As a piano player and huge pop culture fan, I loved all the music books they had for famous movies, shows and even had a Mario Brothers book.  My husband loves the guitar and drums so he was in heaven wandering around and the fact that you could try out the drums.  I'm so glad their is a Guitar Center closer than Chicago. Biggest downside is they allow anyone to play the drums then the drumsticks get set everywhere. I almost tripped over some because someone left some on the floor.

I saw a 4x12 speaker cabinet advertised on eBay and Reverb as being for sale by this business,…read morelocal pick up only. Due to the fact that I have a full time job and the business has extremely unusual business hours for a guitar shop (closed on weekends, open 7:30 - 10:30 & 12:30 - 4:30 Monday - Friday), I decided to call them because I was extremely interested in purchasing the speaker cabinet, but I live 3 hours away. Their voicemail message said to leave a message and they would return my call, so I left a detailed message explaining the situation on Monday, 4/6/26. Two days later, on 4/8/26, I still had not received a call back from them. I called again - this time during their unusual business hours. Someone answered the phone. I explained the situation to him and we made an oral agreement that he would hold the speaker cabinet for me until I could take the day off work and make the 6 hour round trip drive to pick it up from him on Friday, 5/1/26. During the first 2 weeks that followed, I saw that the cabinet was still being advertised for sale by them on eBay and Reverb. The third week, it is no longer on these websites. On Thursday, 4/30/26, the day before we had agreed to make the deal, I called them back to confirm. The man told me he doesn't have the cabinet anymore. He said it was being stored at the residence of an employee, and they can't locate it. It's missing, lost, gone. He said if he ever finds it, he will call me - which would then be the first time he ever called me. I took the day off work to make the long drive to purchase and pick up this cabinet because they are closed on weekends and like most people, I have a full time day job Monday - Friday. Thank goodness I called first. I've been looking forward to purchasing this speaker cabinet for three weeks and my day of paid time off is completely wasted - and without even so much as a simple 30 second courtesy call to save me from driving 6 hours for nothing. I would not recommend doing business with these people.

School of Rock is a fantastic program! Kids work harder at learning their parts because their…read moreband mates are counting on them. How great is it that they get to perform live, in real entertainment venues!! I've had 3 kids in the program and they've all found a great network of friends with similar interest. I've participated as well in the Adult program for several seasons and it is AWESOME! So much fun! The instructors are so supportive. Its like a big, fun, rocking family. I would highly highly recommend School of Rock to anybody who wants to learn an instrument or dreams of becoming a rock star.
