Texted project mgr that one area of driveway puddles water and the drain pipe that ran under walkway no longer works and water runs out thru downspout. Project manager ignored texts. We had an old driveway removed and new one poured extending the width. Rob was our foreman and ran a hard working crew. Ryan (the owner) was out after the pour and returned upon completion to inspect everything. He's a hands on owner and that really means alot with such a large investment to your home. Jacob was our finish guy and took great pride in their completed work. He communicated well and made sure we were happy. Wanted to wait a couple months after the job to give a review to see if any problems would arise. 3 months later it still looks as awesome as it did when first installed. Had a 2 car driveway torn out and replaced with a 3. Also had a step added to our front porch and 50' of sidewalk added on the side of the house. 5 stars for EVERYTHING. Everyone I talked to was awesome and attentive. Job was completed in 2 days not including a missed day for rain. I cannot recommend Shamrock Concrete highly enough! read more

We had an old driveway replaced. They quoted us a very good price and scheduled the work to begin within 2 weeks. The project included a paved walkway to the front steps that had sunk as well. The total job took about 2 days. They finished on time and at the price they quoted. The crew was efficient, polite, and took care of the job site; no leftover scrap, tools, etc. Overall the work is good quality and the price was great. read more

We had a new driveway poured. It was a splotchy mess from day one. They assured us it would fade out give it five months. We did and It is still completely discolored all over. They don't want to fix it. We have had several contractors look at it and they all say it was trowel Burned. Wish I could post pictures. It looks like a dark snow leopard or Dark winter camo . Disappointed. I had a small side patio and one in the back completed. The one on my side they put the step so high it is hard to open the door and attached the concrete to my siding - will be interesting when I get my siding replaced. Additionally there is a unsightly crack on the back one that appeared on day 2. When asked about it I was told that cracks happen, ok but it feels like I wasted money because it looks like crap. Also was never offered for it to be sealed or any other additional options. To note apparently any warranty of theirs is only good if it's sealed. Prior to this I admittedly didn't even know it needed to be sealed, one would think they would offer it if it voids any warranty if it isn't. read more

Shamrock just put in our new exposed aggregate driveway and it looks fantastic. I've lost count of the number of neighbors who have stopped to talk about how great It looks. Ryan was out both after the pour and after the sealant to make sure that we were completely satisfied. Very disappointed with shamrock concrete, I am having problems with my concrete it is cracking . I can not get anyone to help or return my calls! This has been going on for at least a year. Everytime I call they say they never heard about this problem, my whole family has tried to call to get this problem taken of and no one from SHAMROCK will return calls or take care of the problem. Huge disappointment. We had a large stamped concrete patio poured about a year and a half ago. Right away, we called them back because it was FULL of surface/hairline/spider web cracks, which covered the entire surface of the new patio. Owner said it was normal "crazing" (which, if you do your research, you'll see is avoidable). Then shortly after that, the sealant started coming off, which the business owner said was normal "because we had a rough winter" (he generously offered to reseal it for $300...I think not). If the sealant can't even last a few months, then it seems to me it wasn't sealed correctly, or they should have used a sealant that can withstand a St. Louis winter. Now, there are also long, very visible cracks across the patio. They did not make the number of machined cuts into the surface that they were supposed to make (as written in our contract, I believe), so the patio has made its own cracks, much to our disappointment. They also broke some of the bricks on our house and left concrete spatter to dry on some bricks, too, which is permanent. We need to have our driveway replaced in the next few years, and I can tell you who we WON'T be hiring for that! In summary: - Entire surface area of patio is covered in "spider web" cracks. - Sealant didn't last more than a few months. - There are large cracks across the length of the patio - Owner says all of these problems are normal for concrete (I disagree--not normal for well-poured concrete) - We'll probably have to have the entire thing removed and re-poured within a few years - They broke some bricks on our house as an added bonus read more

Bought a house in the summer of 2014 and one of the draws was that it had a brand new driveway, sidewalk, and front steps/landing poured. Within about 2 years, it's now become a pool of water every time it rains. The middle is lower than the curb of the street, and on especially heavy rain days, some of the pooled water goes into my garage. I looked back at the letter the prior owners left stating who did the driveway and it said Shamrock Concrete. I called them to see if they had any warranty on their driveways and when I told them what it had done, they said they don't cover something like that.....only cracks. Not sure if this is a normal thing that happens within a few years of any new driveway or if it was incompetence, but they didn't seem like they wanted to take a look and/or make it right. Sooo, guess I'll be paying someone else to fix their mess. :-( read more

These folks were not at all competent. They removed our long driveway and poured a new one. We wanted several rows of pavers installed and they charged us extra for that. Now 2 years later, all the pavers are sinking and buckling since they were installed incorrectly on just sand. Ryan, the owner, said they guy they subcontracted that out to has gone out of business-I wonder why!! We would like our extra money back since the job was botched, but we have been offered some sand and rock to do it ourselves-no monetary compensation. As with the other reviewer, the crew was very messy and did splatter concrete on the side of our garage. They also broke our lamp post, which I deducted the price of a new one from the final payment. Also, the top layer of the driveway seems to be splotchy now-who knows why that is. We have spoken to Ryan several times and he keeps telling us to call him back. He will not come out to look at our driveway. Do not deal with this company!! read more
