Found this little gem walking around our hotel neighborhood. It's a little wonky as the space is shared by a pizza place which is divided in two by a wall and separate entrance doors. They seem to share the kitchen and servers.
Greeted quickly by smiling young Asian woman. She had a pretty good handle on English for these non-Portuguise speaking diners. We had googled the menu prior, so we're ready with our choices.
As far as spice level, 2 is a "3" (you get 1-5 choice). We like our food on the spicy side, and our mouths were happy we didn't go hotter!
The chicken goysas (their spelling) were tasty. Very similar to Chinese potstickers.
I had the Pork Ramen. Firm noodles, tasty broth and, oh my, super jammy egg!! (I had my hubbie's, too). The pork was okay, I had one piece with a small of bone in it so be aware....
Hubby opted for the Dan Dan Pork, which is served dry. He liked it, but I thought the version we had earlier in the week at The Time Out Market was better.
Absolutely recommend this place if you're a little tired of tapas after being on the road for a couple of weeks. read more
