I need a petite fit frame and this is the first time I went here to get my script filled. I was very happy with the wide selection of petite fit frames. I love my new glasses and had a hard time choosing one pair, because there were so many I liked. I was very pleased with the service as well. Went one time will never go Back. They are rude they are nosy they want to tell you what you got to do. More concerned about the reason my husband had glasses for a biker last words to my husband were eventually you will have to spend money and get different glasses. This is not their business. Came in to ask if they could do a procedure not get fashion advice. Was recommended to go here. Unless you want to wear what they like and not your style i wouldnt walk thru the front door. You definitely don't want to head here if you are in a hurry and notice that there are a few cars parked outside, but you do want to head here if you want one on one excellent customer service. They carry a smaller selection of frames than you may may see at that large place at the mall, that's ok with me. There are still many quality frames offered here. It's nice to see customers greeted by their name as they walk in and wait for their turn. My grandma went to Shallcross for a reason and now I do too. It's a slow down and sit down for a minute kind of place, instead of a hurry up and get 'em now kind of place. read more

I have used Shallcross for over 10 years and would not go anywhere else. They have good prices & warranty new glasses for 1 year. I've had numerous repairs done at no charge regardless of what caused the breakage. Staff is always friendly and helpful. read more
