After several calls, a subcontractor finally arrived hours late to tell me their workday was over and I would have to reschedule. I was agreeable to that as long as they covered the additional daycare expense, but neither Hugharts nor the subcontractor wanted to be accountable for their screw up. This is what happens when the company you hire does not actually do any work, but subcontracts it out in exchange for a cut of the charges. The result is higher costs and no quality control.

Had them replace 2 of my windows with new ones, it took a while to get them installed due to…read moregetting them to Morgantown from the factory, once they came, they got them replaced quickly and they look great, the guys came and did a good job of cleaning up, I did put down some tarps because one window is in our bedroom so I didn't want to get the carpet dirty due to it being winter at the moment, only thing was I found a few pieces of wood splinters left behind that could have been bad if we got them in our foot, also found a piece of glass in my driveway after they were gone, which could have caused a problem, but all good, I will have them back to replace a couple more of my windows in the future. The price, I am not sure of because I have never replaced any windows before, but they did knock some $$ off because of one window being sent to the wrong location and they had to get another window made, but I feel like they were fair, also like to support local businesses

Installation is flawless--I had both fixed glass and sliding door glass panes replaced. When I started asking for too many trivial things to do around the house they suggested how I could DYI most of those little things and save a ton. For example they told me "no point having two service calls to trim the edge of and old plate-glass mirror (to remove moisture damage)" when at the store they would trim it for only $10--I just had to remove the mirror and take it to the store myself, where they even helped me unload-load it to my car.
