easy to navigate and the staff was very friendly. It's a good place to stop for one night. My negatives are that the bathrooms were old and filthy. One toilet was stopped up and there was "water" all over the floor. The internet was sketchy and no cable. read more

Shady Grove, more like Sha-mazing Grove! The facilities were great and owners were extremely kind - especially the red-haired girl (I think her name was Casey..?). The bathrooms were clean and the wifi is blazing fast. Oh also, they have a popcorn machine which was super neato. 10/10 would return here when passing through Seibert. read more

My wife and I stayed while traveling through last week, and though the season hadn't fully kicked off yet, the owners were in full operation with all campsites ready and four other RVs in the park. The town is very small, but has a good old-time charm and the basic necessities in a grocery store, post office, and gas station. The campground offered water, power (30 and 50 amp), sewer and wireless internet. They offered discounts for Passport America (lifetime members) and a couple of other groups we're members of (AARP, AAA, Reservation Friend). The owners were very friendly, a husband a wife team who retired from old jobs to maintain this quaint park. Overall, not a destination campground, but an excellent place to stopover for the night. Great value and a step back in time to old-America, but we will definitely be stopping back for the night the next time we come through I-70. read more

This is not a campground that you're going to take a vacation to in the spot on the road that is Seibert, Co. But for an overnight stay traveling on interstate 70, it is great. The staff was very helpful and the price was great. Nice showers available. read more

We tried to stay here, but it was a ghost town. No owners/workers, and only one camper. The hook-ups were badly placed and their "Pool" was a small above ground pool with a rickety fence. We kept driving. read more

We had better luck. Shady Grove WiFi has no WiFi. The owner was very nice, hence the two stars. Accommodations very sparse. Only room for one person at a time in the bathrooms at a campground with with 24 spots. We stayed here and enjoyed the owner's company. read more

On the last leg of our trip, called at last minute looking for a place to sleep. Owner was very accommodating and friendly-but the office cat was even friendlier!! Easy access, level sites, easy hookups and just far enough from highway to be quiet. WiFi worked for us. Perfect RV Park when you are traveling on I-70. read more
