Magnificent flavor, and good for the wallet, too. The comfy, cozy booth we sat in added to a positive dining experience. I enjoyed the vegetarian platter served with crispy, light falafel, creamy hummus drizzled with olive oil, baba gannoush, grape leaves, a parsley salad, and a choice of soup or salad (I had the creamy lentil soup) all for $15.00. My son enjoyed his falafel bowl, and my husband said his meat combo platter was tasty. We finished off with a piece of pistachio and another of walnut baklava. The food came out quickly, beautifully presented, and just the right temperature. I think you have to go up to the counter after finishing to pay. My family came to this restaurant yesterday and it was great. I had the gyro sandwich and lentil soup and since we were in the area we decided to come back two days in a row however we had more of an unpleasant experience this time. I decided to get the same thing as yesterday, the lentil soup and gyro sandwich, but then I was shocked to find a nasty piece of hair right on top of my sandwich. This is disappointing because it was a quite good experience the day prior and all the rest of the food was fine. Maybe just bad luck but that should not happen at any food establishment. Came in here right when they opened, and was greeted by a single man running the shop. The shop was adored with cultural wares and familial pictures hung on the walls, and music played at a soft volume. My order came out quickly, and wow. I have rarely had Mediterranean cuisine, and when I have it's been mediocre. But this was incredible. I got a gyro sandwich and a half dozen falafel. The falafel were fine, but the sandwich was everything. The meat was delightfully charred, the vegetables in the Jerusalem salad tasted so fresh and perfectly balanced the beef. Very fresh Mediterranean cuisine the owner was very friendly and made some suggestions about what to order. We had the chicken kebab and the Greek salad and both were wonderful very fresh lots of mint and the garlic sauce and the other sauces that came with it were wonderful. Ordered pick up for 4 people who were all very happy with their meals. I specifically had the veggie combo platter, which was absolutely wonderful. It also came with a side salad. The food is out of this world delicious, the customer service is amazing, and they have great air conditioning! My mom is from Israel, and she thinks this food is better than back home. Was in the area for a conference and this place was near by. I opted for the steak kabob. It wasn't a kebab it was in a pita which was fine but it was not a kebab. And I expected the steak to be bigger chunks of steak versus thinner smaller pieces of steak. Nonetheless it was still pretty good and the service was very good everyone was very polite and nice. Can't believe we found this place. I would have never thought to try by just the look of the shopping center. However we were planning on going somewhere else in the area that when we arrived was closed for construction. So I went to Yelp and noticed this was closed and had lots of reviews. Very tasty food and decent portion sizes. Ordered through DoorDash and the food arrived hot and fresh, and everything in my order was correct. One tip for the future would be to place the salad in an airtight container next time though because the dressing was very liquidy and spilled all over the rest of my food inside of the bag. read more

Ever eat at a place SO GOOD that you go twice in a day? That happened to me at King O Falafel. No kidding. I stopped in and got a 1/2 dozen falafels and an order of grape leaves. Super tasty, and the price was right! Came back at dinner time for a gyro platter, baclava, and coffee, and my son had a gyro. Really great stuff here! And I can't help but repeat that the price was extremely reasonable. I love the little bit of char they put on the gyro meat, gives it a great texture, and it wasn't too fatty either. I walked over to King O Falafel when SCW and I were staying nearby for a little getaway. I was hungry and looked at the Yelp reviews and figured I'd give them a shot. I ordered online and walked over to pick our food up. I got the vegetarian plate, a Falafel sandwich and a small order of falafel. I arrived a bit after the scheduled pickup time and was told it would be another 15 minutes or so till my order was ready. They were very busy. A good sign I guess but minus a start for the wait time. About 20 minutes later my order was ready as they needed to remake some felafel for some reason, but off I went. The food itself was outstanding. I really enjoyed the felafel sandwich as the felafel was well cooked, the felafel to bun ratio was good and the sauce it had on it was outstanding. Really, really good. I would not pass up ordering the felafel sandwich, it's incredible. The vegetarian plate was good, the stuffed grape leaves were flavorful, the tabolueh was fresh and the hummus was tasty. The naan bread was delicious as well. The interior leaves a bit to be desired in terms of cleanliness, maybe it was just due to the amount of people inside but the tables needed to be cleaned and the floor needed some mopping.
