It was a cute mid century modern piece, which seems to be their specialty (or at least seems that way because I'm drawn to that aesthetic). We were greeted as soon as we walked in by a masked employee and offered assistance while we browsed including the measurement of some pieces. They have a variety of furniture and décor accessories including a little "in progress" section where you can select a piece that hasn't been completed yet and work with the designers to put your spin on it. You can can also take in your own piece and have them bring it back to life. I would highly recommend popping in if you have time or at least following them on social media until you're ready to start shopping because if you stop in, you'll probably find something you want to take with you.

Albany and Avers was apart of the Women's Market but I didn't get a chance to shop there during the event, and I'm glad this was my first introduction. i would definitely classify this as a vintage store, and not thirft. These are high quality and cared for pieces. Every display is very thoughout and flows well through the stores. I found really beautiful skirts, boots, and dresses. Upstairs I saw a lot of great art work and unique hats and even art! There is a small try on room so you can see how the pieces fit before you commit. There was a bachelorette party walking through the store, and I thought what a fun activity and the perfect place to go with your girlfriends. The clerk at the front was super friendly and welcoming. I normally think of antique shops as cluttered and dusty but this was far from that stereotype. Everything was nicely spaced and looked to be very clean. Seems to be mostly furniture items including dressers, desks and chairs. There is a downstairs, but it was unfinished space with not quite as nice items. Oddly enough, the thing that we were intrigued with the most was the selection of hand soaps and cleaners. There are a few shelving units in the middle of the store displaying these items and they small incredible. I had asked the lady working there if they were locally made, which I think in a roundabout way she said yes, but after doing a little research, I later discovered they were not. I guess at least we were buying them at a local store. The foaming hand soap is reasonably priced for the size and there are matching multipurpose cleaners. I highly recommend the Honey Almond and Lemon Basil scents. We loved them so much that we went back to grab a few for holiday gifts. Definitely a decent spot to spend a few minutes browsing around if you happen to be in the neighborhood.

It had a bunch of unique odds and ends and blended the affordable with the expensive. Basically it was what I expected from an antique store, but had some unique finds that you don't see everywhere which I enjoyed. Was it cheap? no, but honestly most antique stores aren't cheap these days. We didn't find anything to take home with us but had a really fun time browsing and I'd recommend for anyone interested in antiquing that finds themselves in this part of Omaha.
