I liked how they gave you a brand new hose for the hookah. The drinks are affordable, but not strong (you pay for what you get). I liked how they had Starbuzz hookah flavors on the menu. I never see that. Pirates cave is my favorite! It taste like candy. Cons: The server told us it was only 2 people to one hookah which was strange because it's typically 3-4. Then looking around every table had 1 hookah with multiple people smoking on it. The ice tip was a waste because it warmed up after a few minutes. She offered us another, but we got a regular hose and the hookah smoked better. They charge extra for a natural coal that we didn't ask for. The liquor selection was limited. I came here for the second time this past weekend, which was a Friday. It was definitely a fun time with a DJ who catered to the crowd. I didn't order any drinks, but my friend did and said it was heavily poured. I bought a bucket of Heinekens and a hookah which costed about $56, which isn't crazy so I was content. The service wasn't great, however. My group was ordering hookahs and other groups were served before us, it looked like the other group knew one of the servers. Inside, it was practically empty with just 2-3 other people and pretty spacious. They told us that most of the tables were reserved so it must get busy much later on. Honestly best hookah in the area. It was really difficult for me to find a lounge that was this good. It's super chill, not loud , just super relaxing. Exactly what I needed. They serve beer and wine. Great customer service. They recommended a great flavor - orange & mint. Parking would not be an issue here- although I did uber. If I'm ever back in the area (as I'm traveling from California) I would totally come back. One problem I did encounter was not many outlets and I was hoping to get some work done here & wasn't able to do that. I've been coming to the this place for a little while, it's a great place to get away from the crazy downtown scene. No drama and it's cheaper has good space and cheaper prices. Being from Los Angeles I would say I have ample access and therefore high standards when it comes to hookah bars. Bliss gets 5 stars for low prices, luxurious decor, and super friendly owners/staff. $10 for a hookah is great. $1 for a bottle of water. I think this is the cheapest and nicest hookah lounge I've ever been to. Wish I could transplant it to LA so I could return every week. Ambiance is classy, great place to come hang out. Downside, whenever me and my friends go to a hookah bar we usually get water or some type of drink to water down the cotton mouth, water tasted like tap water and it wasn't even cold. We went on a Tuesday night since it rained the rest of the week we were there, there were three other people in there and they were very rude. Took pictures and videos of us because all they played was Spanish music, which I do not mind, I know Spanish so it wasn't a big deal but to them they thought we didn't know it and made it a joke, the group ended up leaving and it was only us so the DJ got frustrated and kept giving us dirty looks for us not leaving when the other tables did. Worst experience I've ever had. Came to celebrate NYE with my boyfriend and our 2 friends only to be scammed by the bartender Angelica. Ordered multiple drinks that I never received, handed her $100 bill for 2 beers and a shot and never received my change back. I only received the beers and waited at the bar for my change and shot for 20 minutes while I watched her recount with the bar back boy 6 times as he looked frustrated counting it back to her and then I watched her put the money in her pocket. Had 2 hookahs on my table that I was unable to smoke during this time. I went to check on my change and she said I never gave her cash and that I didn't place that order. After speaking with the owner or manager the bar back boy also confirmed he was recounting the money for her since she wasn't able to count and also watched her pocket it. Fay refunded us for the items my group never got but not for my drink that I never got which was ordered on a separate tab and also not for the hookah that my boyfriend and I were unable to smoke due to having our money stolen and not receiving half of what we ordered, spent over an hour there and only got to sit down for 5 minutes. Also did not appreciate Fay telling me that at least I'm getting a refund for the items I didn't receive since they were already paid for and they could just give us the drinks after the horrible experience we had. She also said "I don't want to get pissed" after I explained my frustration and requested a refund for at least the hookah we were unable to smoke since this was a terrible experience. The menu advertised Fantasia flavors however they don't carry them, and listed about 5-6 star buzz flavors and they only had one. If I can give it lower then 1 stars I would this was the worst experience I ever had in my life! I went with a group of friends after dinner to celebrate our friends birthday so we decided to come to Bliss Cafe, when we came in there was no music playing only something from a phone playlist but we decided to stay either way so we ordered our hookah flavors and we had this young lady with curly hair and let me tell you when I say this but I have never met someone who was so disrespectful with the worst customer service towards our group. She was taking our order and we were deciding on which flavor she sat down put her hand on her cheek and say "so you're not ready then?" with a rude attitude but the thing that got us so mad is that after we order the hookah she tells us that systems are down that we have to pay in cash. We told her that most of us didn't have cash on us and why would she tell us after we order. She later said that half our group has to stay and half gets money from an ATM a couple of miles down. Keep in mind that we only had 2 hits we stopped right away when she told us cash only. When we told her that it was her inconvenience that it should be on the house she yells and takes a picture of our friends license plate and calls the cops on us demanding that we have to pay. When I say don't come to place please don't ever come unless you want to ripped off and disrespected. And if you do make sure you don't get this curly headed girl or she will screw you over.
