FENCE & DECK DEPOT- PROOF OF THEIR WORK There are 2 sides to every story...but there is only one side to a photograph.. On 12-28-22 this business built a completely different fence than agreed upon. Now, I understand that's open to conjecture so I'll just present the finished product. See their work for yourself. The "Production Manager" came out twice in the 12 days after this was left as a finished product and said he would make it right and built the way I expected. At day 15, post work, I had to track him down for a date/time only to find out he was going back on his word and had no interest in being proactive and letting me know of this decision. Also on day 15 I finally got to speak to the owner. A guy called Sean Nesbit. Although he was speaking from his office, 6.8 miles from me, he said he'd be by next Tuesday. Because he was leaving for vacation in 1.5 days! I've never felt so important in my life! If you go with Fence & Deck Depot be forewarned...you very well could be left with the type of mess I was left with and then you, too, may receive a letter from the owner saying they are done with you. And then you, too, may have to go to the expense of hiring an attorney and sue him as I am doing. I posted the letter here and was made to take it down. Feel free to contact me if you want to read it. Do yourself a favor and read the reviews on the usual sites. Keep in mind that Sean has owned it only for approximately the past 3-5 years. Reviews older than that are generally positive and are praise for completely different ownership. read more

From start to finish, our experience with Fence & Deck Depot was superb. Our salesperson, Nick, was experienced and ready to answer any questions we had about our extensive deck and roof project. When we began the bidding process, we weren't sure if we needed to do a total tear-down and rebuild on our almost 30 year old deck. Once we knew that was the case, Nick expertly helped us imagine our dream outdoor space and bring it to reality. What made us most confident about the F&D team was their communication. Even in the short period between signing the contract and the construction team beginning their work, the F&D office kept in contact with us every few weeks, making us feel like we weren't just another contract on their ledger. They sent us daily updates with what they worked on that day and what they planned to do the next, and also very available via text if we had questions. We also appreciated that our same team of 3 workers were dedicated to our project from start to finish. They even came to finish up the whole job on a Saturday morning because we had a couple of rainouts and they still needed to finish the gutters on the roof. We love our new deck! I am a very demanding and at times can be a bit of a difficult customer because of my high expectations. Fence And Deck Depot navigated my project with true professionalism, and with excellent and constant communication as well. I am very pleased with their service and the quality of their product. I probably would've wanted a little upgraded and heavier gauge material for the perimeter fencing in the yard, but it looks great, and meets our needs. From their leader Sean, to my salesman, Aristotle, to Brennen and of course, Eric who heads up the Decking Side, all were very professional. I wish I remembered the names of our installation crew, but they were great and answered all of my questions on site and were very accommodating, great crew! We had Fence & Deck Depot replace our deck after we were very happy with the fence they installed last year. Nick asked lots of questions and gave us a detailed and timely estimate. Jeff let us know well in advance when he thought they could start the project and then gave daily status reports once the project started which was helpful since we were out of town at the time. Normally I would want to be on site during the work but was comfortable with this firm. We returned from vacation with the deck complete. It looks amazing.
