The fish and steak were good, but the duck was amazing. AND the twice baked potato was soooo good and the pesto they provide with some yummy buttery garlic toast is super good too. Unique and tasty salad. All in all LOVE this restaurant/bed and breakfast. And the dessert was amazing too! Their breakfast is also good. Love love love this place. Will be coming back for future anniversaries. The massages are really good too. I recommend doing an hour or more instead of standard 30 minutes. The ambiance is nice also. Not stuffy and overly fancy/sterile but comfortable, welcoming and classy.

We had a couple massage, which was my first legit message I've ever received. Both ladies made us feel comfortable and explained everything in detail. A few minutes in after we were comfortable the general small talk was nice and the complimentary mimosas were exceptionally great. Dinner was amazing. Steak, duck, chicken, potatoes, dessert.... 10 out of 10. The lounge and bar areas were peaceful and accommodating. We loved everything. Our room was upgraded and even though it was raining it still was an amazing stay. Safe to say we will be returning! Thank you to all the staff. You all are amazing!

One of the most frustrating hotel experiences I've ever had…read more First, the spa whirlpool had visible mold--definitely not what you'd expect from a place that markets itself as relaxing or upscale. When I got to my room, the shower didn't have hot water. I went to call the front desk and realized... there was no phone in the room. I had to use my personal cell to report the issue, and they told me maintenance would be sent up. Thirty minutes passed with no word, so I went downstairs myself--it was now 9 PM. I was told, "We tried to call your room, but maintenance went home, and we couldn't reach you." That was frustrating on multiple levels: 1) My cell never rang, and 2) they couldn't call the room because it didn't have a phone. They also never bothered to come up and speak to me directly. Eventually, they moved me to another room--only for me to find out the A/C wasn't working. At that point, I had to call again. Oh, and before I forget: in the first room, the shampoo container had some kind of gunk or buildup on it. It was gross--clearly not cleaned properly and not something anyone should have to touch. It wasn't until 9:45 PM that I finally settled into my third room of the night. Thankfully, this one had a working shower, a phone, and working A/C. But by then, the stress had already taken its toll. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was unacceptable. Between the maintenance issues, lack of communication, unsanitary conditions, and poor customer service, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

My mom and I stayed here for our impromptu trip to Sulphur/ Chickasaw National Recreation Park, and…read moreit was awesome! We were so surprised, not because we expected it to be bad, but just because it was better than expected and we were practically the only ones there (to be fair, we were there in the middle of the week rather than a busy weekend). So definitely a hidden gem. There's a much more popular hotel in town, but I'm so glad we chose this one instead. It's not technically a hotel I guess, but it works like one... and has more interesting things than a typical hotel. It really is set up to be like a retreat and conference center, so the name isn't just for show - you can tell that they've really thought about how to make spaces that work for those types of events/ situations. For example, there are plenty of different meeting and conference rooms, and they have a FULL gym, not just a treadmill and some weights like many other places. See the pics for what I mean! They also have a cool lounge area, complete with an open fireplace in the center of the room. Both my mom and I thought how cool it would be to be sitting around there in the fall. They also have a pool and hot tub, like many other hotels. There's a sauna in the locker rooms, which I thought was pretty cool, and it looked nice but we didn't decide to go in. Speaking of the locker rooms: they're also very nice! Definitely well-kept. The views from the hotel rooms are also STUNNING (and I do believe all the rooms are on the same side of the building, so all have the same view). The pictures unfortunately don't do this part justice. Because it's truly out in the middle of nowhere (only about 15mins from the main part of town though), there's just pretty land for as far as you can see. The rooms are pretty standard: two queen beds, a fridge, keurig with a few options, bathroom with shower, and closet. No microwave in the rooms, but there was one downstairs where they had the ice and coffee. I appreciated that they had more than one type of flavored creamer (powdered). I'm not a huge coffee drinker, but I got some because they had amaretto flavor, and it was good!!! At first because the drive there was so quiet and empty, we were a little unsure about what we'd gotten into, but as you can see it ended up being a great place to stay! I almost wish we were there longer. Would definitely go there again!

The perfect place when you just need some peace and quiet, rest and relaxation. Helpful staff, nice…read morefacilities, and beautiful scenery. The only thing missing is dining. Even a little sandwich shop, oh say, something like Bedres cafe, would be perfect.
