Dr. Fiore is a very caring and proactive doctor. I like seeing her because she takes her time to check me out and to also explain her findings and treatment plan. She does run late sometimes because she spends the time needed with each patient compared to today's doctors who only spend like 10 minutes (if you're lucky) doing a very cursory examination. She does not push her opinions on me and gives me enough information to make informed decisions. Front office staff are friendly and nice. Major missed diagnosis calling bug bites shingles. Wanted to do extensive biopsies when another doctor chuckled at Fiore's very poor diagnosis. I wrote her a detailed letter outlining the situation. Going over my credit report today, I found that she had sent the bill to collection. I paid the bill because my credit it to good to lose points to a "doctor" who never responded to me regarding her lack of professionalism. You'd think seeing a doctor and getting treated would make you feel better. That's mostly true for most of us. For me, it was a clear NO here. I felt miserable having to deal with their billing person. She was unbelievably rude, condescending, unprofessional, and unreasonably demanding. The office billed me for the wrong amount. It could have been the office's mistake, it could have been the mistake on the insurance's side. We all make mistakes so I called in and explained the situation. The billing woman said to me: "You have to make sure your premium are paid!" in an accusatory tone. Shame on you. You don't have the right to tell me that. I obviously didn't say that to her, but if I wanted to be reciprocal, I would have said it. She then went on to blame my insurance and again after me "Did you do what I told you to do?" she said. Seriously? The tone was AWEFUL. What have I done? My goal was to make sure the office gets paid on time and that the bill was correct. I am doing the job for them and that's how I am treated. This again has NOTHING to do with whose mistake it was and they later sent me the correct bill (after contacting my insurance). It was all about the attitude the billing person had dealing with simple matters like this. Are you treating all your patients in this manner? Well, Good Luck. I feel I've become more sick after dealing with her back and fourth and all that time wasted (could have spent on useful things) can't be claimed back. I REGRET visiting the office and will NOT return. As for my experience with Dr. Khosla. I can't speak to her expertise because I was in and out the office quickly and was told to come back for evaluation (which I have decided not to do after this experience). What I can say is she was friendly and the wait wasn't long at all. I don't mean to spread negativity here. I am merely sharing my experience. I wanted to write this review for all the young girls who are very insecure about their acne. Beautiful skin was such unachievable dream for me since age of 13; I have tried everything - starting from generic acne products at a local pharmacy, ordering magic creams from TV shop, trying herbal teas, supplements, changing my diet, doing chemical peels etc but nothing worked. I was seeing expensive Manhattan dermatologies who did not care much about my skin but more about money I put into buying professional products they recommend but my skin condition did not get any better. I was prescribed Roaccutane at the age of 18 but side effects of this product scared me and I started doing my own research. I was able to find Dr. Reema Patel - she is most professional dermatologist I have met that takes time to evaluate and understand the problem of your acne and first of all check your bloodwork and hormones before starting the treatment. I simply found her on Yelp and I am so happy that I did and I really want all the girls to know that Dr. Reema can find right products SPECIFICALLY for them. She is extremely attentive to your needs and NEVER tries to push unnecessary products to get you spend more money. After seeing her, I have beautiful healthy and glowing skin. As a girl, I was so insecure even to leave my house without makeup because of my acne. Now I receive so many compliments and people are asking what do I do to get skin like this! It is important to understand that acne can be caused by various reasons and it DOES take time to get rid of it. For me, it took almost a year. 50% of success is on your doctor and 50% on YOU to follow your doctor's instructions and have a special regiment. You can fully rely on Dr. Reema because she is very professional and knowledgeable. Buying expensive products does not mean you are getting the best products; with the right regiment prescribed by Dr. Reema I am actually doing big savings on skincare and not wasting money on products that do not work. I am getting some prescriptions from the compound pharmacy in LA that applies some coupons for products for savings. I searched and called many different dermatologists to schedule an urgent appointment but nobody was able to fit me in. I was experiencing bad hives all over my body and needed to see someone ASAP. When I called