There are 4 of them around town, all on the main road which I believe they call the parkway. Duncan's seems to specialize in Levi's, Wranglers, and most excitingly Carhartt's. Now I really have no interest in Levi's or Wranglers, but I am a BIG fan of Carhartt workwear. Anyone who knows the Carhartt brand knows it is super expensive but it is worth it. Duncan's has the absolute best prices I've ever seen on carhartt clothes and outerwear. A Carhartt coat that will normally run you $120-$150 dollars anywear online or brick and mortar sells for $70 at Duncan's. How awesome is that! They have a really good selection of Carhartt items. All 4 stores seem to have the same merchandise, but sizes are varied throughout each store. The good thing is if you find a jacket you like in 1 store but they don't have your size, odds are they have it in stock at one of their other 3 locations. I visited all 4 stores recently and purchased well over $400 worth of clothes. They would have cost me at LEAST $1000 if not more had I bought them somewhere else. All in all if you wear Carhartt either because you like the items or by necessity you are doing yourself a disservice if you aren't shopping at Duncan's (as long as you are within driving distance or are vacationing in the smokies).

Pop in and get what I need, then I'm out the door and on my way to my next stop. This shopping set up affords me exactly that... I can see all of the stores from the parking lot, find the ones I want to go, and avoid the ones I don't want to go to; I can go directly to those stores shop to get what I got to get and leave. Ample parking lots. Lots of discounts within the various stores... you talk about making a deal sweeter. Like that the stores observe the social distancing mandate. Many of the Wrangler purses were actually more expensive than what I've seen at local flea markets, and most of the women's Wrangler jeans were priced at $74 and up. I asked the cashier whether the prices on the tags were the final prices or if there was an additional discount, since the TikTok videos were claiming items were around 70% off. Based on what I saw in the store, that definitely wasn't the case for most merchandise. My daughter did find a cute top that I bought for her for about $30, and she also picked out a pair of shorts that were around $45. They did have some discounted merchandise in the back that appeared to be discontinued or older inventory, so there were a few bargains available. Overall, I was surprised by the pricing, especially considering the word "clearance" is part of the store's name. Most of the items I looked at appeared to be regular retail prices rather than clearance prices. While there were some discounted items available, they were the exception rather than the norm.
