There seems to be a pattern with this law firm. See Bill A.'s review. I was hit and crush by Southwestern Community Services bus on my motorcycle. The other person involved sued first and won a settlement. Christopher A Bandazian, a partner in said firm, was given all the medical and property damage bills. There was a video, the insurance company offered a low ball settlement that would not have covered costs to me after the firm took 33%. I spoke to my lawyer once for less than twenty minutes in eighteen months. He was informed of the amount I would accept for nearly nine months, no reply. I am then informed that the insurance company accepted an offer. I found this interesting since I never agreed to this nor was I informed of this offer being made on my behalf. When I clearly informed the lawyer I would not be accepting the offer, there was no immediate reply. Three emails later of restating my position to fact he had no right to agree to the settlement amount. He then dropped me as a client with a month before the statue of limitations expires on my case. His stated reason, "Given our continued inability to communicate effectively with you, we are withdrawling as your legal counsel." So, although he was told in February 2026 he dragged his feet repeatedly requesting I sign the settlement offer until April when he dropped me as a client when I refused to settle. Questions. Why should a lawyer make more money on a case than the hospital bills? Why should a lawyer make TWICE the amount of the client who has lifelong injuries? Is $12,000 net, worth destroying someone's life? I echo Bill A's review, "It was if McDonalds (Southwestern Community Services and Philadelphia Insurance, in my case) were paying attorneys to keep the claim ridiculously low." Mind you, what I was asking for was nothing compared to my injures. You don't get angry when the store employee puts the milk on top of your bread if they are mentally handicapped and receiving $12/hr. If you are paying $25,000 for a lawyer to settle an accident a first year law student could win, the same can not be said. Especially when he purposefully puts you in a position where you are being forced to settle up against a fast approaching deadline. I will eat the thousands of dollars in damages before I agree to something that violates my principles. Unfortunately, most people can not. When someone repeatedly misspells your name on legal documents, probably was a clear sign I should not have done business with them. Think long and hard after reading the multiple bad reviews before engaging with this firm. read more

I tried to get a simple real estate attorney. Spent 30 mins on the phone with their intake team giving so much information and when I got to the end the guy goes "what did you need again". If you don't have a competent intake system how can you expect to have a good experience? read more

Do not fall for their marketing ploy with wmur ads. Will never use them again Wife had a serious slip and fall at a McDonalds 4 yrs ago which will bother her the rest of her life. After paying medical insurance company and attorney fees she received peanuts. she insisted on extra beyond attorney number,got the extra and firm quickly gobbled up their %. After going through the social security disability process five times and the first four being nothing but frustration. Frus with a lawyer in Texas and when trying to do it on my own also. This time with Shaheen & Gordon it was approved and they steered me right the entire time. Mr. Gordon Unzen was professional and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I just presented my case for review to this firm. It was a serious medical malpractice against Dr. Stephen Ellen of Lifestance and St. Joe's Hospital in Nashua. They would not take my case. Sounds fishy to me. Do they only take the multi million dollar head on collisions? I will call the NH Law Board and find out what the hell is going on. Shut them down! read more

In a year&1/2 I've only spoken w/ my actual attorney twice. He constantly has a new assistant so speaking with someone that has any idea what's actually going on is impossible. They don't communicate or return calls half the time & always seem to have left early for the day or not be in the office that day at all. I contacted Shaheen & Gordon after searching online for an attorney to discuss the possibility of them handling a case for us. After 2 days, I got a voicemail from an attorney saying he was busy in court and I should call back on Monday. (is he the only one there)? I called back Monday, got his voicemail, left a message -- he didn't call back. A few days later, I called again, this time, asked the receptionist if someone else could call us, she said oh yes -- we are still waiting .... that was 3 days ago. Sent over their "standard" agreement after I had to follow up for three weeks. Requested that they put a timeframe that they would file the petition. Just file it mind you not complete any follow up , just file it. This was asked due to the fact it took three weeks to get the agreement. They refused to put any time frame on it at all and told me to seek other counsel if I needed to agree to these terms. All I wanted was a date because it takes you forever to follow through. Very dissatisfied with the service of Attorney Jeffrey Manganaro in handling a simple divorce case. A request to be reassigned to a new attorney was denied......"there were no other attorneys available!". A request to speak with a supervising attorney was ignored also. So if you decide to use this law firm just know that if you don't care for the way your assigned attorney handles your case there are NO options within the law firm for reassignment. read more