in, the receptionist was super friendly and was able to squeeze me in the next day! So happy with the service and experience at my appointment. They are so good (esp. Dr. Priya Rajendran) that I refer all my friends (and even my Fiance) to them! Great for helping me clear stubborn acne! If you suffer from oily, acne-prone skin, read on for options that might be helpful for you. --- In 2013 I went to Singapore and got an amazing facial from a reputable spa. I made the mistake of going to a steam room right after and a week later my face broke out. I can hardly describe the severity. It went from small, scaly bumps over my entire face, to deep, painful cystic acne to which I had never experienced--even in high school. I let it go on for a month before I grew sick of waiting around for it to "clear" up on it's own. At that point, I didn't recognize the girl staring back at me in the mirror. I finally went to Dr. Fiore's office and met with Reema (I don't really know if Dr. Fiore takes on new clients) but her other staff are also amazing. She gave me some creams (Retin-A and clindamycin) for the first three weeks. It did not help, unfortunately. My face was still pepperoni pizza gross. I came back and we got started on doxycycline, and slowly my face began to clear up. But the damage had been done. On my third visit, Reema recommended glycol facial peels and soon afterward, I finally started seeing results. I came back every two weeks to do the glycol peels and three months later, my skin was amazing. I've been doing the Acne.org routine (moisturizer and daily 2.5% benzoyl peroxide) which has kept my face clear and acne free for over a year. I recently started doing Pilates which led to some new breakouts. I went back to see Dr. Priya Rajendran, and was prescribed Minocycline, Retin-A, and clindamycin wipes. And now my face is back to being youthful, supple, and acne free. I was referred to Dr. Reema Patel by a friend of mine after having seen many Dermatologists regarding my acne. My first appointment was last March of 2017 and Dr. Patel and her team were so helpful. This is my 2nd filler experience with Reema, she did an excellent job for it my 2nd day and no sign of a bruise, call it lucky on my behalf and grateful for her experience. If I could give ten stars, I would. I'm 14 years old and I visited Reema after I tried every cream and cleanser on the market for my acne. I was hesitant on going to the dermatologist because I was afraid of my parents paying money for something that didn't work. After a few months my mom said enough was enough and set up an appointment with Reema, and when I got there I was immediately comforted by how nice she was while seeing me. She was so kind in helping me find a solution that worked for me, and set me up on a routine of products for my skin type. There wasn't one point where I questioned what she was doing. My experience with Reema Patel was simply awful.I left very upset and unsatisfied with my visit. She was cold, condescending, and uncaring and rushed me out of the office. She acted irritated when I asked questions and did not have answers for several of them. She misdiagnosed my acne as fungus, and prescribed an antifungal shampoo for me to use as a body wash. When I asked her how much to use, she had no answer and was also unable to tell me if the wash had an odor or left residue. I feel like any prescriber should have the genera knowledge and information about the medications she is prescribing. Needless to say, I never picked up that medication. She also gave me a prescription medication and directed me to a compounding pharmacy out of Los Angeles. When they called me, they let me know that my co-pay would be 150. They also let me know that I could get the generic brand at my neighborhood Walgreens free of charge. Why wouldn't she have sent me to Walgreens for the generic in the first place? Everything about this practitioner rubbed me the wrong way from her air of superiority to her lack of experience and knowledge. As a general rule, I do not write negative reviews about individuals because I do not want to hurt their practice. However, I was so disturbed by this experience, I felt that this review was well deserved. I have since been to another dermatologist for a second opinion and I'm on an acne regimen that I feel is successful and appropriate and that I agree with. read more

ugh, not sure why my husband's experience was so different from all these high ratings, but this practice is simply unacceptable. First, had to wait three months for an appointment, which was then changed to 2 weeks later by the office staff. Finally got in and first went through all the initial questioning with Reema (who is very nice), but then had to repeat everything again for Dr. Fiore.....ended up having a growth removed for a biopsy; again, because I couldn't get in any sooner, had to wait more than 2 weeks for an appt. to get the stitch removed. When I went in, the office said my appt was actually the following day. Even though I showed them the appt. card that they had given me (I was there on the appointed day).
