My inner accountant is jumping with joy, and happily fist-bumping all the less financially-literate people he meets. Italian Chips - Ugh. No. Even store-bought prawn crackers taste better. We received this appetizer as one of our complimentary dishes. If given a choice, I would have chosen a different appetizer. Spinach Artichoke - This is actually parmesan pizza crusts served with a creamy spinach artichoke dip. Delish! All Amici meals should start with this dish, if you ask me. Flatbread Pizza (Bacon and Caramelized Onions) - Also really, REALLY good. The sweetness of the onions stands out in this dish, and overpowers the saltiness and smokiness of the bacon. This meat-lover did not mind this all too much...at the time. But Amici might want to take another stab at balancing the flavors. Bacon-lovers, you have been warned! Linguine al Prosciutto e Tartufo - I would have preferred a crispy piece of bacon or panchetta on top of this dish. Visually, I think it will boost the chances that diners would like this dish. As it is, I would probably scan the menu again for a less expensive creamy pasta with mushrooms. Pollo Arrostito - My favorite dish on Amici's menu. I splurged a bit more tonight and ordered the whole chicken. I wish there were more vegetables on the side.

They've added a few new items to the menu but they have absolutely no appeal. My second favorite pasta dish is the primavera which is prepared with a generous amount of garlic and olive oil. Service is very good. The wait staff who know me always remember how I prefer things and so I'm very well taken care of. The one caution I have is to avoid anything that is deep-fried. It seems they never change the oil in the fryer and everything I've ordered, such as the chicken tenders and mozzarella fritto, have been inedible because of the rancid taste.

If you can't decide where to dine before going in to the moviehouse, Bigoli is worth a try! They have good service, the staff is polite and attentive to the customers' needs. Order over the counter, and wait for your food to be served. Also, make sure to reserve a table first, since they're packed most of the time. The best thing about this Italian resto is the unlimited garlic bread! Order as many as you want because they're delicious and balances the other flavora you are yet to delve in. I recommend the platter, with spaghetti, chicken, a cheese pizza slice and salad! Also, take advantage of the unlimited drinks! Stand and refill your glass as many times as you want. Tip: when you are to watch a movie, the tickets usually come with a discount (or was it free?) for Bigoli's Stromboli, bread rolls with bacon and tomato sauce. They offer simple yet hearty Italian fast food that filled me with warmth. The lasagna was pretty good, though there was nothing out of the ordinary. We shared stories and juicy gossip over bottles of Stella Artois and Vanderlust's Sausage, Potatoes, and Sauerkraut platter--delectable slices of kielbasa, hungarian, and bratwurst sausage served with seasoned potato wedges, sauerkraut, and German sweet mustard. We ordered this delicious appetizer along with Vanderlust's Pesto di Aglio pasta, Catalan Baked Fish with Potatoes and Asparagus, and Schweinekotelett with Mustard Cream Sauce. The Pesto di Aglio pasta is legit, and is one of the most affordable pasta dishes I've had across all casual dining restaurants I've been to. Portion size may be too small even for one diner, in my opinion, so you better have other entrees on the table to fill you up. The Catalan Baked Fish may seem like a simple dish, but I guarantee that it tastes a lot better than it looks. The crust on the fish fillet elevates the dish, making it more savory and filling than what you'd normally expect from lighter seafood entrees. I only wish there was more of the potatoes and asparagus to take diners through to that last delightful bite. We had very high expectations for the Schweinekotelett with Mustard Cream Sauce--a thick and juicy 300 gram porkchop served with mashed potatoes and a generous portion of vegetables. However, there was too little mustard in the sauce, and the porkchop could have used a little more seasoning. The meat was cooked perfectly though, and we still enjoyed sharing this dish. I just have to end this review by saying how much I love the Booky app. We were able to find this restaurant, request and confirm our reservations OFFLINE (no wifi needed) in less than 10 minutes, get P500 off our bill, and enjoy a FREE dessert! Vitto's pizzas are thin and have that feel good dough I seek, it's decent dough... As for the toppings it fairly average, cheese and pesto with some tomatoes. Crispy Bacon (195 PHP) Deep fired to a crisp and satisfying crunch that's ideal as bar chow (pulutan) Chicken Ragu (250 PHP) Chicken breast fillet stuffed with carrots, cheese, and mornay sauce, breaded, fried, and sliced. Pasta Al Funghi (240 PHP) Creamy good pasta with the right thickness of sauce. I enjoy the even coat and mix.
