We have been going the since my son was 9 months, he is now 19 years old. My wife and I both wear glasses, and they have always been friendly and professional. When my daughter was having problems with her eyes we went to a different place(recommended by a friend), they did the exam and we ordered glasses. She continued to have problems, so we took her here, the doctor told us what was going on and said glasses will not fix the problem. Followed his recommendations now her problem is fixed. read more

Physician is great. No issues there. However, I ordered contacts and was told there was a rebate if I got a year of contacts. Long story short, the provider had not renewed their subscription with Acuvue and I could not claim the rebate. Its not about the money. It is the waste of my time and the fact that they sold me more contacts that I needed at the time. There were issues with the initial ordering. The guy could not give me a clear cost between a year of contacts and a 6 month. He kept giving me different costs and rebate amounts. When I stated that the cost wasn't making sense he said to call back and talk to the other assistant when she was in. I've been going here for years and really hadn't had issues until these past few times. The assistant seemed to be confused. read more

I went in yesterday to check out frames and was treated very rudely by some man working there.He didn't introduce himself but I was applaud with his treatment of a prospective client.He locked the door upon my entry and told asked me if I had a appointment .I told him I was just looking at frames he then stated you need to be out of here by noon!!! I was so taken back by his behavior and rudeness, I told him to unlock this door ."I WANT OUT OF HERE"!!!!! Im amazed if this is the way folks are treated by this establishment they are still in business! read more

No I wouldn't recommend this place unless you have very good insurance or are very wealthy. I wasn't greeted ANY of the times I went there. Not even by the receptionist. The doctor didn't speak other than to say A or B? B or C? I had been recently diagnosed as diabetic and asthmatic but he insisted that my mask cover my nose and when I moved it down to keep it from my eyes he sprang across the room! there was no discussion at all not even to tell me if my new prescription was any worse than my old. The frames "approved by my insurance" are kept in a dark hallway, not on the main sales floor. As if they aren't good enough to associate with the rest. The technician even exclaimed "No! Don't touch the frames! I have to clean them if you do!" when I tried to try a pair on! I finally picked out a pair close to my current pair just by looking at them. I won't even go into the fact that you have to make an appointment to make an appointment, and if you refuse THEIR hand sanitizer you can just leave. So unless you enjoy being treated like a third class person, I would find a different place to go. read more

When my daughter was picking out glasses she wanted a particular pair that were very color specific. I wanted her to pick something more neutral. One of the opticians proceeded to defend my daughters choice and tell me that I should let her pick what she wants. I politely told her that I was paying for the glasses and that knowing my daughter I knew she would get bored with the blue and yellow glasses she liked at the moment and I wasn't going to pay for another pair in a few months. I have been a patient for 8 years and have always been treated kindly and never have had a bad experience. I get my contact lens exam there and Doc always makes sure they fit comfortable, before I place an order, no matter how many different ones I try. There new staff is very friendly and always available to help you. read more

Very bad customer service I was told I was SOL. I let them talk me into trying progressive lenses. they remade them with lined tri focal lenses but placed the magnification to high in the lens. Now I have useless expensive glasses. They will never get my business or a positive recommendation again. read more

When first walking in, you're not greeted but looked at with a snark expression as though the workers are instantly better than you. After waiting 2 minutes to even be talked too we were still barely given any attention, even though we were one of two customers in the entire building. Once we finally got into the exam room it was obvious that none of their equipment has been updated in years. The exam its self was fine. However, I have had better in the past. Once done we were taken back into the waiting room and left alone. We stood there while the receptionist and other worker just stood there talking to each other. Finally the doctor came back out and showed us what glasses were coverd. After choosing a pair we handed them to a worker and were told we were all set to go... No paperwork no face sizing. When asked about why they do not size for glasses we were told that they only come in one size so it doesn't matter. I have been wearing glasses for almost 9 years and never once have I not been sized for glasss no matter where I went. This place has old equipment and rude employees and I would not recommend this for anyone. read more

I wish I could rate this place zero stars. I was stabbed in the eye by pine needles while raking under a tree. My eye swelled up and was constantly watering so I called Total Vision and set up an appointment for ASAP which was awesome. When I arrived I was approached ( after a moderate wait, though nobody was being seen by the eye doctor) by the eye glass salesman who informed me my insurance was changed. I said i only want it to be looked at to see if it was scratched or if something was in it and also asked how much it would just cost out of pocket to which he replied 30$. I said I would pay the 30$ or I could wait for my mom to dig out the new insurance information and come back later. They courteously assured me they would not turn me away and would work something out. Then things got interesting. The eye glass salesman asked me to come to the counter and sign a document. The document was a blank bill that would be sent to my insurance later. I asked " if I'm just paying the fee why would I need to sign a blank document to be sent to my insurance?" Eye glass salesman said when they get my insurance they would reimburse me if my insurance covered the 30$. I replied that I would just wait and come back later with my information. Then the eye glass salesman tried pressuring me into just signing the blank document so I expressed my reluctance to sign a legally binding document that was left blank and gave my reasoning behind it. My reasoning included how I was charged almost 600$ of which I paid out of pocket 250$ just for getting blood drawn from a local hospital. The eye glass salesman assured me nothing like that would happen. So I replied " I'm not trying to offend anybody but I wouldn't make you sign a blank check before I come and repair your roof." He then put the blank bill in front of me and said "just sign it" in a very rude manner. I repeated I was not comfortable signing blank documents. He raised his voice and said " YOU DONT KNOW WHAT THIS IS!" I was shocked that this man would insult me so i informed him I have a bachelors degree in business management and i do know this kind of thing." The woman in charge of billing noticed the rising tension and jumped into the conversation. She was very pleasant and professional while trying to assure me they only had my best interest before she was extremely and rudely cut off by the eye glass salesman who was now irrate. He said and repeated " No don't talk to him, we're done talking to him", as he jerked the blank bill from underneath my hand. The billing woman and I looked at each other with mouths wide open in shock. I turned around and left. read more
