Took FOUR HOURS, claiming he didn't like the blow drier (though he's been blown dry by his now retired groomer for 10 years.) On top of that torture to him, she charged $95.00! He has been going to the same groomer for 10 years. She has always done a PERFECT job, had him done in an hour and never charged me more than $55.00. Lucky me I guess I was spoiled. I'll find someone more competent and less greedy.

She even cleaned the inside of the ears of our min pin as part of the check up. She also taught my fiancé and I how to do clean our dog's ears at home. We are pleased with the way they handled things and will be coming again if our min pin needs another check up.

The waiting room is divided into two on each side of the entrance door. Everything was clean and uncluttered. It was a no muss-no fuss visit with no hard sells. We had an x-ray taken to try to determine how many puppies (10-12) but it would have been nice to be shown the x-ray. Upon check-out, we were pleasantly surprised neither one of us had to give up any limbs in order to pay the bill! So I was scheduling an appointment with a new vet only to be accused of missing at least two previous appointments. In the twenty years we have been going to the Animal Doctor we have never missed any appointment. This is very hurtful. The more I thought about this the more bothered I became so I called back and cancelled the appointment I had just made. I will start looking for a new vet. Dr Dan Herrin has been the best vet we have ever taken out animals to. If this new vet cant keep any better records than this then I will just go somewhere else. We will miss Dr Dan very much!

We came here for a second opinion because another vet office in Ponderay tried to spay our dog and…read moresaid they couldn't do it because her vitals tanked. We took all the info over here and the vet really did her research before meeting with us. She was confident they could spay our dog without using the same stuff the other vet used (and they used way too much and told us more tests were needed and wanted a ton of money for all of this, plus talked about putting our one year old dog on heart meds for life!) We made an appointment and I'm happy to report that our dog was successfully spayed by them today and had no ill side effects and is peacefully recovering. ‍ I could not speak more highly about the care we received here from alllll the staff. Also they can take temps by just scanning the microchip on the dog instead of shoving the thermometer up their . Their staff happily offered to pick my dog up and put her in her crate to come home so she didn't jump and so I didn't have to pick her up. So thoughtful! This is our new primary vet.
