Shamrock Village is a great place to live. Quiet, comfortable, and accommodating are the three best ways to describe this place. Located by the 75 on-ramp and behind Fricker's, these apartments have great proximity to gas stations, restaurants, Meijer, and BGSU campus, all while tucked away from a lot of street activity. I came to BG for grad school with my girlfriend, and we stayed in a one-bedroom apartment (~800+ sq. ft.) for $700/month, which includes fireplace, bathtub with jets, walk-in closet, and washer/dryer (most spaces). Though the price may be a little high compared to other options around BG, you're not just paying for living space, you're paying for excellent accommodating management (that doesn't hound you for rent), immediate and attentive maintenance service, and a great great location that's connected to a local city park. The management of this complex also manages UHaul service and storage units for all your moving needs. Studio apartments are also available for around $400/month. I cannot recommend Shamrock Village enough. Probably the best choice in BG. read more
