I genuinely don't understand how a place called All About Paws manages to feel this hostile and unwelcoming. If the goal is to make customers feel uncomfortable and judged the second they walk in, then I guess they're doing a great job. The experience went downhill fast thanks to Taylor. I've rarely encountered someone so openly rude and dismissive in a customer-facing role. Every interaction felt like I was being talked down to, as if asking basic questions was some kind of inconvenience. The attitude wasn't just unprofessional--it was flat-out unpleasant. What's most frustrating is that this isn't something subtle you could brush off. The judgmental tone and lack of basic courtesy were obvious and consistent enough to completely ruin the experience. It's honestly baffling that someone who treats customers this way is the face of a business that's supposed to be about creating a positive and safe environment for our pets. I left feeling annoyed, unwelcome, and pretty shocked at how poorly I was treated. There are far better places out there that actually respect their customers and don't talk about them to their other employees when you're walking out the door. This establishment is easy to access with it being located in a mini strip mall right at an intersection with a light. We've never not had a parking spot! The owner, Michelle, is very knowledgeable about everything they sell and carries a few of the hard to find dog foods. I could tell she takes care of whom she hires as they seemed nearly as informed. It's not a huge store but just enough variety including the bulk open treat bins. Beware if your dogs like to help themselves. LOL They offer a reward program, self-dog wash, and nail trims. Those services are in my mind and I'm not certain about other offerings. Stop in and see what they have to offer. If they don't have what you are seeking, ask, they may be able to order it in! read more

Thank you for providing this service. My dog is a rescue Jindo. Being a northern breed he has a double coat. His undercoat is fine and flyaway. He has gone to groomers who get frustrated and rush to deshed him causing pain and anxiety. I felt so welcome and you were very patient and helpful. The shop is well stocked with ample shampoo. Every tool was in good condition including dryers and towels. I was able to give him treats and he was calm and relaxed. I would recommend your shop to everyone. I was treated badly today by the red-headed-woman who runs this facility. My son and I were washing our German Shepherd when I noticed I was standing inside a "Dog Hair Cloud"! A woman in the booth next to mine was using a hair dryer as one would a leaf blower and instead of brushing her dog, she blew the hair from her dog into my space. I was covered with hair and backed away from my dog in the tub trying to avoid the hair cloud. I asked her politely to please stop blowing the hair all over me. The woman replied that she had to do it and continued. I told her to stop it! She brought the red-headed-woman manger to my space who then aske me to leave. I complained about what was happening. She told me there was nothing wrong with the woman blowing her dog hair all over me. Imagine that you just mowed your lawn. Your neighbor used their leaf blower and blew all of their leaves onto your freshly mowed grass. You complained and they replied that they have a right to do this. There is something very wrong with these people. Were these women friends? Why would a business owner take sides in such a clear mistreatment of me? Or is it as simple as these two women are misandrists? I don't know but I will steer clear of this establishment and encourage others to do so as well. Something is very troubling at this business. Furthermore, the red-headed-woman manager is a liar. Her position of the situation is a lie. Notice that each time someone complains its always the customers fault? Yesterday I stopped by the All About Paws salon to tell the owner how pleased we were with the grooming our dogs received the day before. I was a witness to the incident the reviewer Michael D reported and Michelle the owner replied. The reviewer had an anger management problem. He was yelling at the other customer, the employees, and the owner. You could hear his rage throughout the establishment. He threatened the owner that he was going to give her a bad review on Yelp. The owner did a good job trying to control the situation. We have frequented this salon quite often this past year. They have a large inventory of both dog and cat supplies and you can either wash your own dog or they have groomers. I feel their business is a real asset to our community. I'm writing this review because since I witnessed the whole situation I know what really happened. His rage made me feel very threatened. Probably one of the best pet stores I have found in the Northern Idaho area. The staff is super friendly and even helps us special order pet foods that they don't carry in the store. The dog wash station is totally awesome and made it so easy for us to wash our puppies :) read more
