I am SO HAPPY that I have found a casual hookah lounge. I stubbled upon this place from word of mouth from friends, and I am so glad I decided to go. Upon entering, it definitely felt and smelled of a hookah joint. This was my first time ever going to a Hookah lounge as I only first ever went to one in Egypt, so the standard is kinda high for me lol. we went in a Sunday around 5:30-ish and the establishment opened at 4 PM. we were the first ones there so at first it was a bit awkward but TY broke the ice with his friendliness and charisma. TY took the time to explain us first timers the process of selecting the regular and ice base of the hookah and clarification of having more than one hookah and prices. he was very formidable and friendly which is what I loved about my experience overall. I selected the Peach flavor as it is very potent with the ice base hookah. Ice base let's you feel the flavor very potently. We shared it and it so happened that we made it during happy hour (5 through 7 I believe) so it was just $7.99 for the three of us - not bad! I also had shay (red tea) which reminded me so much of Egypt. The shay didn't have the green leaves but that's ok. The flavor and overall tea was yummy and fresh. The music process - really cool and personal. Since we were the first ones, we were able to connect one of our phones to the TV to play music. It really was personable and fun. I guess the ONLY negative feedback is that there were no paper towels in the bathroom, but air drying and soft patting on my jeans did the trick too. I can't wait to be back!! read more

Visiting Florida from New York and decided to check this place out based on the reviews - so glad I did. The Hookah was great. The prices weren't at all bad. I believe a fruit head was about $15. $12 for a reg Hookah. They don't mind mixing flavors either. They use quick lite coals but if you ask for the regular ones they happily light some for you which was great. The service was the best! Both guys esp the older guy who I believe was the owner were so welcoming. They constantly checked on us and offered us fruit to snack on. Great experience overall. The décor is made to resemble a living room. Sort of feels like you're home smoking on your couch. Def will return when we're back :) read more

Sham, the owner, is the sweetest most hospitable man I have ever met. He cares more about his customers than the business aspect. If his customers are happy, he's happy. The hookah is wonderful with a wide selection of al fakha flavors and natural charcoal. There's also a great selection of beer, wine, and sodas to choose from. I just wish sham was in California where we live! Came here our first night in Orlando and have been back almost every night since. I was the only one there and was able to hook up to their WiFi and make a YouTube playlist hooked up to their tv and chill out. Definitely enjoyed myself and didn't feel like I was unwanted. The hookah was solid and service is great as I got a bottled water with my Turkish coffee. The coffee was excellent as well strong and in plentiful amount. I came in looking at Yelp(which said that it was open till like 5 am). On going in they didn't allow us in at 2:10 because it was full(when it was all empty) and they allowed other people without a reservation. Don't waste your time at this shady place. read more

I went out on a late night hookah adventure because I am from out of town, and found this wonderful gem. The owner is an amazing person- he is a Syrian revolutionary that a documentary was made about- a fascinating person that is worth meeting in itself. The lounge has a great atmosphere and vibe that is comfortable and makes me want to hang for hours! The owner brings out fresh fruit and snacks and is extremely friendly as well! The first 2 days i went to a 2 places closer to my hotel, and after reading Yelp reviews and even without a website I came to sham. While the taste was about the same everywhere, the owner at Sham is so down to earth and pleasant. He really makes you feel welcome, hospitality at its best. You do not feel like you are at a hookah lounge. It feels as though you were at home, it feels very cozy ,comfortable and relaxed. I live right in the middle of Orlando, right around the corner from about 15 hookah bars but I choose to drive 20 minutes to Shams because there is no customer service like it! Sham hookah café? more like what a shame to a hookah café! I prefer to write positive review but when a place like shows ZERO customer service it needs a wake up call and here it is. ONE fire the server from this Tuesday night 9/26/17 PLEASE we might as well went to the back prep'd our own hookah and lit our own coal. She ignored us all nigh (WE WERE THE ONLY TABLE THERE!!!!!!!!!!!) and then when a person who seem to be the owner came she tried to disappear so that and if one of our friends didn't stop her at the back door we would have never gotten any coal. There was nothing positive about this experience. Also I read in a previous review that its a great space, not even it looked like a living room in a basement somewhere in the hood of Paterson and there was a 9 year old birthday party last week and no one took down the decorations, and oh yeah almost forgot lots of cobwebs. read more
