Came here for lip fillers and got an appointment right away :) I did come here previously to treat my hormonal acne, but it didn't work out. I decided to be on birth control and that helped right away. Upon coming in, the atmosphere is really calm and serene; whoever did the decor, good stars. The nurse who led me to the room was very insightful and friendly, im only sorry I forgot her name. The only reason why I knocked down a star is because I wasn't given a thorough run down of the different types of fillers and pricing. The nurse gave me an overview but I was told the dr would be more thorough. Nevertheless, I did express my initial inquiries and concerns to the nurse so the doctor might have just evaluated what I needed from what I told the nurse. I got 1 syringe of juvaderm volbella xc code $800. Totalllllyyyy worth it since this filler metabolizes and last wayyy longer than other fillers. I believe up to a year (depending on metabolism and etc) . I'm super happy with my results, the doctor took her time and was very much a perfectionist when working on my lips. They're natural and not overdone, they just look voluptuous and cute. I'm definitely coming back here for other aesthetic concerns. So I went to see Dr. Khosla as she specializes in people with darker complexions. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that the entire team at Pacific Coast Derm is so professional and welcoming. The office is beautiful. The staff is friendly. And the treatments are painless (almost...) Dr. Khosla lasered my shoulder scar in minutes. She said it would take a few treatments, but it looks much better even after just one. I'll definitely go back for a few more. While I was there, I asked if someone could also do some hair removal from the back of my neck. They were busy, but since I was already there, they made time to squeeze in that extra treatment that I had not actually booked in advance. They were so accommodating and helpful. I came to Dr. Khosla's office crying and overwhelmed. Female hair loss is very traumatic, and when it happened to me, I struggled to find a medical provider who would listen. Before finding Dr.Khosla I had been treated by two dermatologists who prescribed medications that were ineffective, potentially dangerous were I to become pregnant, and they didn't address the underlying cause. I quickly realized that Dr. Khosla is an expert in hair loss. She listened to my concerns before designing a treatment plan. Not only did she treat me, but she also helped me deal with the emotional stress of this health challenge. Dr. Khosla referred me to two other female physicians who delved further into my hair loss. They were able to determine that my health issues were not caused by allergies or mere stress, but instead, are related to an undiagnosed thyroid condition. Because of her willingness to provide a referral and run blood work, I had a biopsy, and am now being treated for a thyroid condition. Within 8 weeks of following her treatment plan, my hair has started growing back! No more hair paint or extensions needed to cover the bald spots. I no longer have a fear of brushing my hair in the morning. The treatment is expensive but a fair value for the area. It is good to know that over time, you need PRP less and less. Dr. Shaheen Khosla is a warm, attentive, and competent physician. Initially, I emailed her office a couple of times about a minor case and she was super quick to respond and ensure that all of my questions were answered which I really appreciated. I went in for an appointment to get a little sebaceous hyperplasia removed (just some oil buildup on my forehead resulting in a tiny bump). Dr. Khosla was very thorough and went over all of the nuances of what I should expect and the risks to ensure that I knew exactly what was going on. The procedure itself was quick, just a few seconds and the bump was gone. After the procedure, my skin healed nicely and now I'm just waiting for the hyperpigmentation to fade away. read more

I sustained mostly 3rd degree burns 1.5 years ago when I fell into a fire after tripping. My scarring was terrible. Dr Kohsla recommended trying the CO2 Edge laser to ablate some of the scar tissue. I've had my Botox done with Dr Khosla a few times now and I'm always happy with the results! I needed a little fix after the quarantine and saw Dr Khosla last week for Botox and I'm already starting to see the results. I like that she's natural and only injects the necessary units and doesn't over do it. I don't like to be frozen and prefer some natural movement. I'm a PA myself and only trust a handful of people with my treatments-Dr Khosla being one of them! She was gentle, explained the process to me beforehand, checked in while she was doing the treatment to ensure I was doing okay, which I appreciate! I have a small bruise on the left side of my eye which is totally normal and expected with any injection. There are blood vessels and a little bruising is sometimes unavoidable. Nothing a little concealer can't cover up. Coincidentally my brother also went to Dr Khosla years ago for keloids behind his ears after stretcher earrings. She injected him with steroid which helped, but sometimes keloids return with time. He went to her again and she helped him as much as she could. She ended up referring him to her husband who is a plastic surgeon at Stanford and together they were able to help fix my brother's keloid ears. I have a couple seborrheic keratosis that I'm looking forward to getting removed with Dr Khosla in the near future. read more

We were searching for a Derm that offered certain services and had the qualifications of a Board certified dermatologist. We didn't want a Medispa. We appreciated the up front pricing on her website. I've called other Derms and they don't give you their prices. They won't even give it over the phone.They hit you with it after the consult which the pricing for the consult is also hefty. Dr. Khosla's pricing is comparable with other docs. but better than most and reasonable. So expect higher than a Medispa for sure bc of her qualifications and expertise. Her office staff and nurses are so welcoming and friendly. The office is so beautifully decorated. Now let's talk about Dr. Khosla. First of all, she is an excellent example for her staff. She is so warm, friendly and attentive it's amazing that she's a doctor. You don't find that often. It's rare. For the consult she allow your family to be there with you. One Derm we called about won't let your husband be in the room for the consult which is strange. She doesn't push treatments on you. She will mention them but no pressure. We were very happy with our visits and we will be returning for sure. Did I mention she's stunningly beautiful? The Derm should always look like she benefits from treatments she also gets from her office and she does. I've always had issues with my joints, frequently waking up with a stiff neck, fatigue and lower back pain. I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease and unruptured cerebral brain aneurysm. Mom and I first went to a reputable Dr. at Stanford who recommended that she "wait it out" and only take antihistamines (which she already had been doing will no relief). We were fortunate that Dr. Khosla was able to see my mom within a day or two of calling the office. She was compassionate, thorough and incredibly knowledgeable. She offered potential diagnoses and a clear plan. My mom was so relieved when the doctor offered a prescription medication for itching relief in the interim. I saw dr. Khosla urgently for an itchy rash that I developed over the weekend. Her staff squeezed me in and they were very helpful throughout the entire scheduling and check in process.
